Always come here. Been faultless every time. Helpful staff and very polite. The carvery was good all the veg’s were piping hot and the meat was great

Brought a friend along as she had never experienced the carvery breakfast. She was, of course, suitably impressed and will be returning with her friends and family ASAP.

as a great lover of all you can eat breakfast it was ok. plates and food could have been hotter and the the fried bread would have been better with the bread being thinner and a little less fat. Beans were a bit tasteless. Will try again soon

Absolutely fantastic meal, booked for next Sunday, couldn't fault it.the staff were lovely and the restaurant was so relaxing, hubby and I had a great time.

Excellent food, excellent service, lovely friendly atmosphere. I chose the regular size carvery which was plenty big enough but for £1.50 you could go large 😳no need for that. A nice regular menu too. Very reasonably priced and I’ll Definately be back.

Best. Carvery. Ever. Best book up as it gets very busy but it is so worth it. Breakfast carvery at the weekend and on bank holidays is also seriously good.

9 of us went on half price monday .5 had the mixed grill 1 surf and turf, 2 beef lasagne and a fish and chips Brilliant portion sizes and really good food

Had Sunday lunch here and food was beautiful. Plenty of veg choices and 4 kinds of meat. We sat at 12 o’clock sitting so was not so busy. But I think later sitting would be much busier. Will be going back again.

Meat was very tasty and plenty of it . Most veg fresh but carrots dry and presentation not to usual standard such as not refilling as soon as empty .

We had the carvery. The meat was very dry and the vegetables were very over cooked. It was so our first visit and our last.

An excellent meal after some confusion finding my booking the staff could not find it on their computer although I had confirmed it earlier in the week. I will ring and book in the future to make sure we got a table not rely on email booking

One of the best carveries I’ve had, excellent value for money, wide range of vegetables, no restriction on Yorkshire puddings, friendly staff. Can highly recommend.

Food good. All had the carvery. Pork a little tough and broccoli overcooked but otherwise ok. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Toilets in need of a makeover.

Welcoming staff and reasonable carvery for the price. Good sized car park, so plenty of space to park the car. Set off major road for easy access.

Inviting attitude of staff is great. The food is extremely good. There's always a very good selection of Vegetables. Plus, most drinks are reasonably priced. Overall it's a Great Place to eat...

had a great time with my family,we all had the carvery and it was one of the best carveries we have tasted.the meats on offer were really lean,plenty on the plate, all the veg was cooked to perfection their was nothing to complain about.the tables were really spaced out and being a big guy I felt really comfortable,i would like to say a very big thank you to all the staff for making us really welcome,can not wait to return again,martin.

The pub has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, and good service, we had the cavery which was lovely, meat and veg plentiful and cooked perfectly. We liked the fact that the tabled were reasonably spaced. We will be going back.

The food and atmosphere was lovely and tasteful. Nicely decorated for Christmas. I also liked the nice touch, following the request for balloons as the "event" was for a birthday.

Good service and very good value for money. I had booked a table and we were shown to it promptly. Our sweets did take rather a long time to come but they apologised for the wait. I will certainly go again

Carvery was very good , good selection of vegetables to choose from. Lovely selection of puddings if you wish to have afterwards. Staff friendly and helpful.

Spent over £70 and the plates where cold and 3 chipped I pointed this to the waitress who said I will throw them away when you've finished I replied that's what you told me last time I was here her reply "OH" don't they know germs breed in chipped plates not very good I have been there a lot of times but it's really going down hill the food wasn't very hot and with the plates being cold the meals didn't stay hot for long it was my birthday and the whole visit was disappointing

First time here at 6pm on a Sunday and surprised how busy itted was. But then again you do get a good carvery with plenty of choice at a great price!

We all had the carvery which was lovely and good value,restaurant has a warm homely atmosphere,staff were friendly and helpful but the toilets need some attention and were freezing.

Very nice food, sat over by food this time quit hot :( however can never fault the food at all! 3rd time in week having food at island pool

The usual excellent carvery. Really like the large choice of vegetables and that they aren’t coated in butter, along with a choice of roast, mashed or boiled potatoes.

Service was good friendly staff. Food quaiity ok but meals quite small. The carvery looked very nice but we chose to order from the menu . Prices good Wil definitely visit again

We have loved this restaurant for years and often go in, this time we booked a table for two, arrive, seared ordered food and drinks only to be asked to move table for another party, no please, thank you. So we moved table only to see a party of two have our old table. We got our lovely carvery and I asked if there was any sauces (as non had been put out) so I wait for the sauces to have the same woman put the sauces out with a " there" comment as she bangs the bowels down. It's a shame such a lovely place with fantastic food has staff with attitude like that.

Really enjoyed my meal here today will definitely return. Really nice staff, really nice food and really nice atmosphere. I had a carvery and everything looked and tasted very fresh and perfectly cooked, followed by a peanut butter and chocolate stack for desert which was recommended by the gent from behind the bar, not something I would normally order but so glad I did as it was absolutely lovely. Would definitely recommend a meal here.

Awesome. Ignore any other local eateries who may claim to serve the best carvery in the area. THIS is the, hands down, best carvery in the area. Weekend and bank holiday breakfast is also brilliant.

Really good carvery meal. Excellent choice of vegetables which apart from the cauliflower cheese are not buttered or in a sauce. Staff really pleasant and helpful.
