Busy local pub that is right on the river. Friendly staff who were polite, helpful and provided just the right amount of attention. A great find, we will be back.
great location. always full , oozing history. Just across road from Brunel museum [try a cocktail there from the Apothecary Garden before crossing to the Mayflower. Mayflower has good food, good ambience, good service - what's not to like?
Attentive and friendly service, as always. Very good food. Could be more flexible with substitutions for those with specific dietary restrictions.
A wonderful experience from start to finish. Our table was ready when we arrived and the service was without flaw. We enjoyed our food and would come again.
I will highly recommend this restaurant because of the good atmosphere and service, and its beautiful location at the Thames. The food was really good and the restaurant is nice and cosy.
Tasty fish and chips and great service in the restaurant tonight! So many tempting options on the specials board too! Followed by a lovely sunset on the terrace.
Great atmospher. Excellent real ale. Plentiful food at a fair price. Good service. A very enjoyable evening out with American visitors while overlooking the Thames.
Like stepping into another world - the atmosphere is lively, food is fantastic and the ale's varied. A must for cheese aficionados. We'll be back
I had to re schedule the dinner and it was handled with no problem. Service and food were amazing, I definitely recommend the MAyflower for an informal lunch or dinner, for a small groups of friends or couples
It is a Wonderful oldie worldie pub and the food was delicious.Feels very inviting and a bit romantic and the staff just couldn't do enough to make your visit a good experience.will go there again soon.!!
Came here for Sunday lunch, excellent vegetarian option, so far unrivalled, delicious and very generously portioned. Great view, very lovely pub, old but stylish decor.
Wonderful service, scrumptious meal! Enjoyed our meal and will definitely return for more! Thank you for squeezing us in during a very busy time. We loved our food and had fun celebrating my hisband's completion of the Virgin London Marathon!
Amazing food, specially the delicious pies, and fun quiz night. Only problem: space was too tight! We were and corner and had to move half of our party to be able to get to the toilet.
Great nautical themed pub. We had booked in for dinner before a pop-up opera event at the Brunel museum. We arrived a few minutes late but they got us in and out quickly enough to make the show but without feeling overly rushed. Service was spot on, as was the food.
Excellent food as always in a wonderful early pub. We had delicious pies and mussels. And our grandchildren enjoyed the chips and veggie dishes. Also, great views of the Thames!
It is nice to have the upstairs as the restaurant. Good food, good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and efficient. Food were served very quickly. Will go back again.
Old-fashioned pub with excellent food served by very friendly staff in a friendly environment. On a nice day, the outside space is an additional positive feature. Sunday roast is recommended
We had a great Sunday Roast at the May Flower. The pub has a lovely atmosphere & very good value for money. My favourite pub in London, would recommend to anyone!
Friendly staff, delicious food & impeccable service. Perfect for a date in the cosy restaurant upstairs or a drink or meal with friends in the quirky pub downstairs.
Great little riverside pub, with friendly staff and a great selection of food and real ales. There's a great dining area upstairs and a jetty out the front. Can get pretty busy so recommend booking a table
A fantastic historical Riverside pub that does a solid Sunday Roast with all the trimmings followed by proper old school puddings; so think crumbles, pies, custard and Bakewell Tart.
Very nice pub, great location, amazing atmosphere. Service was ok. My for is more for the environment than the food. The latter was ok but nothing special. Overall I recommend it.
the Mayflower is one of The most beautiful pub, I've ever been! The staff and the food are gorgeous!!! When I'm in London I Just can't miss it!
Excellent food and terrific service. Lovely evening out. View and atmosphere are totally unique. Away from the regular tourist crowds. Wholeheartedly recommend to locals and tourists alike.
Remember to tell them at the bar, as we were not aware of the Restaurant upstairs and we thought that all the tables were taken!! Quite expensive for the type of food, but it is Central London. Surroundings good and service was good. I wanted to visit because I am from Boston in Lincolnshire where some of the Pilgrim Fathers that sailed on the Mayflower were from. Nice candlelit room with views over the Thames.
Lovely evening at the Mayflower. Beautiful quirky pub that serves great British food. I would deffiantly recommend a night out here and will be returning.
Really old historic pub full of character. Worth reading up on it before you go. Sunday lunch was amazing! Fresh, home made and huge portions. Definitely coming back to try out more of the menu maybe at lunch next time.
Everything was wonderful. Sunday Roast is not to be missed. Service was fabulous. Worth the trek. Not too far from underground, but walk can be complicated. Use Google Maps
Waiting staff really friendly and helpful but food not great probably because we could only book a table at 8 pm and they had been full all day. Several potatoes were burnt and the roast meal was generally very ordinary. Beef had run out as had best 3 deserts. We chose it for our visit to our son on Mother's Day because we have actually really enjoyed it there on several previous visits - it has a great atmosphere - and the food has always been good in the past but a pity they cannot maintain standards when stretched.
Great food and great outdoor space! Love this old pub :)
Absolutely love this place. Great food & staff in a beautiful location. Perfect way to end the week and live music was great too. Will be back as always
Fabulous venue and brilliant staff who we're helpful, happy and knowledgable of the products they were selling. Would defiantly recomend it to anyone who lives a traditional pub!!
Really friendly service, gorgeous food, reasonably priced and the biggest portion of sticky toffee pudding ever!!! Highly recommend the Mayflower for a good meal out
The atmosphere was lively and good fun. Despite it being busy, we had great service and delicious food. The interior of the pub is very cosy and intriguing. Totally recommend for a chilled out weekend lunch with family and friends.
Scenic location next to the Thames. The good is excellent, while the stuff is very friendly and welcoming. The decoration is also very nice and you can feel how the place was in the past.
We are used to go to mayflower, especially when we have our relatives from Italy. It is an exquisite english experience, the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is magic!
It is a very small and hectic restaurant and the food was slow coming, particularly between course. It was nice when it got there though.
Great service, great food in an authentic location! Great views of the Thames! Here are some more words. And some more. And more. Two more.
Very nice, romantic and typical English restaurant with a brilliant view of the Thames. Very food attention for details. The food is good and well presented. I would definitely recommend it!
I booked this restaurant for my Dads birthday, the food was fantastic, cooked to perfection and tasted delicious. The service was also of a high standard, very helpful and accommodating. Located right in the Thames so with the right table you have a view. I would highly recommend this restaurant but would warn that you need to book. We had booked a table for 5 people on a Saturday afternoon and we did not leave until approx 5:30pm. The whole time we were there, they appeared to be fully booked, I could not see any empty tables.
It was lovely food as ever and a very pleasant evening out. I felt slightly chilly in the restaurant. I would recommend the Mayflower to anyone
Fantastic friendly service, lovely food, relaxed atmosphere, great for vegetarians - and for non veggies too. Really enjoyed our meal, will definitely return. Hopefully soon!
Excellent location and service. reasonably priced. Only small let down was that my Scottish beef burger seemed a little dry, however, that is probably a good thing - lean and healthy meat :)
Never fails to disappoint. crowded but that just shows how popular it is. excellent price considering the quality of the food. i recommend the cheese board in particular!
Love it here! The service was great and the staff were so nice. The food was absolutely amazing and the wine was also fantastic. Highly Recommend!
As always, we had good wholesome food provided in amazing surroundings. My only criticism would be that they have had a very limited number of vegetarian dishes on their menu. These have remained the same over a year or more!
Un pub con una grande atmosfera. Personale cortese e gentile. Ottimo Il fish and chips e da menzionare l'eccellente birra "Mayflower Scurvy". Spero di ritornarci presto!
I have visited the Mayflower restaurant on a few occasions. The food never fails to impress the service is first class staff very friendly but not intrusive
Consistently good food and service - all you could want in a local. This of course means it's consistently difficult to get a table !!
The Mayflower is one of our locals - my wife and I stopped in for 'date night'. As ever, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and all of the food was lovely. There's also a good range of real ales available.
