Friendly, quick and clean, food was perfect would recommend anytime.
Very good midweek menu, two courses for £10 ,very good value.
A very enjoyable visit, good value, excellent food and very friendly staff, will certainly call again.
Been looking for a decent Sunday lunch in the area for ages, I was a little apprehensive following a string of disasters. The March Hare was brilliant, couldn't fault it. This was our first visit but it certainly will not be our last.
Carvery food wasn’t great. We’ve had much better elsewhere. Puddings are expensive (£4.50!) considering they are in a display cabinet and not made-to-order. The tiramisu tasted like it had been made with instant coffee rather than espresso. Children’s play area is disappointing and like a big cat litter tray. We won’t be returning.
Carvery was good, staff friendly. However deserts were ropey. Look nice on display but were not good to eat.
Very good Sunday lunch carvery but a bit expensive at £11.95
Family lunch, nice atmosphere and good food. Prompt service with a smile.
Great carvery. All was fresh and delicious. Friendly staff. Thank you
We visited as a family of 5. Really enjoyed our lunch - we all chose the carvery. We will come again.
perfect as always well done for the first class everything
Great food & service, pleasant atmosphere, highly recommend a visit.
was the place we had our first date great night
Great pub and lovely food. Staff were fantastic too, would recommend.
Great food, first time on a Monday evening but will be back
Although we had reserved a table, we were seated in the bar rather than the restaurant lounge because it was busy. I'm not sure why but our table was then changed twice before we could sit down - the staff member was apologetic and said Mondays are chaotic. The bench style seating is nowhere near as comfortable as the dining chairs in the lounge and the bar lacks ambience. We both chose the carvery which is normally excellent; unfortunately, our food today was tepid at best and the parsnips so overcooked as to be impossible to cut. Some other vegetables were mushy for the same reason. Perhaps Monday was a bad choice of day.
Fabulous good and service definitely recommend the march hare inn
Always a lovely meal. Been and go quite a lot . The deserts are always well presented to. Sometimes struggle to squeeze it all in after the fabulous food. But needs must. Highly recommended
Exceptional food, great staff, reasonable prices we will be back
Very good food and staff friendly lovely place to go
