The Latchmere

The touted 'large selection of beers' are mainly bottled and on draught is actually larger which was rather disappointing. Nice staff - even if they were uninformed about the cooking methods - they don't let us in the kitchen! Food was sadly mediocre at best. Theatre was rustic - uncomfortable benches with little leg room and very poor air circulation - but the play BU21 was very good even though the dialogue was overly sprinkled with 'cunt' - does everybody have to communicate through 4 letter words? Never the less I still enjoyed my visit!!

Lovely pub near Battersea Park. Great food with a good menu choice and very friendly staff. A nice relaxed atmosphere all round and could have stayed all afternoon.

Very good food and Service. Always popular so have to book early to avoid disappointment! Plays all the good games but also has a good atmosphere if you want to catch up also.

We had a nice dinner pre-theatre. Food was nice and I don't remember it being expensive.

The food was okay, the meat was a bit underdone for my liking as it had a bit of a slimey texture. Although the Yorkshire was amazingly massive, it had a burnt taste I weren't too fond of.

Great service and food . Theatre excellent and it was great when the actors came and talked to us after their performance . Only bad thing was one drunk female who screamed like a strangled hyena at the top of her lungs every thirty seconds ruining what was otherwise a fantastic night out .

Basically very good and good value Scotch egg starter great Service was speed and helpful and pleasant only problem I had was I was too full to eat all I wanted

Always excellent but food has taken a step up of late. Had the sea bream and fish n chips. Staff were super - genuinely attentive but not ober bearing. Very happy Mother's Day

Great food and service as usual! We always go to the Latchmere as it is our local pub, we love the dinners and drinks. The atmoshphere is always good.

Friendly and attentive staff. Food well presented in clean surroundings. You can see the chefs cooking in the kitchen from the bar which looked professional.

Food was incredible (we had the steak with peppercorn sauce, the burger, and beef roast) and service was friendly enough but quite slow for an early Sunday supper. Wouldn't stop us returning again though!

Super experience. We were 5 girls out for a good night in town, and they helped to start out the night with style. Had super suggestion for a cocktail to start us up with; 4 pornstar martini's, which was a new one for me. Very tasty! Staff were very understanding and helpful about my allergies. As a person with gluten, onion, and lactose intollerance, it can be a challenge to eat out.They had a focus on details of the dish, so I didn't risk having any reactions, and they didn't just take items away from my dish, but adjusted it to suit my special needs and made a special sauce. We had 4 different dishes between us, and all the food was of exelent quality, with eye for the details. Great start to the evening and very friendly and helpful staff.

Their Sunday roast has deteriorated in quality. The Yorkshire pudding was dry, red cabbage was missing and the veg option is now a sad salad of lentils with a spicy gravy which had the consistency of washing up water.

Excellent Sunday roast - delicious pork and beef with enormous Yorkshire puddings! Great atmosphere, wine and excellent and friendly service. We have been a few times now and will be returning.

Good food nice range of different foods fish, and meats. Service good and quick. Drinks from the bar very good from local beers to the well known international brands.

The food was well above the usual pub standard, and there was a good choice of dishes. The staff, though friendly, were occasionally inattentive. We were also originally seated at a table that was very close to the main bar area, which would have made for a noisy evening if we hadn't moved.

Came here last Sunday for a roast and drinks. Atmosphere: 5/6 it was a nice family pub atmosphere, went with a friend it was very good and we felt comfortable. Service: 5/6 The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, would have been full marks if we didn't feel like we were being rushed out. Food: 2/6 We came here because we had seen on social media the giant Yorkshire puddings and we wanted in on that action! The food came very quickly. When the food came out we loved the look of it it all looked delicious. (We had both ordered the beef roast) The taste, however did not at all match up to the aesthetics unfortunately :( We were so disappointed. There wasn't a lot of flavour in general, the veggies weren't good, meat was tough as were the potatoes (these made us especially sad). Even the Yorkshires we were so looking forward to were a huge greasy letdown. So overall I would definitely come back to the Latchmere for drinks we loved the atmosphere, but we will save our money and go to the Sushi Cafe round the corner if we get hungry.

We had a lovely meal, staff were friendly, food delicious, really enjoyed it. Only possible improvement would be that we were sitting by a lovely fire but on the other side was the entrance to the kitchen and the back door was left open so there was a draft, but he pub was really really nice and we would definitely go back.

Great pub, with great specials. Snagged a corner table with Quandoo to sit by the fire and watch 6s. Will be back to the Latchmere.

Even though the place was rammed, the service was friendly & quick. As always, the food was amazing. Especially the scotch egg and the super sized Yorkshire pudding!

The staff was quick serving the food although not too much friendly. The meal was tasteful and nicely presented and the place is beautiful. The toilets were clean and well decorated.

We went on a Saturday night and found it to be a bit noisy and busy when we first arrived as the bar area was packed. The food was all very good although we had to wait for our last main course as they forgot to enter it in the till. All in all it was a very good meal out

Food was great and staff very helpful. Also no problem with dogs. Good atmosphere good place for lunch or dinner. Would recommend as a dog friendly pub.

Great local pub, atmosphere is nice and food is delicious! Been there several times but I advise to book as I gets quite busy on weekends!

Lovely Sunday lunch at The Latchmere. Roast was amazing, especially the yorkshire! Staff are friendly, helpful and polite. No rush from the table either, which was very welcome after the size portion we had! Definitely returning.

Very poor service and food not prepared with enough time to eat it prior to attending the theatre. Do not recommend and we wouldn't bother again.

This is a great pub, good food, great service. Nice that they were showing the rugby and the football so everyone was happy! Roast dinner was great

Excellent Roasts and desserts, service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was great as for gastro pub with people watching the sports around the bar area but not the dining.

The food was excellent and the service was good. Unfortunately the men watching the football match made it a little too noisy. The atmosphere was lovely otherwise.

We come to The Latchmere a lot and it never disappoints. Amazing food and great service as always. We will be back next week again

It was ok. Service average. Food average. Very noisy but comfortable. Fireplace was nice. Would go back for the theatre and atmosphere. It is an institution.

The service was great. Decorations added a little extra for Christmas. Food was beautiful, the pheasant was a little dry, but the other elements on the plate compensated.

Brilliant food, service, ambience and entertainment. Had the two course theatre menu. Staff very friendly and helpful. Really good value for money - will go again.

The theatre upstairs is great, we saw a Sunday matinee at 5pm and then headed downstairs for our reservation. Sunday Roasts were very tasty with all the trimmings: my friend had chicken and I the veggie roast. We were happy and stuffed by the end. Lovely service and ambience.

Really good pub, great food, services and drinks. Made an old fashioned properly (it took ages), they also let dogs in. We will be returning regularly.

Great food and friendly service, fast but not rushed. I had the black pudding scotch egg, pumpkin ravioli and salted caramel sticky toffee pudding, all of which were delicious. Excellent overall, would definitely recommend

Great food and service and really nice atmosphere. 50% off for January which was a welcomed bonus! Visited the theatre at the venue too which was a great night.

The Latchmere is a nice and warming place, where you can eat good food. There's kids place and wi-fi. But the most important is that you can eat cheaper with quality! For me, as a new costumer it was a really nice surprise.

The Latchmere really is an excellent pub - there's a very extensive menu and the food is superb. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be visiting again!
