2nd time to the pub, this time took friends and they enjoyed just as much, service great , and food very good

Overall good, but I’m a vegetarian are they brought me chilli with beef in it

Graet food and beer served at correct temperature with an eye for detail on what constitutes a good pint and when it is not. Cloudy pint was immediately replaced!

Thank you for a lovely first visit on Sunday. The front of house team were absolutely amazing, and very accommodating with our sausage dog seating us in the dog friendly area and fussing over him. Our Sunday roast was delicious and we would highly recommend anyone to pay a visit. We already can’t wait to come back in the New Year. Thank you again & Happy Christmas to the whole team.

Great food & service, staff very attentive. However where we were sat was pretty chilly. Diners nearby ate with their woolly hats on!

An all round lovely experiece, complete with log fire and good beer

The staff were excellent and really professional. They went the extra mile. The pub is lovely and well spaced out. Love how dog friendly they are. Food was tasty but the beef from the beef dinner was not good.

Fabulous meal, fast, polite and accommodating service followed by delicious food. Just perfect.

It was quite early in the evening 5.30. The place was quite and a little cool so atmosphere wasn't great, the waiter and staff where very polite and nice, the decor is lovely! Menu is small but good, unfortunately my partners food was warm on the outside but hotter inside, but she and I like our food piping hot, it wasn't to cool to complain though! Overall very nice but would go at peak time next visit!

Attended with my daughter and grandsons one of whom was celebrating his 8th birthday. The staff were brilliant and made a fuss of him. Food was excellent.

We were actually staying at the Horse & Farrier , when we arrived in the restaurant we were greeted warmly , seated promptly & looked after really well by our friendly waiter , who was very knowledgable with the beer , wine & food on offer. Food was lovely !
