Been many times and, as usual, roast is lovely. Only qualm is that windows were open and making it really drafty and took 30 minutes to get served dessert. Asked for brownie to be heated then they gave it me cold anyway. Not fab but still tasted great.

Just try to compare the food to any , even a bus station cafe on the continent... let alone French or German . Do you really want me to tell you that ?... We were in your place, but : - it was sometime ago - it was not a carvery , but a regular meal. It was very good then (!) , But it is truly tasteless now .

I've been here many times for a Sunday carvery and I cannot fault it. Hot and tasty food, all freshly cooked. Meats are obviously high quality and cooked to perfection. A lovely selection of vegetables too. And a range of delicious desserts to finish. It's popular so booking is essential!

First visit and it won't be the last. Carvery was absolutely gorgeous, well set out and very well organised, friendly staff too.

Easy to book on line. Fast and easy service. Well cooked food.

Meat was lovely and the veg was all fresh never had a better carvery

Good food and service. Three points, seated by bar despite empty restaurant hence noise. Secondly, take home dessert portion very small. Thirdly, vegetarian carvery same price as meat standard (meat is far more expensive than veg).

As a group of. 6 we all enjoyed our excellent meal and I’m sure we will be back again

Lunch for 4 persons had to be paid with 5 separate visa payments! Not acceptable and completely spoiled our meal. Such a shame............

First time we have visited and were really impressed. We had read a few negative reviews but we found the food excellent. The Beef was well cooked so if you like your beef a little pink don’t have it ! Even so it was tender and tasty. The choice and quality of the vegetables were lovely and all piping hot. The gravy was flavoursome and piping hot. The side sauces were tasty. A good choice of desserts which appeared and tasted homemade. We will definitely return and recommend.

Suprisingly busy for a Tuesday evening but a nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very helpful and food arrived promptly.

We had 4 meals. 2 Carverys and 2 grills. All were cooked well. Was very busy. Theres a nice selection of desserts. Was very enjoyable.

Poor meals, cold food, the meat was good and nice gravy but everything else the all the vegetables and Yorkshire puddings etc cold and tasteless.

booked our table on line with no problem, we knew they did a good deal on steaks on a Saturday, two of us took full advantage of that deal, which was just perfect, our friends had the carvery which is always very good, and if you are lucky you can purchase a turkey leg to bring home.
