The Manor

First visit for at least 3 years. What a cheery place it has become, The most excellent young ladies who arranged us a table. The last time we visited "The Manor" the owner was rather brash after my party were not happy with the food being barely warm. Keep up the good work food was hot and good portions. We were asked by friends recently if we would advise a restaurant, without doubt "The Manor" was advised!

staff very helpful polite. food very good value spolit by not taking a voucher which we thought they accepted would go there again reconmend for a meal

The service was excellent and the food was excellent too would recommend it nice not to have to queue up to order etc like other places

The food here is lovely, the staff really friendly, been here quite a few times, would definitely recommend, the steaks were so succulent and proper chips yum yum

Excellent service and food was amazing. Nice calm atmosphere and very relaxing. Would recommend the steak and the spicy chicken. Great experience and will definitely book again.

Great food as always. Service was a little slower than usual today meaning we had a longer than expected wait. I can only imiagine it was because it was busy. Would still go again though.

Another satisfactory visit. Strangely I miss the specials board even though I rarely selected from it! Outdoor area has now been remodelled, let's hope for a good summer so it can be enjoyed.

First time visiting The Manor. There was 4 of us within our party and each of us throughly enjoyed our meals. Staff were very polite, friendly and anything that we required our needs were met. They kept us informed about how long it would take for our meals to arrive. There was a little wait on food but considering everything was cooked to order and it was fresh, we actually didn't mind the wait. Definitely value for money. The portion sizes are very good, in fact just the right size. The only criticism I would suggest for improvement is that heaters are required near the main doors. We were sat at a table near the door and we had a cold draft around our legs and ankles. Everything else was great.

Good food at a reasonable price. Pleasant atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. I thought the Stella & Estrella was a bit expensive for a pub at £4.30 a pint.

Once again lovely fresh food. Never fails to impress the quality. Service great and friendly and relaxing atmosphere. New area outside looking great. Will be back soon.

Lovely food and great service as always. Well priced too and great selection of beer/ales. They have Estrella on tap, may favourite. Would definitely recommend

Another visit and the food & service are up to their usual standards. We are always made to feel welcome & staff are happy to cater to our slight tweaks to menu items!

The Starter was Cold(Brie)Mains too many potatoes, & tasteless! Overcharge me£13.50paid Cash,haven't had refund as we.live 70 miles away,Wii possibly go up in3-5wks time to see if a refund is given

Separate gluten free menu. Main was lovely. Dessert was ok.Mum thought scampi was wonderful. Burger would have been better if it came with salad.( Which it said and then didn't)

The welcome was warm & friendly. The service was very good, just enough to make sure you had everything you needed but not over the top that made you feel uncomfortable. Like the little touch just before the main meal was served letting you know food was on its way but checking if you needed more drinks. Food was very good as well. Very enjoyable experience.

Service good,,waitress nice and friendly,,meal was not at all good!! Hunters Chicken,,?.. Dried up Chicken bacon burnt,onion rings overcooked to extent onions couldn't be found!! A basic meal to say the least!, on brighter side dessert was very nice,Didn't complain as pub was busy and wanted to enjoy rest of evening catching up with friends,

Food was great, staff are very polite and helpful and prices are about average. Only negative was we were waiting a while for our food, that said however it was Mothers Day.

Superb service, felt very well looked after. The menu was varied and the children's choices good. Booking the table was easy and the whole experience I would recommend.

Fab food and friendly/helpful staff. Had to change the time due to miss communication between myself and my friend and they were more than accomadating. Would highly recommend this place.

The Manor is a local pub Restuarant, in an area with a quite a lot of competition. For me it more holds it's own, it's clean and tidy there is parking, a decent menu and the chef seems to know what they are doing. The staff are friendly and the beer is cold 😀

Staff welcoming food very good. The only negative is exiting from car park if you need to turn right can be tricky . Overall would recommend

Nicely refurbished recently, excellent service, good size portions all at a fair price. Only deducted a point as we thought our Eton Mess lacked enough fruit and meringue. Plenty of parking, some outdoor tables for the summer, and a kids play area all looked good.

Food was good and a good selection of beers. The service was quick, efficient and friendly. A little surprised that dogs are allowed where people are dining. I have no problem with them in the bar but not where food is being consumed. The only other complaint was that it was a little noisy where we were sitting.

Visited on a Sunday lunchtime, food was lovely, atmosphere very pleasant and lovely staff in a great location with plenty of parking. Will recommend to friends and family.

Food was excellent, service was great. The only reason it didn't get full marks was because the toilets need to be cleaner. Besides this, I would still return and recommend.

Very good experience. The food was hot and very pleasant. Staff very friendly. We asked for water and it never arrived. The toilets look as if they are under construction. Apart from that, it was a fantastic experience. We will definitely go back.

All food is very well cooked and tastes delicious. Added serviettes and good service makes it a place a cut above the other local pubs etc but a maybe little pricey. Well worth a visit.

Food choice was ok, we had Jerk Chicken which was received warm but wasnt hot which was slightly disappointing - didnt send it back as we avoid reheated chicken dishes wherever poss. Otherwise service & drinks choice was good

Met and seated by someone who looked like he didn't want to be there, took our drinks order which came quickly, after 15 mins I went and told them we we ready to order as nobody had bothered to ask, table had water glasses on but we weren't given any water, unlike the last time one of our party visited. The stilton chicken was overcharred which gave it a burnt taste and smothered in sauce to the point of drowning. sauce would have been better on the side, the roast beef dinner was nice but the meat not as tender as it could have been. The lack of childrensmenu gave me predicament as although my daughter is 15 she has a small appetite, so chose from the starter menu and two sides which ended up being far too much and costing as much as an adult meal.

Excellent food and a bonus being gluten free so plenty of choice. Service was a little slow when requesting drinks at table and xmas menu but a very enjoyable evening. Will book again soon for a friends birthday and xmas meal. Will recommend to friends and family.

Excellent food, sensible portions of main course meant we had room for dessert which was also delicious. I particularly enjoyed the summer pudding, following on from the duck breast.

Good was great, the roast lovely however we got there when the restaurant had just opened and it was incredibly disorganised, we waited a long time for drinks. Highly recommend leaving room for pudding as they were all delicious :)

Great food and welcoming staff. Fantastic range of Gluten free foods although not as much vegetarian food. Excellent quality and reasonable prices. Have been anumber of times. Highly recommend.

Nice meal, nice place. I have been before but think that the menu has now got a bit pricey for what was on offer this time.

The food was delicious as usual, I had lamb shank and the other two had chicken, really lovely, been here a few times now and definitely going back, the staff so friendly
