Absolutely amazing food, and at very reasonably price. Go for the (set) menu but you'll have to ask the waiter as it is not on the menu. Would most definitely go again.

The Mint Room delivers a tasty curry with a touch of class. We enjoyed prawn starters cooked tempura and tandoori. For mains garlic chicken and jalfrezi were tasty with lovely nan breads. Service was attentive, quick and efficient but relaxed. We had a most enjoyable meal.

We felt the person who took us to the table was not very welcoming, he sounded surprised when we said we have a reservation, food was average, extremely noisy, but the waiters were won, very helpful and pleasant.

Fabulous food and wonderful attentive service. The best Indian meal I've ever had. We had the tour of India taster menu and every single course was a delight.

Excellent service,a little more expensive than your average Indian restaurant, but then a menu that gives this restaurant it's individual style. Well worth a visit when visiting Bath.

Great service. The foods were stylish and delicious but all were a little salty. We felt dehydrated all afternoon. We got there 30 mins before the close the lunch order but the staff were very kind and friendly. We didn't feel rushed.

Great food, good atmosphere and good service. Rabbit starter was fantastic, followed by Lamb dhansak, not too spicy but still had a kick. Thoroughly recommend it, best curry in Bath.

Great experience - sophisticated Indian dining. Try the Tour of India taster menu. Well worth finding although on a main road so parking is a challenge. Recommended.

Overall it was an enjoyable experience but I found my lamb starter a little tough. My duck main course was very tasty but my companion found her sauce with the mussels, scallops and prawns too fiery so that she couldn't taste the subtle flavours of the seafood. I tasted it, and agreed with her assessment. I am glad I had the duck.

Food was delicious, service and staff excellent. I highly recommend. Try the Rogan Josh, lamb was so tender it melted in my mouth. Chickpea dish was very tasty as well.

Good well presented food, adding a 12% service charge to the bill a bit cheeky I thought. Quite a noisy experience and the tables are to close together for my liking. More of a bums on seats restaurant than a relaxed meal out.

The starters were delicious but I was disappointed in my main which was Chicken Madras 'Traditional, hot and spicy, Southern Indian spice-based curry, with The Mint Room's own Madras spice blend.' It was just so chilly hot I couldn't taste their own 'spice blend'. The staff were not attentive ignoring us as they were getting there 12% service anyway, it wasn't that busy!

the food was amazing couldn't fault - but the staff needed to have more knowledge on menu to explain the choices - i asked about two different breads - and got an answer one flat bread and one not!!so to me thats not explaining properly - also asked what jera rice ( think thats how its spelt) couldnt explain that either - we had to ask for a dessert menu - desserts were lovely - when asking for our bill - i asked for the service charge to be taken off - the waitress said i had to pay it!! so i looked at the menu again and it quite clearly say 12.5% discretionary service charge - i happy to pay a tip - but wasnt prepared to pay£17. i was sat on tale 22 - i was very excited that i finally was going to eat at the mint rooms - but felt the staff was a slight let down - to suggest more staff training martha gorton

Upon arrival, the Manager and staff gave us a warm welcome and politely guided us to our table. We had a lovely booth which was spacious, outward facing towards scenic bath and very comfortable and private. It was a perfect arrangement within the decor and ambiance of the restaurant which was of the highest quality and furnishing, the actual restaurant website does do the food and establishment justice and is a fair representation of what you will see and enjoy to eat. This restaurant was recommended on "Trip Advisor", as it was one of the best Indian restaurants in Bath; adding a modern-twist to Indian food as well as fine-dining; I have to admit it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, balanced and well spiced, not over powering the taste of the fish and chicken dishes but blended into the fabric of the food. It's fair to say this is an establishment that prides itself on fine-dining of the highest quality and the presentation, attentive nature to ensure your happiness throughout your experience was absolutely fabulous.

The Mint Room is a special Indian Restaurant - high quality food, well presented with very good attentive service. The use of spices is exquisite. The range of dishes on the menu is good and includes some dishes which are a bit different from the usual Indian menu as well as traditional choices. I would put this in the 'fine dining' bracket with reasonable prices.

A very interesting menu with a lot of dishes I didn't know. Quite a few Southern Indian ones as well. The food was really tasty and beautifully presented. The veggie platter for two as a starter was quite delicious. Service was excellent as well. Not cheap though.

Great food and service. Some new taste experiences. Prawns slightly overcooked but delicious non the less and the decor and cleanliness highlighting a lone cobweb visible above the suspended ceiling from my window seat... Had the cobweb been inhabited I'd have applauded the principle of live and let live.

Without doubt the best curry we have had the pleasure of eating. This is refined curry dining. The staff overall were very attentive and polite although scope for improvement in the meet and greet on arrival - left waiting while manager answered two phone calls. They could also do with losing a couple of tables down the middle of the room as they are far too close to each other - hence 5 out of 6

Food great but long delay before being seated followed by another long delay before our order was taken and extremely long delays between each course. Impossible to catch anyone's attention - we were even not offered the chance to order drinks when we were seated so we sat with nothing at all for a good half hour. The restaurant was full and the tables are much too close to each other so it was very difficult to get in and out without literally knocking things off the table; the noise levels were awful because of the number of people crammed into such a small space and we could barely hear each other speak.

Booked a table for 8:15 and didn't get to sit down until nearly nine o'clock. Was offered a free glass of prosecco to drink while we sat in the porch by the door but was driving so had to turn it down. Starter was amazing, had lemon sole. Main was okay but was very disappointed as I ordered vegetable jalfrezi which comes with onion and red peppers regardless, but the only other vegetable was potato so they might well have called it potato jalfrezi. Restaurant was very noisy and could hardly hear my fellow diners speak, so not a great ambience unfortunately.

The Mint Room, was very busy with customers at 8.30pm in the evening. We had requested an early table at 7.30pm, but was told they were full. Because it was so busy, I didn't feel that myself and my husband had the same good service as a previous visit. The food was fabulous and portion size generous.

Table booked prior to visit, lack of warm warm welcome at the entry. Not a lively atmosphere, certainly not suitable if you have young children.
