Lovely food nice polite waiting staff. Easy to book online
Sunday lunch - food fantastic but service extremely slow and appeared disorganised starter came with a 1/4 of a slice of toast which was inappropriately small for size of starter when further requested there was an extortionate surcharge of 50p for one slice of toast and then overcharged on what was supposed to be a set price for 3 courses.
Superb Sunday roast. Well done to you all! Can’t beat the quality of that.
Great food followed by a brilliant night of entertainment- we will be back
Amazing 3 course Sunday evening dinner for less than £20. Excellent quality, great flavours and caoy atmosphere
Great service and friendly staff and great value for your money food was very nice
Fantastic home made food, great service. Quality food, delicious meals for the whole family. Can highly recommend. The kids enjoyed all their different choices and one of the best roast dinners we’ve ever had
I have been very impressed by your high standard of service and food. Today was no exception. My friends and I will definitely come again as soon as possible.
Have eaten many times at this Pub / Restaurant. Always great food, reasonably priced and excellent service. It is also dog friendly within the bar area.
I would recommend the food to anyone, the food was excellent but we had to wait about an hour due to it being cooked freocooked fr
the staff were extremely helpful and the food was great I will definitely be back
There were four people in our party and we had booked for 1pm. We were shown to our table and told about all the menus, we all picked from the board. The meals turned up piping hot well laid out and absolutely delicious. we also all had a sweet which again was great, coffees to finish with and all enjoyed the meals and ambiance. Will most definately go again and very soon. A great meal and very attentive hosts, thank you very much.
As usual, the food was good with plenty of choice. The service was friendly and efficient
I'm a regular eater at the Lamb at there hasn't been a time where I haven't enjoyed the food. Service is always great and never rushed. Food fresh and hot and a great price. If you are after a great meal then this Pub is definitely the one. Thankyou to ALL THE STAFF and management.
Very nice food and drink in a lovely old English pub.
The food was excellent and the service was good although personal hygiene from members of staff should be better.
Good meal, excellent Black Forest gateau & all in a good course. Charity night for the Heart foundation 👍🏼
Lovely old pub that I have been using for the last 40 years! Food was good but service was a bit strained .. we were not asked if everything was ok or if we enjoyed our meal at all. Reasonable value.
Food very good. But the tables were sticky and although she did very well there was only one waitress covering the whole pub on a bank holiday friday.
Food really nice But Waited too long for it. ..
The starter & main meal were excellent but very disappointed with the sweet. It was On the menu as fruit trifle but came as a slice. The thin layer of cream on top was ok, the custard in middle was solid & could hardly dig my spoon into it, the base was tasteless and couldn't find any fruit in it, therefore after attempting to eat this so called trifle I left it. When mentioned to the waitress I was told nobody has ever complained before and wasn't offered an alternative. Not sure if I had an out of date slice or not but can hardly believe anybody could enjoy a hard slice of trifle. I Have never had or made a trifle like that before. Very disapointed after a lovely main meal.
Didn’t start well as thought we had booked on line through you but no they said they have no facility to take bookings from you. They very kindly fitted us in on a very busy night. After walking 2 miles that was very lucky.
It’s still the great place that it was when I first went there 50 years ago.
Absolutely lovely Sunday lunch. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Throughly recommended
As a family we have been going to the Lamb for many years and have never been disappointed , friendly staff and a good menu .
Lovely old pub very well presented, gardens to suit the summer weather and an area for children and dogs. Beautiful food and friendly staff, does get busy all year round though, we had a fantastic evening.
