Fab breakfast. Great service. Lovely atmosphere. Will come back for breakfast 100%
Not the usual standard I have come to expect, however staff were fantastic & bill adjusted accordingly, we will be going back as we have many times.
Best Sunday dinner in years. Service was great and barely any wait time. Will certainly be back again and hopefully quite soon as well. Thanks
Service was a little slow considering it was quiet, also several items from the menu were unavailable. The food we did receive was nice though😁
Visited today for afternoon tea for my partners Birthday. We sat in one of the booth’s the service we received was excellent the atmosphere was pleasant and the food was lovely.
Despite the on going work to the dining area, we had a lovely time. Staff were very professional and the food was tasty- portions are huge. Great value👍
Lovely breakfast very friendly atmosphere and staff . Love this place
This is such a lovely restaurant and all the staff were so polite and friendly,we had a roast dinner each and it was one of the nicest that I’ve had!
Good range and quality of Sunday lunch, great service. Meat was very tender across the options. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Table was ready on arrival ( had precooked)
Lovely visit to the Keys again. A regular of ours, great for breakfast or lunch. Relaxed atmosphere, welcoming staff and a lovely outside area- perfect for the summer!
Service was a bit slow despite it not being that busy. Menu had no salad options in an extended period of hot weather. Some staff seemed inexperienced or not fully trained
We had good service despite a busy restaraunt, one of the meals was sent back due to not being as required and was corrected with an alternative All enjoyed food and atmosphere
Last minute decision to eat out and decided to to go to The Keys. Excellent service and lovely food would most definitely recommend to others.
Wonderful meal, carefully and beautifully presented. We would certainly go again ! The service was very good , the staff attentive and friendly. I had succulent belly pork with the crispest of crackling - so nice !
Lovely atmosphere, food delicious, the keys is the ideal place to be - right in the centre of yarm ,helpful staff would definitely go again
Our food took ages to come and when it finally came one of the meal was forgotten and then it wasn’t what we ordered. The service was average, they didn’t bring cutlery, etc.
Lovely evening at the Keys. Food excellent as always and also very friendly service from Robyn, our waitress. Haven't been to the Keys in a while but we enjoyed it so much and will definitely be back soon.
Lovely surroundings and staff, Sunday lunch, veg just warm, meat a little chewy. Not sure we’d return for lunch . We may try an evening or alternative menu before we right it off
Very nice Sunday lunch and reasonably priced for the food, the wine was a bit pricey for a house wine though. Would visit again in the future
The starters were superb but avocado and prawn salad merits at least one slice of brown bread and butter. Our mains were not so good. The penne pasta sauce had separated leaving the dish full of oil whilst my partner's belly pork was chewy in the extreme and certainly needed the steak knife provided. Our comments were noted by the waiting-on staff and no charge was made for either main course. This gesture was not what was expected and certainly made us think that the business cared for their customers. We will give it another go and hope for a better experience.
Lovely enviroment . No waiting for our table. Good serivce and the food was perfect. We both had meals from the specials menu and would do so again.
Great service and good food - would recommend the roast pork - it was delicious - plenty of veg and creamy mash potatoes - will definitely be back!
Especially recommended to have lunch at the terrace on a sunny day. Nice atmosphere and awesome food. Main dishes are really big. It is worth visiting.
Not enough staff to deal with number of people and not being able to pay bill at the end in full but paying for drinks then having to pay seperate for meal just because sat in garden! Summers coming so not good
Dom the waiter was 5 *****plus. Kitchen no rice and no salmon very disappointing long wait for food Bar staff took an eternity to serve drinks
Friendly and attentive staff, food ok, good pint of black sheep. Apparently I was fourteen words short of an acceptable review but I couldn’t think of anything else to say.
The service was dreadful: too slow and laid back considering how busy it was, however when we eventually got our food it was very nice
Lovely meal, friendly attentive staff celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary. Stayed for drinks afterwards but the music got a bit loud for us as we couldn't hear each other and ended up conversing by phone!
Had a lovely meal and great service. We were offered the pre-theatre menu and told meals would be prioritised in the kitchen to ensure we were in time for the show. All had pork medallions which were delicious.
A bank holiday Sunday very busy but very well managed Great food as always. Lovely friendly service and very helpful and patient Pleased with my visit
We waited nearly an hour for food and then wasnt that good on the plus side they gave us a free drink to apologise .
Disappointed. Booked online for breakfast, however on arrival we were told that we were unable to have breakfast as too busy on the run up to lunchtime. We were given a free coffee but had to ask for that first. Shame as we have been before and enjoyed it.
Excellent service.. prompt and efficient. Food was delicious and hot, would definitely recommend and we are planning a further visit on our next trip to Yarm.
Dogs now welcome, with two children scared of dogs, lunch was a challenge. Food and service both ok. I'm not sure if there is a dog-free zone but it would have been nice to have that option.
£12-99 for a Sunday dinner which was lukewarm and mediocre. On the other hand, £4-99 for Eton Mess which was delicious, but I’m afraid we won’t be dining there again.
Meal with friends, 6 of us altogether, and everyone was extremely happy with their food. Staff were attentive, we would definitely go again and will recommend the Keys to others.
Met there for a family celebration, staff were attentive, polite and made suggestion to the more indecisive in our group. Food met expectations and we all had a great time
The food was lovely, the staff very friendly and attentive. Surroundings very nice. Just not keen on having a tv in the booth where we were eating. Unnecessary and distracting. Will request a seat witjout a tv nrct time, of which there are plemty avalable. Overall very nice.
Food lovely,, staff pleasant but the thing which let it down was how slow to get drinks because they came when we got food so no time to have a drink before food came,, we had to ask to order!
We had a lovely meal here food was really nice staff friendly would definatly return Starters more than enough as a main meal we were full just of those we chose mussells and bread basket our mains gammon all delicious
The service was very good, lovely staff. Food was good also. Would be a good venue for a party. Offer a good variety of meals.
The restaurant was immaculate, the service was friendly and warm. The food was of a very high standard and served very efficiently. We will definitely be returning
A lovely meal with very helpful friendly staff. Sunday lunch was lovely and there was plenty of food. Will definitely return for Sunday lunch again.
Went for breakfast - Lovely atmosphere and very relaxing. The food was very tasty. Really quick serviced, order didn't take long to come at all.
Booked online, quick and easy, got a reminder a day before asking to confirm. We had the most amazing afternoon tea. It was faultless. Food was lovely and fresh, scones were warm. Delicious selection of sandwiches, and mini desserts. We couldn’t eat it all. Asked for the remainder to be put in a doggie bag to take home, which was no problem for the staff. I will certainly go back, lovely place and staff. A lovely treat for my daughters birthday. Thank you x x
Food was great but table allocated was noisy and disrupted by staff entering and leaving the kitchen. We asked for change and a table was found after someone had cancelled. Staff always pleasant and attentive.
Arrived prompt at 6.15pm. Whilst staff very polite the time to get a drink and order food was far too long-we barely got our starter & main course eaten when we had to leave to go to a show at 7.45pm. The food was poor-my wife had prawns & avocado for starter which clearly did not see much avocado! The main courses being battered fish for me-fish fine but sloppy batter inside not good- whilst the chips tasted ok-they were a bit soft and oily. My WIfe had Haloumi burger-not good again chips not great. First visit to the Keys very disappointing -but will go again and put this visit down to experience.
Nice meal, however service was a bit on the slow side. The decor is very good and it certainly is a comfortable place to dine.
Very good food at a decent price. Good service and overall an excellent experience in an underrated restaurant on Yarm High St. All 4 of us enjoyed our meals and we will be back.
Waiting times were long. restaurant was busy and quite noisy.
