The restaurant is well located and easy to find, with views of the Thames. Both the food and service were good, and the staff were friendly.

We enjoyed our meal and out servvice. My American freinds could not manage the potatoes and i think maybe they would have like to have the option of chips instead. wasnt sure if you could ask for options.

Lovely waitress, lovely food and a great venue. We had delicious veggie burgers with chips. I'm so happy this is my local; it never disappoints!

it was a quiet Sunday, but the food, beer, staff and atmosphere were warm, friendly and enjoyable as usual. To cap it all off, we had a wonderful table looking directly onto the river at sunset. Hard to beat - thanks to everyone involved!

I love the mayflower pub! Cozy in winter as in summer! Food, atmosphere and staff are excellent! The vegetable pie is my favorite! I always come back, especially when parents and relatives are in the city!

As always, the food was freshly cooked and delicious as well as reasonably priced. The staff were attentive and friendly and considering how busy the Mayflower always is, the food was very fast arriving. I prefer the upstairs restaurant, which has a great ambience and sense of history in this very old pub. Always a favourite.

Visited many times, first time upstairs in the restaurant and the food & atmosphere never fails. Love the Sunday Roast. Service was great, along with the food. Recommend to anyone looking for some great proper pub grub.

The Mayflower had a great atmosphere, excellent staff and service and very nice food. Also a good choice of ales making it a perfect Sunday lunch.

A good meal at a reasonable price. Menu options were plentiful with good options for vegetarians in our party. We were looking to have a relaxed meal without being pressurised by the staff and that's exactly what we received.

A lovely position on the banks of the Thames, The Mayflower is an historic and atmospheric pub. The restaurant is upstairs in a wood panelled room with river views. Great British pub food with excellent service.

Lovely historic pub to meet up with family visiting from California. Good food and drinks were enjoyed by all of us. we loved the view of the River Thames too.

Great food and drink as usual (I recommend pie and mash and the Mayflower scurvy ale). The quiz master was on top form, good quiz with lots of different rounds.

Excellent food, service and atmosphete. A little gem of a place for Sunday lunch. Sunday roast is the best but lots of other tasty options.

The place was easy to find. Both the food and service were excellent. I went with my wife and she was very impressed particularly with the roast lamb.

In our quest to eat in the oldest or most historic pubs in London, we came upon The Mayflower. It is supposed to be the oldest pub on the river Thames. The Mayflower offers great views over the river from both the outside covered patio and upstairs in the restaurant. Can you just see the Pilgrim Fathers Mayflower ship moored here? If the walls could talk, can you just hear the stories they would tell about what went on here almost 400 years ago. We were warmly greeted and seated at a window upstairs overlooking the Thames. This pub is old, paneled and totally captivating. Our server, Fatima, took excellent care of us. We decided on two very different selections for lunch. I went for the Vegetarian Platter with Falafel, Hummus, Baba Ganoush, olives, crudités, and Focaccia bread – very interesting and delicious. My husband was in the mood for a burger. They offered a 8 oz. beef burger with 35 day Hung Scotch Beef Steak in a sourdough bun with Gherkin, chips and coleslaw – he was thrilled. We really enjoyed our lunch. If you are going to the Brunel Museum, stop here for lunch.

Friendly staff! Assistance was rendered when needed! The staff went out of their way to let us get a table with great view! Will definitely be back!

The Mayflower is a real gem, backing on to the river and steeped in history. It's both a proper pub and a restaurant, with well kept beer, good no nonsense, tasty unpretentious food and staff who were delightful, friendly and helpful. We'll be going again.

The Mayflower is a great place. Went there for a Hallowen night and everything was perfect. From the food to the beer. Hope will be there soon again.

The Mayflower was a bustling pub on a Tuesday evening. Fortunately we were dining upstairs where it was quieter. Good service, coupled with good food. We had mussels and scallops to start (my partner commented that the mussels were a little gritty), followed by a venison and lentil pie and the lamb fillet salad. The pie was really good, the salad was good but a little wet for my liking. It deserves to be as busy at it was as it was a very good pub meal!

Service fast and efficient, food good with generous portions. Pudding disappointing because although it was a lovely creme brûlée , it was straight from the fridge and would have been so much better warm.

Always friendly and efficient service, great food plus lots of atmosphere. Also good place for an after dinner walk along the river. Worth booking in advance on a Sunday.

This was our second visit to The Mayflower. My companion and I both had a main course and dessert, all excellent. Service was friendly and efficient.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing food and amazing staff. They were also extremely accommodating, I suffer from 5 quite tricky food allergies and they went out of their way to ensure I was looked after. I can't recommend this pub enough - make sure to book as they get incredibly busy.

Really lovely roast dinners. On Sunday evenings, the place is lit by candlelight. Very popular place so make sure to book in advance. Deserts are very nice too.

Very good atmosphere, friendly staff and brillant food. Location is ideal, directly on the Thames. The pub below the restaurant is also worth a visit, with its large terrace.

So cozy and friendly! The food was wonderful and the atmosphere really made the experience. Will definitely be going back. Hopefully will try to get a table on the terrace overlooking the river.

Excellently efficient and friendly customer service from Fatima in the Mayflower restaurant simply cannot be faulted. Compliments to the chef too - my wife and I enjoyed three courses apiece from the varied main menu, and enjoyed every well prepared and presented mouthful. Atmospheric surroundings on the banks of the Thames, which are steeped in history. I have no hesitation in recommending - we'll be back with a bigger group in future!

We had a late lunch last Saturday for a group of seven. I enjoyed a starter of perfectly cooked scallops followed by a tasty steak and Guinness pie with nicely crunchy veg and chips. The service was casual but friendly and the whole offering provided good value for money. My only complaint was that we were made to vacate the table at 16:00 even though it was clear that no-one else needed it - I got the feeling that they just wanted us out so they could put their feet up.
