Beautiful food (as always) , friendly staff. Our favourite local.
Lovely Inn. Great food and service and great value. Will go again.
Very friendly and was good there was the option to have smaller portions of some of the menu options, have been before and will definitely be back!
With all the procedures now necessary with Covid-19 protection, staff coped brilliantly and it was a very, very enjoyable lunch.
Lambs Inn: great to see the pub open again! Thanks...
We have always enjoyed our experience at The Lamb and this was no different except for the Covid 19 measures put in place to protect us all. These measures (and this goes for all eating and drinking establishments) mean that the social side of the experience is less than riveting. However Ben and the staff made us feel very welcome and chatted to us at a safe distance.
Lovely visit, great food, friendly and quick service, no "background" music which was very much appreciated as we could actually enjoy conversation for once, amongst ourselves and with staff
First visit after the great re-open. Great food friendly staff. Loved it
Very good. First day back from the lockdown, the staff did a great job
Curry night - a real treat. Service very good. Perfect evening with no cooking.
Glourious food. New covid measures seem practical and pretty unobtrusive.
Fantastic to see Ben and the team and taste his amazing food again ..service brilliant and professionalism during these times
Friendly welcome by all the staff, lovely food and good portions. We will return.
Decided to try The Lamb Inn as it was out of the way, something new and different. We were amazed. Not only did it take us forever to decide which one of the beautiful sounding courses we were to choose, we could not have been sat inside a nicer environment to do so. Three of us landed on having the Lamb Burger in a Pretzel Bun, whilst the other had the Gammon Steak. Both dishes were like a treat to our taste buds. The deserts were like little drops of heaven, we settled on the Snickers Mess, Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Cheese Board. If you are debating where to go for your dinner tonight, you most definitely should visit The Lamb Inn. You will not be disappointed. Great Staff, Great Food, Cosy Home-ly Pub, Astounding Food.
Have been enjoying the food and service for a few years now I like the fact we can bring along the dog's and the woof down there dinner.
Great food, with friendly staff and a nice relaxed atmosphere

Brilliant as always. Lovely old pub atmosphere, warm and cosy.
Great food, great service, still my favourite pub in the area

It was great, Sunday roasts are always the tops and great service
As per norm- great food and atmosphere. Lovely, welcoming staff. Log fire roaring! Thoroughly recommend the venison curry on the specials board.
The food is always good but this time it was even better. We had a Sunday roast and couldn't fault anything. The service and the staff were brilliant too
Fab Sunday lunch for 4 x adults and baby. Always a pleasure to eat their roasts.
All four of us said the food was amazing in particular the beef Wellington was fantastic, the beef was so well cooked and melted in your mouth 😋 Bob
Food was gorgeous and the portion sizes were great. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food was piping hot and everything was fresh and of great quality.
Always good great service and good food enjoyed the evening
A very appropriate menu offering a good choice for Burns Night. Dishes well presented & very enjoyable. We all should have worn more tartan to give the evening a more authentic Scottish feel.
We had a great lunch, very nice food and a good atmosphere.
As ever, always top notch with super friendly staff. A1

Fab as always but a bit chilly for older people in our party
It was Christmas time so they were busy, friendly staff.
Great food and service. Log fire and Christmas menu was yum.
Met friends for lunch here, having booked a table. We all had The Festive Menu which included 'crackers', all had 3 courses. Really enjoyed our meal which was excellent value for money.
Sunday lunch for husbands birthday, went with our grandson. .
steak pie and rump steak main meals were really good, best meal iv ever had! Profiteroles I didnt like the ice cream in middle- like value iced ice cream. staff really nice. group of locals were quite loud and not pubs fault but a couple sitting next to us the male was talking very loudly about us looking at our phone at end of our meal and saying its not like I poo 58 times i dont get why they on there phones! so strange- very weird people around- anyway we left early. we however would return as good main meals :)
Lovely meal good service but we were cold! So cold!
Lovely food, salmon was really good as where all the veg. Dessert was brilliant Amoretti semi fredo with raspberry sauce!! Staff and service very good. Would wear a warmer top next time as really cold day and despite the fires felt a bit cold where we were sitting.
Excellent food and atmosphere. Enjoyed watching the horses and carts too.
A friend who lives near the Lamb, recommended it and said the food was amazing and the service not so great. We thought both were fantastic. Welcoming, organised, happy to go off menu for my son. We will go back.
Steak in the steak and ale pie large and chewy. Profiterols frozen and on a frozen plate so hot choc sauce cooled too quickly and then not hot enough to melt the ice cream a little. Diet coke flat.
Delicious lunch , friendly staff , very good with our dog - and they just had Admans Ghost Ship Low Alcohol delivered !
