Best Indian restaurant ever....The food was totally amazing. Great atmosphere and staff really good. Will definitely be coming back here and recommend to anyone to try .
Fabulous food, lovely service and we will definitely be going again. We all ordered something different to try and everything was perfect from the soft shell crab starter to the goat curry. My kerala fish stew was delicious and the lamb shank was tender and in a lovely gravy. At last the Imperial Hotel has upped it's game. Recommend a pre dinner glass of champagne in the gorgeous bar upstairs.
Fabulous meal and excellent service. We especially enjoyed the poppadums and chutneys and the starters of chicken and lamb kebab started and the Goan goat curry.
Was massively disappointed as cook and eat lots of Indian food. We'll meaning staff and ethos but food poorly spiced, too fried and heavy. Both myself and partner found issues with digesting food after the meal and had uncomfortable night. We eat at places such as the chilli pickle in Brighton and would suggest owners have a trip there to taste their menu. Had looked forward to the experience and regretted eating there which was a shame.
The food was good and tasty, but the service was dreadful. We waited almost an hour before getting anything to eat! We loved the little appetisers, but sadly they did not make up for the delays. We had booked well in advance so the restaurant were well aware that we were a table of 12, but it seemed that no provision had been made for us. We were just abandoned after the main course, no one asked if we wanted desert or coffee. Judging by all the clattering coming from the kitchen, they were obviously keen to get home!
Wonderful atmosphere, food was delicious, and beautifully presented, staff friendly and helpful, highly recommend! Food unique and authentic, defiantly coming back with my friends and family.
we had a great night, food was good quality, all questions answered and explained by waiters that new the food they were serving. The attentiveness of the management was a bonus.
Great resturant and a real twist on the high st Indian. Food and service was fantastic. A bit strange being right next to health club but the decor was typical indian and we really enjoyed.
Good service, excellent food and nice atmosphere. Menu was very different to usual 'run-of-the-mill' indian restaurants - the ingredients were listed and all elements cooked from scratch. Pricing was moderate and worth it. Would definitely recommend for a small party or larger groups for special occasions.
The food is bustling with flavours, the staff are friendly, welcoming and very knowledgeable about their food and where it is sourced and tradition behind it.
Great service, great food and a lovely atmosphere. We were a party of 10 and all served with piping hot food at the same time.
Lovely restaurant - service excellent, food wonderful and different from your usual Indian but tastes very good. A very enjoyable experience. Wished we lived nearer so we could eat here more often.
This was our first visit the added benefits is to visit the champagne bar on the upper floor prior to our meal, we enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere was good with plenty of other groups filling up the restaurant.
