Excellent food and excellent value. The food was really tasty and very well prepared. Great service too. One chap was waiting and running the restaurant. Would definitely recommend to anyone and will be back next time we are in the area...
What a fabulous meal! The food here is always delicious and the service is brilliant. Such good value too, which we always appreciate. Thank you!!’
Enjoyable meal. Quality food and great service. Took my sister and daughter to Luxor and neither had tried Lebanese food bit both were very impressed. Highly recommended.
This is what going out should be like! We had amazing service from staff that couldn't do enough for us. The food was incredible! Must try the Lamb Tagine!!
Great Meal, Pleasant Atmosphere & Service. Staff were happy to discuss different dishes and spices, which was very helpful. Never had this type of cuisine before so it was important that we had some guidance, would eat here again. Only problem which is not the restaurants fault is the parking. We had to park several streets away as the roads around the restaurant are very busy.
Booked this as a quick lunch stop on Bank Holiday Monday. The menu sounded temting and it did not disappoint. We had a range of starters feta salad , sausages and filled pitta breads which were delicious although my son could have eaten the sausage portion twice over. The main dishes were also varied . I had the meatballs and egg dish cooked in a tagine - really filling and tasty. My husband had the chicken couzi - his only complaint was that he would have liked a few more vegetables, my son had shish kebabs which apparently were very tasty so much so that he would not share them!! Drinks were reasonably priced we were driving so only had soft ones. Would go back again in an instant. Would love to have had tasters of more dishes if we had been there in the evening. Staff were very courteous and helpful.
First time here, really enjoyed it. Thre Kibda starter was fantastic, as was the Lamb Kofta Tajine. Friendly staff, relaxed service. All good, so we’ll be returning...
Excellent food and service staff very helpful would definitely go again and recommend it for others to try. Nice and bright restaurant we all had a great time.
Excellent food and service, we will certainly be back. Great vegetarian options for my housemate and plenty for me too, the Cajun chicken was amazing
What a lovely evening. Great staff and the food...... No Rush. No Fuss. Nothing too much trouble. WONDERFUL. Great value for money and drinks not too expensive.
If you want an excellent meal in a lovely well cared for restaurant run by husband and wife team just book the Luxor in Charminster Rd. We were 6 of various ages some vegetarian. We shared two mezze platters which was so tasty My son had the Lebanese beer which he liked. For main we had the Lamb tagine , melt in the mouth, the vegetarian tagine, the Okra and Lamb tagine with lovely subtly flavoured rice and some Lahmajoon a kind of pizza with mince lamb, very tasty. . All home made with the best ingredients. The children had chicken and chips. And of course baklavas ( beautifully presented in a special dish) and black tea to finish off . The bill was reasonable and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening with our guest from Germany.
The food was lovely, with large portions. The service was very friendly, although a little inattentive at times meaning we were sat without drinks for a while.
