Had our lunch at the Hinds Head to celebrate my 70th birthday,it was lovely.Food delicious service and atmosphere was great.Will go again for lunch,prices very reasonable.

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere and good food. No rushing and easily booked on line. Helpful and polite professional staff. Will definitely recommend and return in next couple of weeks.

Been back here 3 or 4 times now. Pleasant staff. Meals always fresh and looking like thought has been given to the preparation & presentation. Prices competitive at this point in the bistro-pub range. Will undoubtedly visit again.

Food and service was excellent. I had monk fish with curry it was really nice and good value my partner had the fish pie and enjoyed. Well worth a visit we will definately return.

Welcome roaring real fire on a bitterly cold night. All the food the four of us had was excellent and particularly pleased with the way they handled the dietary needs of my daughter, who's on a vegan diet for health reasons.

Excellent food at reasonable prices, well presented. A good selection of foods on a great menu. Live entertainment provided later on Saturday evening. Rather noisy atmosphere but overall a very professional experience. Will definitely visit again

Great food and service and a good menu plenty to choose from whilst not the cheapest the quality of food and presentation more than makes up for it

Nice ambience, excellent food, nice staff. The only dissapointment was the waiting. An hour and 10 mins before we finally got our meals. We had to be pro-active for everything afterwards, constantly flagging down staff to order dessert, drinks, coffee, the bill etc. The restaurant isn't that big and there didn't seem to be a shortage of staff so I would say that they probably just need to be more aware and focussed on their customers needs. Other than that quibble, we enjoyed the experience.

Good menu, lovely food, good service. Nice atmosphere warm and welcoming pub. Will visit again and sample more of the menu. Hopefully have room for a pudding next time

Fantastic meal - we had fish pie, steak and sticky toffee pudding between us. Can't wait to return to try the rest of the menu.

Lovely friendly staff, and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend it and are already planning our next visit with friends. Only problem was, there was no room on the car park!

Bar man was very professional. Front of house staff very knowledgeable and welcoming. food was spot on and not exspensive. Had to wait a while but was worth the wait.

Fantastic four as usual - I had fillet stroganoff and my husband had lamb the food here is amazing. For desert I had strawberry cheesecake and my husband Mississippi mud pie which was very good - this place is outstanding!

Absolutely incredible lunch that I had! Steak was cooked to perfection, blue cheese sauce was to die for and then followed off by an amazing Mississippi mud pie!

Visited on a Saturday evening and arrived slightly late. Table was held without an issue and the staff even made a joke about it upon our arrival. Food was excellent and service matched. Would highly recommend and will be returning.

We enjoyed our first visit. We experienced Excellent service and a welcoming, warm and friendly atmosphere. Will look forward to going again in the near future.

Fantastic meal as always. Lovely midweek treat. Would highly recommend the King Prawns for starter and Venison Steak for Main followed by Warm Chocolate Fudge Cake for dessert. Delicious!

The food and service were excellent. We had to wait for the food to be cooked but a refreshing change from the warmed up vegetables served by so many places. On a cold wet day it was warm and friendly.

Lunchtime with a friend. Pate and chicken skewers to start, stuffed chicken and chicken and chorizo risotto followed by lemon roulade and too many lattes :-) Delicious food with excellent and pleasant service.

The food and atmosphere was really good, however the Chicken curry was a bit sweet for my liking. Apart from that I couldn't fault it!

Food is delicious hot and served timely. Staff have the right level of attentiveness and politeness making the atmosphere have a warm comfortable feel, nothing is to much trouble.

Menu choice extensive plus chosen food was delicious. Service and ambience was also excellent,thank you...will definitely recommend. For the style of pub, maybe a more extensive type of beer should be offered? Just a thought...

We had booked a table for 8:15 but the place was busy and we didn't get our starters until after 9:00pm. They did apologise but it still seems a long wait, we were all starving by the time they came. The main courses were good and we never had long to wait for drinks.

Food comparable with other pub grub but I was expecting more after reading other reviews. Make sure you do not get a table by the door on a chilly evening as it blows a gale when someone enters.

Another great meal. The service was excellent and the food was fantastic. Would recommend the roast beef, was fantastic. The pie of the day looked great also.

The food was absolutely delicious food and piping hot . The staff were so friendly and attentive - wonderful service ! A very very welcoming atmosphere and the open fire was amazing .
