Service very good and food continues to be excellent. Perhaps would have preferred the dining room rather than the bar area but otherwise lived up to expectations. Oh do not like the online booking...asking if I want to invite friends...if I did they would have been included in the original booking!

Nice lively pub with a lot of variety on the menu. 4 different starters and mains ordered and all excellent. Service prompt and friendly. Cant fault out!

Very good service and friendly staff, the food is very good at a reasonable price. The whole feeling in the pub is very good warm and welcoming highly recommend as I we took a 11yr old boy who absolutely loved his Sicillian meat balls ...

The King's Head was recommended to me by a friend and as my son was paying a rare visit to me today and treating me to lunch I thought he might appreciate a new place to eat. We were not disappointed - our waitress was very friendly and attentive and the choice on the menu was so extensive that it took my son and I quite some time to make up our minds. Our meals were delicious, well presented and with interesting combinations of flavours. Will definitely return in future and will also recommend to others.

Excellent food and first class service, staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble, would definitely recommend and look forward to returning again soon

Only the second time we have eaten here but they certainly didn't disappoint. Efficient service, lovely surroundings and the food was superb. No complaints from us.

Best restaurant and pub around. Great food and professional staff. New decking area in garden looks brilliant. Gorgeous pizzas on a Thursday cooked in their own clay oven.

Very busy venue, staff were pleasant and helpful but little forgetful. I did not find it as good as some other places in the area.

Very tasty food and good service considering it was during the Xmas period. Tables a little bit squashed in though. The food could have been a little hotter.

Food was excellent and staff were polite and friendly. My only comment is that the music in the restaurant was a bit irritating - the same song being played again and again! We visit this pub on a regular basis and will keep on coming back. I do prefer eating in the bar area however.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was great, we ended up having a three course meal as there was so much loveliness to choose from. I'd highly recommend!

Good food, great staff and a great atmosphere. Prices are competitive which is a bonus. . Local to us so the location makes this an easy choice.

We had an early booking g so service was good and food very fresh. Sunday roast excellent & good value but my wife's Monk Fish / Prawn dish was expensive for what it was (only two Prawns).

Great food. Place was busy and a few things on the menu not available. Selection was still plentiful though. Service a little slow but staff really friendly and helpful.

The waiting staff were very attentive. Excellent food and very generous portions. I had the omelette which was delicious and very filling. Couldn't fault anything.

The Sunday lunch was fantastic and no skimpy portions! very busy but still excellent service. The only downside is the car park cannot cope and did have a problem with parking!

Food was great as always, staff were very good as usual. Table in a nice place and I was very happy that I was next to a radiator. We felt very full and happy when we left, we will definitely go back again as we have never had a bad meal there.

As always on a Sunday the Kings Head was very busy and consequently the staff were slow to take our order, however our food arrived very quickly. The food was excellent their roasts are the best!

Excellent service and great food at a reasonable price. What more do you need. I would encourage anyone who has not been before to go and see for yourself.

Well and quickly received, despite the fact that a large party had just arrived. Swiftly served with drinks and our food order taken with no delay. Food of excellent quality was served within a very respectable time by friendly and attentive staff. Cannot fault anything which is why we return regularly throughout the year.

The pub was extremely busy and our reserved table was tiny (despite the fact that we are regular customers) and in the main thoroughfare so we left and went elsewhere.

Very nice food. Helpful and friendly staff and they were very accomadating to my gluten free needs. Pub itself is cosy and welcoming, only downside perhaps is the lack of parking when it's busy. Well worth a visit.
