The food was fantastic. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Thank you.
Unfortunately on this visit our chicken wasn’t edible, couldn’t cut through it and it was very pale as if it had been poached. We’ve always had really good food here till Sunday gone, they gave us 25% off, I would still recommend them
Poor service by inexperienced staff, incorrect order served to our table meaning extensive delays. Beef yorkie and pies were overcooked and gravy watery and tasteless. Table not cleared fully between courses, no spoon offered for soup, had to ask for knives and forks, had to ask for tartare sauce that should have been supplied with our meal. Whilst they were pleasant enough staff seemed under pressure on Good Friday. We have been twice before when service/food was ok. We felt let down this time.
Great as usual. And it is good not having to cook.
Very friendly staff, lovely food, the best chips and lovely atmosphere- would recommend a visit and I will certainly be returning
Great service. Lovely food. No complaints. Happy to recommend this place.
Lovely restaurant with friendly staff. Always a pleasant experience when we go.
We was seated very quickly and our drinks order was taken quickly but it took about 15 minutes to get our drinks, the order for food took about 15 minutes but the food arrived quickly but i must say it was only average, the stuffing tasted as though it was deep fried, overall the food was ok,the toilets on the other hand were awful as the floor felt as though it was giving way. They made the manor look great in the bar and dining area but the toilets are a safety hazard.
We always have a lovely meal at the manor, the young staff have always been very friendly, we had lamb shanks which was beautiful, the meat literally fell of the bone
wasnt told it was a different menu for mothers day so restricted choice but was lovely overall
Was a lovely evening with the family and food was delicious. Only negative was they had a singer on at 9.00pm which we weren't aware of. He was very good but really loud and we were unable to chat and hear each other talk.
We had the over 60s menu. Nice starter my husband had the soup, I had the chicken strips both a good size. The mains were nice but not enough. I have been other places locally and had more. We had a desert for £1 extra plenty of that, but would have preferred more on the main course. The The staff very friendly
Was going well until I was served cold mash. The waitress did bring more out when informed her. Otherwise food was fine
We love visiting here, it's become our new local for dining out the food is always lovely
We went for Sunday lunch and it was the nicest Ive had in a long time.
The beef was like beef use to taste. It was lovely.
A fantastic lunch, staff amazing and quality of food fantastic. Thanks
Booked late and so was unable to specify a table. Ended up sitting in a noisy area at the front near the windows instead of a booth I had in mind. Staff and food good. Next time would want to book further in advance to opt for table we wanted for more privacy, but for the price good.
nice welcome drinks orded soon as came in dinner order placed five minutes later came . not very warm was hungry so ate it . none asked if we wanted coffee or a sweet ,tried twice to get someones attention to get the bill .went to the bar payed their in the end .be better is staff had thier own area so customers no whi to ask .
Really enjoyed, it was a little noisy and kids running about but good music, Rugby on and great food.
Good food and service , friendly staff and good atmosphere, will return
The food and service were very good, will definitely go again
We had a lovely meal for 3 on Sunday. Our main courses were delicious and we enjoyed the desserts very much as well! Thank you to the team who made us welcome and looked after us very well.
As always great service and lovely food. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
This place used to be my favourite but it has gone downhill. The prices are inflated, the food is not great quality and the service is lacking. We got our drinks straight away but then waited 25 mins for someone to take our order and they only came then because I went looking for them. When the starters arrived (peppered mushrooms on a garlic ciabatta sprinkled with Stilton), it was a piece of ciabatta, unceremoniously plonked on the plate with approx 2 chopped mushrooms swimming in what can only be described as congealed gravy with a few peppercorns in.....no sign of any Stilton. It tasted awful and when asked where the Stilton was we were told they put it in the sauce now and not sprinkle it on top. There was absolutely no Stilton in that sauce!! Needless to say we paid for our drinks and left, never to return!
Restaurant was freezing had to move but still no warmer. Was served drinks promptly but then had to wait ages for waitress to take food orders eventually having to go and find her, alhough not busy. Food told 45 minutes to arrive and was poor. The vegetables with my pie consisted of peas some sad looking beans and 2 carrots! Friend left the bacon on her hunters chicken as so unappetizing. A salad that was ordered was forgotten and had to ask for all condiments and sauces none offered. When Bill came charged £5 extra for the hard overcooked jacket potato which replaced the chips with a steak. Didn't realise till we had left or would have queried this. Not a good experience and used to be lovely never had a bad meal there previously
Top quality food at a good price. Had the large Sunday roast and couldn't finish it as it was bigger thanks expected. Will definitely be going back.
Staff were rude and extremely unhelpful. Will not be returning. Food was ok but not fantastic for the £130 spent. Such a waste of a Sunday
When we arrived we were welcomed by a member of the team and promptly shown to our table. The menu choices were very good! The homemade chips tasted great and the portion sizes were very filling. We really enjoyed our visit - thank you
Easy parking and the food was OK but the decor is in need of upgrading and it was quite cold in the restaurant. We went on 3rd January in the evening. It was fine for us as we just wanted a meal after being at a matinee concert at the Royal Concert hall and it was conveniently located to the Toton park and ride before travelling home to Lincolnshire. It wouldn't be the place I would choose for a special occasion.
Good food , Good service ,friendly staff . altogether a pleasant experience . . . . Although we went at a time when they wasn't so busy.
Always good service and fantastic food. We regularly go to the manor and have always experienced an enjoyable time. The children’s menu is very good value for money with excellent quality
A lovely family fun pub/restaurant. Very dog and kid friendly, and great atmosphere. Food was served quickly and lots of choices. The fajitas were fresh, spicy and hit the spot! Kids menu excellent and home made fries a winner!
We had a fantastic, pre-Christmas meal at The Manor. We were seated in a quiet area of the restaurant and were looked after very well by the welcoming and friendly team. Service was very efficient and the food was excellent. The home made chips were absolutely great! Thank you to the Manor for lovely meal.
Freezing cold no matter where you sat, everyone sat with their coats on. Table was in a corner by a drafty window and next to karaoke speaker. Karaoke far too loud, unable to have conversation with those even on same table as karaoke was deafening . Food terrible, tasteless and unappealing. Really disappointed would not recommend to anyone, has there been a change to management? Wasn't this poor last time ate there
Service was slow. Food was cold and barely cooked. Sent one dish back. Karaoke far too loud and ruined any conversation around the dinner table. Never again!
We had a great family meal out at the Manor. The food was very good and staff were very pleasant. We enjoyed the meal very much.
It took 25 minutes to take our order and we had to go ask someone to come serve us. It then took 50 minutes for the food to arrive. They had ran out of various Sunday lunch items. The staff were very apologetic but then we heard another table who hadn't waited as long for their food get a free round of drinks. We raised this and some drinks were taken off our bill but had we not heard we wouldn't have received anything for the poor service. We did ask for a child's meal to be served first and to their credit that came out in 5 minutes. The food was very average.
Had a Sunday roast of chicken and it was absolutely delicious, been to the manor quite a few times and every time we have been it’s been yummy. Never had a problem with the staff, always friendly, and the food is good, would definitely recommend.
Lovely meal, lovely staff, lovely environment, great value for money, well worth a visit! Good choice of dishes on menu, small appetites catered for. Great!
Great food, the Gluten Free options are always tasty, and great staff- the service from Bryony, Chloe and the new waitress is always brilliant with a smile on their face!
Had the over 60’s Menu for £7.99 for 3 courses and was “Well Impressed “ with the choice available and the quality . Will definitely be going again and will work my way through them all.
Meal poor, service slow asked to leave the table after the meal and find other seating so table could be freed up. However there was no reservation for it
Great service and the food was reasonably priced for what you got 👌🏼
We went with two friends to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The meals were great plenty to eat and value for money. Would definitely recommended it.
Friendly staff , good value for money. Tables a little too close together but otherwise a good environment. There is a good choice on the menu and specials are available.
Lovely food nice customer service . Left with a very full and happy tummy. Will visit again.. . . . . . . . .
