Food as always A1 good value good service the staff are very attentive they give you time between courses you are never hurried would recommend most highly

Booked online all ok ,got a table straight away ,it was very busy took our order for drinks and food food was all good but service was erratic started to clear our table before we had our main courses. Can't knock the food but service could have been better

This was our 3rd visit and can honestly say it is the best Chinese we’ve ever been to. As we travel from Portsmouth it’s a shame we cant visit more often

Excellent dining experience. We booked for 6:30 , right time for a quiet meal as the place filled up quickly, even on a Thursday. The food was excellent with fresh ingredients. Good and fast service.

This is without doubt the best Chinese Restaurant in Bournemouth and for us the best anywhere. Great food as always in a lovely atmostphere. Full marks again - Well Done The Mandarin !!

Soon after arrival I was quickly seated and presented with the menu. I opted for the set menu 23£ per person which was both substantial and of good quality in taste and presentation. The service was very good at all times especially the maitre d who took time to check that all was well despite being quite busy. I was very happy with all aspects of my dining experience.

Good service , good value , staff very friendly food excellent wide choice. You are allowed to take your time to choose . They must be doing it right as they have been there since 1969. Recommend most highly .

Great food. Very friendly staff . Only criticism is food comes out a bit too quickly so the experience is over very quickly. Particularly like the Chenin blanc !

The food was brilliant and the staff were very attentive. Being Christmas Eve the whole experience was very festive with our friends. Will definitely be going again.

The restaurant was too hot and uncomfortable, and the food was average, very gloopy sauce . It was all hot and the service was excellent though

When we visit Bournemouth, we always go here! Food is to die for and pretty faultless with lots of dishes to choose from.....we had three sizzling dishes, all of which we cleared and managed a dessert too!!

Good and fast service, the places is nice too but the food is too salty and greasy. I know Chinese meant to be a bit of that but this was almost uneatable.

My wife and I had not eaten chinesefor some time. The atmosphere was very good and staff too. Our starters were Ok......ribs and satay chicken.we then decided on aromatic duck.......this was the worse Ihave eaten...including supermarket ones. Duck,cold,tasteless...could have been any meat.I then asked for bill and left.We will NEVER go to this place again.

Food was Okish the duck was really dry, food was just average, husband says he’s had much better else where So not that good really !!!

Good quality food served hot. Good portian size. The service was first class. Eat here every time we come to Bournmouth, its allways good and clean.

Best quality Chinese food I have had ever. Nice atmosphere - would have been better with Chinese music though. Quite expensive though which was the only downside.

Very good food. Pleasant staff. Overcharged on bill for a drink we asked for but never got. They corrected it straight away. Would go again if in Bournemouth

Restaurant a little chilly tonight! It was warmer outside:) Food was delicious as usual and very happy and friendly staff. Service a bit slow and forgetful with our drinks:( Nothing to stop us coming again though! Been coming here since a kid, over 40 yrs, food is always spot on!

This was the first time of going to the mandarin orientle fusion restaurant in the evening. The food was absolutely delicious and so much for the price well worth it the staff were friendly and very on th ball at all times. Would definitely go again.

As usual we very much enjoy the mandarin that's why we always return last night was no exception service was excellent food was good although toffee banana / apple dessert was not up to usual standard but everything else was perfect and it was a very busy evening a completely full restaurant keep up the good work mark and colleagues thanks

Excellent meal but disappointed that they wouldn't swop 1 portion of rice for 1 noodles when we were spending £26 per head on the set menu!!

Best Chinese I ever had. Superb! The main course dishes we had were all fantastic and all of our party agreed. If we lived in Bournemouth we would be regulars.

Great variety of food! Lovely atmosphere, quick service. Would recommend to anyone. Ordered hot plate 3 seafood dish. The sizzling is awesome. Tastes fantastic, we ordered one more when we finished! The garlic salt chilli ribs were crispy and not greasy. Scallops and spring onion with ginger was cooked to perfection. The sweet and pour pork - can’t go wrong. Not too sweet and so flavourful.

we found our meal and the service to be extremely satisfying , we will be back again shortly , we will also recommend the mandarin fusion to our friends.
