Great food, great service and a lovely place to be ....... 10/10 from me and I'll be back very soon. You won't be disappointed at all.

We took a Journey back in our history to The Hind's Head pub & Restaurant, where we frequented 40 yrs ago. The service was excellent- Our steaks were scrumptious and presentation beautiful. A great flash back experience for Us. We will return soon. Mrs Elizabeth Taylor.

We received a warm and friendly welcome. Staff were very helpful and professional. The food was great and lovely surroundings. Definitely recommend eating here at any time of year.

Excellent food, good atmosphere and mainly friendly, helpful staff. One sullen waitress let it down. Otherwise it would have been six. Would recommend and will definitely be going again.

Well from start to finish everything was wonderful the service the food couldnt fault anything, lovely open fire to sit in front of with a fantastic gin and tonic with muxed berries fantastic will certainly be back 👌👌

Very good menu, excellent service and food is always good and piping hot. Staff are friendly and helpful. They also have a very well stocked bar including lots of Gin.

Great food and nice, friendly atmosphere. Lovely risotto. I had the chicken and chorizo and my husband had the seafood. Both really nice. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our first visit to the Hinds Head - what a find! The service was exceptionally friendly, efficient and quick. We were made to feel very welcome. The food was also delicious!! We'll be back!

Absolutely amazing service was fab roast was delicious! Would definitely recommend! Not overly priced either for the quality and service you get! Was very busy even for 5pm but not one fault about the whole experience!

Absolutely fantastic, a warm welcoming feel when you walk in. The place looks fantastic and the staff and food are as equally brilliant as each other. We will certainly be back and recommending here.

Staff were very welcoming. Good variety to choose from on the menu. The atmosphere was really nice and the food was absolutely delicious!! It’s been a long time since I’ve had such a nice chicken liver pate. My boyfriend had the chicken skewers to start and they were to die for!! We will 100% be coming back!

Been for last 2 Sunday’s and it has been lovely. However, this evening was Not at the normal standard of presentation and taste of food

The service and food was excellent but would suggest you finish your drinks before paying the bill as that was the only downfall of the night. Paíd the bill and asked to leave the table 😞

Starter and main were quite nice, something was wrong with the lemon meringue pie- texture was like porridge and 2 of us couldn't eat it. They knocked it off the bill but tried to explain away that it was fine- not great service really. Expensive compared to similar places with better food. Wouldn't rush to go back

Starters, Mains, Desserts... amazing!! Absolutely nothing could be faulted. Staff are very friendly too! Lovely cocktails, beers & Gin! Will definitely be returning on a weekly basis.

Our 1st visit. Service was very good, no rushing with just the right amount of “attentiveness”. Food was delicious hot and our little “quirks”catered for. A refreshingly welcome experience.

Meal overpriced for quality. Not asked if needed additional drinks. After coffee again not attended to and had to approach bar to request bill .

This was the best restaurant that I have been in for a long time. The staff are very professional, the food worthy of Masterchef winners.

The rating would have been 5 but for the singer. The food was fantastic, the choice, the taste, and the service. However, at about 9.15pm the background music was replaced by a slightly louder live singer, who, by the way was quite good. During the rest of the evening fellow diners, who obviously knew about the entertainment, moved into the main room to listen to the singer, who got louder and louder. We had booked our meal for 8.30pm and wanted to talk but couldn't. We will make sure in future to go back on a 'no entertainment night'.

Family birthday celebration - three generations. We enjoyed great food and the friendly Service. Will definitely recommend to others - already have done and return!

Great atmosphere, delicious food, friendly staff. We would definitely recommend. Very affordable. Sitting in front of the fire on the comfy settee was a nice touch.

Everything was great! We arranged a surprise birthday meal for my husband. Some of our family were quite late but the staff were really accommodating

Great food and hospitality as always. I would recommend that you book a table beforehand as it does get very busy, especially at the weekends.

We had the steak which were both cooked to our satisfaction, although mine did have more fat than I would have liked. Chips and veg very good and tastiebut not enough, sounds like we are greedy but we are not big eaters. The sweets were excellent no complaints there. Overall good but vfm? Service was very good, restraunt clean and tidy with a nice atmosphere.The Guinness, Bacardi and Coke was great

Beef excellent as always service spot on very good value for money. Would definitely recommend and the new menu is brill give this place a try .

Excellent meal all 6 of us enjoyed the night out. Couple of dishes came with wrong accompaniments but were quickly rectified with apologies. Staff very pleasant and attentive. Would recommend a visit.

Lovely food, the garlic bread with feta and red onion is to die for. The staff are really pleasant and would definitely recommend to anyone.

Service first class. Food excelent as usual. We were initially were seated next to a large noisy table & staff noticed we were having difficulty in hearing each other so offered us a different in a quiet area. This was done before we had chance to ask so this was a first.

Delicious meal, friendly cheerful staff - a good night was had by all! We will certainly be visiting the Hinds Head again in the near future.

Food was nice as usual and staff friendly and attentive. Only grumble is that the wait for our order to be taken was longer than what I would consider acceptable however the waitress did apologise for taking so long.

Excellent menu including breakfast menu. Great atmosphere with great staff who strive to offer great service. Love the beer garden with stunning views. Well worth a visit.

First visit to this pub, choose the pub after driving past on fishing trips and noticed it was always busy Six of us dined at 1pm , it was really good faultless I had Black/White pudding starter which was stunning, followed by Fish and chips which was excellent The rest of the family all enjoyed all of their meals, will definitely visit again

This is a very special place and the food is absolutely amazing - the food would not be out of place in some of the best restaurants in London! The owners are so enthusiastic and welcoming as are all the staff. They have a wide range of gins and other drinks offerings that are scrumptious. The restaurant is really lovely with all personal touches that make it so nice spend time in. We viewed but did not stay in the guest rooms which have recently been created and they are fab with John Lewis furniture. The beer garden at the back is stunning too and overlooks beautiful countryside. Well done Kev and Adam you are doing a fantastic job!

Food was excellent and very good value. Staff were attentive and regularly checked on us to ensure all was ok. The only negative point is that one of the waitresses was unfriendly & although she was good at her job she was very unwelcoming.
