This is a wonderful inn with a friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We arrived half an hour early and they were very accommodating. The food choice was great and arrived quickly. Can honestly say it’s probably one of the best restaurant Sunday dinners we’d ever had. Very thinly cut beef, cooked perfectly medium and all accompanying vegetables were delicious

Lovely meal on a Monday evening at a welcoming location.

We were the only group in the dining too at the time, we met up with family members. As a result the service we received was personal and couldn’t be faulted. We hope to meet there again as it is roughly half way between us all.

Very polite and attentive staff, food was absolutely delicious, lovely ambience.

I have no doubt that this inn restaurant had been rushed off its feet all day what with it being mother's day. In fact we couldn't get a reservation until 6.00 pm. In saying that the roast dinner was superb and looked/tasted as delicious. Full of flavour. Next time we intend to stay over so we don't have the drive home!

It's one of our locals and has been transformed in the last few years by the owners. Friendly, COVID-secure even though very busy with good pub food, livened up with daily specials including fresh fish of the day.

So happy we found this pub/restaurant. Recently reopened and all S.D measures in place to keep us safe. There’s a garden too if you’d prefer to eat outside. Food was all cooked freshly and was tasty. Will go again.

We loved our Sunday lunch today. Very walk and welcoming atmosphere with very friendly attentive staff. Food was delicious. We can not fault it and will be booking to stay over for a weekend very soon.

We really enjoyed our stay and we were upgraded to a bigger room which was lovely. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Our lunch and evening meal were both very good. If there was anything not so good it was the breakfast as my first choice, was not available (kipper) so i ordered the vegetarian option, There was a long wait as apparently the chef needed to make more bubble and squeak and when the breakfast arrived it was not very hot and a bit bland.

Friendly, flexible staff and a solid roast dinner. One of the party had a lactose intolerance, all menu options were sold out however the chef made a great effort to accommodate (Turkish fig sorbet, who would have thought)
