We love this pub!! Steve and John are exceptional hosts who run and efficient and very friendly team. The food is always great and the atmosphere is welcoming, bright and relaxed. A real must if you’re in the area.

Starters were good but the Sunday roast was your average pub Sunday roast. Nice setting in a conservatory. Will go back but in the summer for the regular menu.

Nice place for a roast with plenty of pram space, nice roast and ice cream. Not amazing but it was tasty and comfortable. Would recommend for families with young children for Sunday lunch as everywhere else nearby is rammed and loud.

The Sunday Roast was expensive. You can get a much much higher quality roast for the same price. The potatoes were so over cooked they were barely edible. The staff are really nice.

Fabulous Sunday Roast as ever. Range of meat and veggie options with a never ending supply of gravy. Great service! I would highly recommend this place!

Had a lovely night at the Jolly Gardener. We ordered all different things and we were all jealous of each others meals. The house burger was amazing. The fish and chips were delicious. And the teryaki salmon was out of this world. Will definitely be going back!

Great food, very good service and reasonably priced wine list as always. This time I had the butterfly chicken breast which was a work of art. Definitely a local favourite.

We had a very enjoyable meal, loved the croquettes starter which is delicious and we had the chicken breast and the steak for mains. It also has a very reasonably priced wine list. Will definitely be coming back!

Great food, excellent staff and perfect service. Garden table provided ideal with today’s sun. Had a fabulous burger and a bottle of the house white and couldn’t fault either!

As always it was really nice food. This is the third time we've been for food and drink and its always fairly chilled out and relaxed venue.

Always met with very friendly and attentive service whenever eating at the Jolly Gardeners. The Food is usually very good too. I had the fish pie this time which was delicious. The wine list is a wee bit on the restrictive side but yielded a very nice Pinot Noir. The only negative thing about my visit last Saturday was a large birthday table making an ear piercing amount of noise. The back dining room at the JG is normally quite noisy and I don't usually mind but this lot ended up screaming at each other whilst playing a drinking game which did spoil the conversation at our table towards the end of the evening.

Great service and food - this is consistently the best pub burger by miles. Nice to have separate dining room just behind main pub area.

Sunday lunch. Visited Jolly Gardeners for my birthday with family (7 in total). Atmosphere ok enough, service good (nice staff), but food menu and actual food uninspired. Half decent pub grub at best. If you are in the SW18 region check out Earl Spencer pub. Solid venue and food comfortably a notch above

Slightly disappointed with my first trip to the Jolly Gardeners. The food was ok but took ages to come and then had to be sent back as it was cold.

Staff were very attentive and accommodated us although being quite busy. Nice small garden out the back which is lovely when Sunny. Roast chicken was good

Not what we expected and were recommended as far as the food and menu goes. We had received good feedback and ventured out on a Friday night however, this gastro pub was less gastro and more pub food. Whilst the food was nice and the service was reasonable, the pub did not meet out expectations!

Roast beef was great as always. The staff were very accommodating of the three children we had with us however I didn't think the options for the children were great. I had my two year old and ordered the chicken and chips. The chicken was very tough and fried. I am sure it would be fine for an older child but not great for the younger kids. Overall a great lunch though.

The A la carte menu is not available mid week but we had a sharing platter which was delicious even though the ribs were a little chewy. The staff were very friendly and efficient, Nice wine well presented.

Great food always and great service. It is also within walking distance of where we live. Go there and try it, you won't be disappointed.

Great food friendly staff, will definitely visit again! Would have liked slightly more variety in terms on the main courses, however the cheesecake was to die for.

Roast chicken was good. Veggie burger from the specials board was disappointingly not a burger but some vegetables in a burger bun. Service was great, will be back.

Good service, nice staff. Unfortunately the pulled pork was very disappointing. The pieces of meat I could find were good, but the dish was entirely overwhelmed by a gloopy sauce. I won't be attending a lunch booking again, but heard good things about the evening
