Had a lovely pre-theatre meal hear. Friendly service, lovely food and great value. Oudave been a six but they were very slowly w bringing the coffee which we didn5 have time to drink- but the Manager was very obliging and found two takeaway cups! Would definitely go again.
Excellent food and music. The staff couldn't do enough for you. I shall be returning very soon to further sample their delights! Thank you once again for taking care of us.
First time here. Food very good and service. Music good too. Will definately be back. Had the cod which was delicious. Great atmosphere. Easy to find
good service and good food. Also bonus of live music on the night.Great hotel and restaurant, very friendly and helpful staff, attentive at all times.Room clean and comfortable
Thank you to The Harrogate Brasserie for a great service and lovely food that we had before heading to the theatre. Added bonus of live music.
Good food, well cooked and excellent service. A thoroughly agreeable evening enhanced by the piano player. I would recommend the Brasserie to people wanting an unpretentious meal in pleasant surroundings offering good value.
Great service and food, it is our third annual visit as a family and we always thoroughly enjoy it. There’s been a few changes and it’s not as quirky decoratively as it used to be, which is a bit of a shame, but it’s still excellent surroundings and the live music an added bonus.
The Harrogate Brasserie: Lovely, great friendly staff, fab food, cosy relaxed atmosphere, really enjoyed it! And easy to find in the centre of Harrogate, definitely recommend.
another very enjoyable visit. only one whinge, please bring back the hut at the front. we will be retuning when the summer arrives and we will place an order with the management for NO rain.
What a fantastic night out. Excellent food choice, we had the prawn cocktail, main of chicken Kiev and sticky toffee pudding. Excellent table service. Music was provided by an excellent jazz trio headed by the brilliant sax player, Tina. A night to savour and repeated in 2019.
Lovely food and atmosphere. Not sure if we had been nearer to the live music we would have been able to chat though as it seemed quite load in the other room. Highly recommend a visit.
I spent two hours here for lunch with friends and enjoyed it immensely. The food was lovely, chose from the normal menu and the staff were very attentive.
Very friendly and approachable staff, room albeit a little tired was clean and comfortable. Hotel is in a fabulous location to explore the very attractive Harrogate
Lovely Xmas work dinner. Excellent food from the Xmas set menu, large portions but not too over faced. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The price of the wine wasn't silly, overall a great night.
All the starters were excellent All the main courses were excellent All the desserts were excellent All the drinks were excellent The ambience was excellent
Friendly service and great food. The waiter was happy to help with my dietary requirements and the meal was excellent. A short but good wine list. Relaxed surroundings. Definitely one to return to.
It was perfect for an atmospheric but intimate dinner , with good service, excellentt choice of food and very tasty nice choice of drinks, and all reasonably priced.
Disappointed in the menu ,no specials .Our table at the back lacked atmosphere, table behind us was loaded with clutter and boxes .Food average I had chicken Kiev no flavour and bone dry ,veg very poor and small portions .Not the fabulous restaurant I have visited previously
The food was good but no atmosphere. We had brought friends with us on the promise of a great place to dine. We waited far too long for our starter considering the place was nearly empty and this was followed by an even longer wait for our main course. The manageress Sue was surly to the point of rudeness but agreed that it is not what it was and said they are closing as cannot make it work. Such a shame to see what was such a vibrant and happening place so changed. Very disappointed.
Really enjoyed Saturday evening but Sunday night was a bit of a disappointment as half the menu was unavailable as they said they where very busy the night before. Food was good but not what I really wanted to eat. Would not go on a Sunday night again.
I rate this restaurant 6 not 4 I have eaten here before food is really good especially the lamb . Atmosphere is fab and the staff go the extra mile. But really it is all about the food.
The staff couldn’t have been nicer about the fact that we were running late thanks to heavy traffic on the motorways running north. We had a lovely table and even lovelier food. Another great evening at the Harrogate Brasserie.
First class in every respect. Ate from the early bird menu and the quality and presentation of the food was matched by the excellent service. Will certainly be going back
Five of us had lunch at Harrogate Bistro on 9th October. We all enjoyed our various starters and I think we all had sea bass as a main course which was excellent. The staff were very helpful and courteous I think we stayed longer than we should as we were having such a good time but they didn't complain. The Brasserie is one of my favourite Harrogate restaurants. The prices are reasonable too. Suzanne Harrogate
Food generally very good. Excellent presentation. Cod was a little bit under cooked for my liking and we were served a tiny portion of cheesecake would be main criticisms of food. Service was friendly but a little bit slow at times.
Great food, but appalling service. We thought our starters had taken long enough to come, but a good 30 minutes after our starter had been cleared away, we had to ask if our main course was coming. Then we had to wait while they cooked it as seemed to have been completely forgotten. They weren't even all that busy so why no one had noticed that we were still waiting, I don't know. Our table was booked for 7.30 and we got our main course at around 9.10. The system they use in the kitchen obviously needs an overhaul. No one apologised either or offered, say, a free dessert or drink to recompense for the long delay.
Brilliant restaurant. Great ambiance. Attentive and friendly staff. Delicious food. Excellent menu choices with ample portions. We always encourage our friends to visit and enjoy the experience.
My sister and I had the Market Menu before going to the theatre. It was excellent value and the food was of a very high standard. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this restaurant
A repeat visit that maintained the quality and pleasure in both food and service. We look forward to visiting the Harrogate Brasserie restaurant again on a future visit.
Booked Sunday lunch for 1.30. When we arrived we were the only customers!! No atmosphere. Meal disappointing, did not taste freshly prepared. Will not be returning.
Excellent service, terrible situated table right in front of the bar. Food mostly good but the calves liver, which should be so tender when cooked pink, was like boot leather. Would return but would definitely request a better situated table, think this was the worst in the house. We were with friends, it was our treat, so did not make a fuss about the particular dish which was not good.
Good food and excellent service. Lovely atmosphere and pleasant surroundings. Great for early doors theatre meal and wine. Will be visiting this establishment again soon.
Excellent food in quirky surroundings, would definitely go back again, staff pleasant and helpful especially for my vegetarian wife who really enjoyed the evening. We must try the jazz evening.
The food and the service were very good. We will came to the restaurant an other day because we really enjoyed the food. Thank you
Great meal and attentive staff . Highly recommended . Hope to return soon . I had chicken . My husband the lamb . Lovely surroundings
Beautiful food very reasonably priced. Excellent service and a good ambiance. Quirky decorating made the place feel quite unique worth a visit would definitely recommend
Absolutely perfect food was amazing and at an amazing price I would most certainly come again and what a bonus 2 pints of Landlord the icing on the cake I can’t believe I managed to book for a Friday evening
Great food friendly service what more could you ask, and if you are going to the theatre its almost on the doorstep, so great location too.
Not the best unfortunately. Feel that the place has completely lost its atmosphere/ ambience since takeover by brewery. Decor, or lack of it, did not help. Used to be a great place☹
Great service, friendly happy staff and wonderful menu. Add great interior and ambience.... excellent occasion. Outside seating ideal for warm summers nights and cosy inside for autumn winter.😀👍🏻
Definitely a place to visit if you like good food and live smooth jazz music. Our meal was excellent and the service faultless. The Harrogate Brasserie never disappoints.
It’s changed hands to Timothy Taylor’s and lost it’s charm. The food was average and they have taken the live music out in the week. No atmosphere at all.
Great service from staff who were attentive but not in your face. An extensive menu to choose from, everything we chose was top notch in flavour and presentation all in a relaxed but classy atmosphere. If you've not been then it's one to visit.
Great food, nice people, really enjoyed the meal. Just a little bit slow taking dessert order but it wasn’t really a problem. Thoroughly enjoyable night.
Great choice of food that was well prepared and tasted fantastic, and the atmosphere with the live music was perfect for a relaxing Sunday evening.
The menu has some interesting choices, ham hock starter was excellent. I think lamb and venison main courses at £18.50 is quite pricey. New decor looks good.
Really nice experience. The food was great and we loved the decor and ambiance of the bar. Great music. Soft and gentle as we ate and louder later, but at a good level
This was a return visit as we enjoyed it very much last time we dined at the brasserie. However this visit was disappointing, no ambiance, only another couple dining in our dining room, food was average. Nothing wants to make me go back
Been dining here when in town for about 10 years, it’s offers a consistent standard, but this time it’s cooking was better than the recent average. It had a nice relaxed Brasserie Cham with friendly staff. Not sure about how they have treated the outside seating though, too many tables so it looks like a canteen.
My buddy and I booked in for a Friday evening chilaxing meal and fine San Miguel. Excellent service by knowledgeable staff. Music by Tina and her duo provided the music all night, talented girl.
