Disappointing and definitely didn't feel like the food of a MasterChef winner. There was nothing special about the food itself, and the waitress didn't even know who Druv Baker was when we asked her if he was cooking that night.

Great food and service as well as venue and garden. Perfect for a summer evening. Would highly recommend. Aperol and espresso martini also a bonus!

For a restaurant overseen by a master chef finalist it was not to the standard you would expect. Just above average pub food, certainly not gastropub

The food was very tasty, but the menu seemed smaller than usual maybe 1 or 2 dishes short. The starters were very tasty and the mains coked well. Service was friendly and attentive.

My wife and I went for a meal on Saturday night, we really liked the informal comfortable feeling in the dinning room. The wine and food was lovely, particularly the whole lemon sole. The service was very attentive topping up our glasses without interrupting our conversation. We'll definitely be back

Very good food and very good service. They have a lovely garden area and I hope to return for lunches there and have them outside when it's sunny.

We went for Sunday Lunch -23/7. Greeting pretty good but bit of a struggle thereafter. We all had roast beef which was a generous portion of quality meat cooked as requested. It was rather let down by the roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding which were not crispy or hot .Other veg fine. All 3 of us agreed on this. Wine reasonably priced. The beef was £19.95 from memory and thus at the upper end of local pricing. At that price we would need reassurances re potatoes etc before rushing back

we have been many times to the Jolly gardener and so my expectations were reasonably high. I had the sole with sapphire and rosemary potatoes. the Sole was overcooked, the sapphire was bathed in butter, so much so I couldn't eat it and was given an unnecessary amount of potatoes that could have literally fed a family of 4. I was really disappointed.

Excellent friendly & informative service & delicious food - my husband had the beef burger and l had the spicy chicken burger and we shared chips - coleslaw (made with red cabbage) - tomato salad - fennel salad. Could not have had a better lunch time experience on our 26th Wedding Anniversary! Surprised Pub was not very busy on a Thursday lunchtime. Pub was recommended to us by family members. Will go again.

Exceptionally good service, food cooked to perfection, great atmosphere and decent wine list. The place is run well by a dedicated team who pay attention to detail. Nice beer garden - it would be nice to see this separated into "smoking" and "non-smoking" sections, so that those of us who do not smoke can enjoy the spring and summer.

The food at the gardeners is amazing, friendly service but not too intrusive. The restaurant feels like a pub dining room not too rigid, no table cloths and the bar was buzzing. Great value two/ three course menu wednesday and Thursday. We have been a few times because of the delicious food.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere, attentive but unobtrusive staff, fantastic food & a good wine list. There's a brilliant bar attached & lovely beer garden with heaters.

We went for the New Years Eve dinner and celebration, and had a fantastic time. Very friendly and helpful team. Amazing food, really creative and original, especially the braised lamb. Great wine. All round a really great evening. The team have transformed JG's since they took it over - well done!

Overall great experience. Had to change my booking slightly when I needed to add more people to my table and found the staff very accommodating when ringing up the day before to arrange this. Service was very good when we were there and food was great. Only criticism was that with the roast chicken there was a bit too much stuffing and not enough chicken. Would, however highly recommend The Jolly Gardeners to other dinners.

Food and service was really good. Went on a Tuesday so wasn't really busy. There was only 6 of us so we could order off the a la carte, but we probably would have ordered off the set Christmas menu anyway and would have liked a Christmas fracker :-) maybe our fault for not specifying it was our girls Xmas meal out!

Really good food. Excellent steak. Would expect more than standard fries (possibly out of a packet?) - triple cooked would have been more appropriate for the fine quality of the meat. Good service. Ok value for the food. Good value on the wine list. Would go back.

The pub is lovely kept with a nice garden. We went on a Sunday and found the menu to be disappointing- no bbq available, which on a sunny day is a shame, and the only roast option was beef, which on a Sunday is a shame. My beef roast was lovely, the sides and gravy yummy. My partner had a pork belly which, when arrived, my other friend enquired whether he was on a diet... We were given no dessert menu, so overall left hungry and £95 lighted for 2 roasts, 1 pork belly, 4 beers and 2 coffees.

Lovely roast beef Sunday lunch, with nice crunchy Yorkshire pudding and tender beef. The starter of a modern version of coronation chicken was also very tasty.

The service wasn't up to scratch for a restaurant with a masterchef name attached. We were surprised to find there weren't any starters offered for a Saturday lunch, nice for a simple meal but nothing more. Other than the a la carte meal it really is just pub grub.

We both had ravioli to start and the lamb. I don't think I've ever tasted anything so delicious. both courses. but the lamb was the best lamb I've ever eaten. Awful to say, but driving past baby lambs over the weekend, It was all I could think about!!! Also a bottle of Prosecco, which was a very good price and wonderful....

The Jolly Gardeners is a great pub - our local in Earlsfield. This was the first time we've eaten there and I couldn't recommend it highly enough - it's a different class from even some of the best 'pub food' in the area - this is proper, fresh ingredients, unique recipes, beautifully presented and not overloaded with carbs. They even managed to cater for my vegan sister. The service is always excellent - with staff always on hand to top up your drinks.
