Lovely food, well organised as we had pre-ordered meals for Xmas. Nice staff and atmosphere.
Just perfect Would highly recommend Food and staff top notch Have rebooked for 13 family members for a xmas dinner and get together.
A very good carvery with plenty of choices, just found the desserts a little expensive, otherwise highly recommended
The evening was ok ,the meal was ok the service was good.
Wonderful food and excellent friendly staff I can recommend it to everyone
The Merry Miller has that very rare village & family pub atmosphere as soon as you walk inside. I have visited the Merry Miller a good number of times this year inviting family and friends to enjoy the amazing Sunday Carvery the pubs Sunday speciality. I must also say that the Pubs staff are a key element to its success. The pubs staff are by far the best experience this year if not last two years I have encountered with their prompt, helpful and friendly manner! The pubs staff always seem happy which adds to the relaxing atmosphere when visiting. The Sunday Carvery - provides large choices of meat and vegetables to choice from and I have ordered the gluten free and vegetarian Carvery options for my guests before and they have Enjoyed and have returned to the pub separately which says a lot!!
Always a really good carvery. The number of people in there tell the story really.
Great carvery! Lots of variety of veg and 4 main meats- very happy- beautifully cooked.
Could of done with the heating on as was could
Loved the atmosphere of the pub, my starter would have done me as the main course. Really enjoyed it. My friends starter was overcooked, but there main was good, My main was just to much food the burger for me was over cooked. Prepared to try The Merry Miller again, now I know about the generous portion size.
There was a long queue for the food but it was all very good. Some of the vegetables weren't as hot as they could have been. Plenty to eat. Our table was right by the queue so was a bit noisy and everyone had to go past us to get their food. Overall great food and will go again.
We all enjoyed area meals very much lovely place and company
Great value we would certainly go back if we were in the area again staff attentive & personable
Roast well cooked and plenty of it, very good value.
Lovely meal can’t get enough of the onion chutney x
Lovely Sunday carvery. We had a short weight for fresh joints and veg to be brought out but that meant everything was fresh and hot out of the oven.
Visited on a quiet evening, service was bad won’t be going back.
We had a very tasty and enjoyable meal which I would readily recommend.
A dusty pub, prefer fish and chips elsewhere, won't return
Lovely food. Excellent service. Couldn’t fault any of it. Can’t wait to go back.
We went for a birthday meal which involved 10 of us and the service was absolutely amazing. We couldn’t fault the service nor the food! We were 10 very happy people leaving satisfied and absolutely stuffed! Having been here before I would highly recommend this lovely pub and I will definitely be going back again.
Great food. Dinner ruined by some foul mouthed chavs sat behind us. Didn't want to cause a fuss especially when he said very loudly that he is happy to argue with anybody.
Friendly staff, lovely food, fast service and great country location
A quiet Monday evening meal but the food was great quality
Great carvery .. Loads of veg . Will defo go back
Fab fab fab and fab! Very tasty food and lovely staff.
Great food great service very friendly atmosphere recommend to all.
An enjoyable evening with amazing food, will definitely be returning
The food was amazing as always and the staff were really helpful however three of the real ales on tap had been sitting around for a while and were past their best. This won't stop us returning as the baked Camembert starter was gorgeous and all our mains were lovely too. None of us had room for dessert unfortunately :(
