Food and service was excellent, good selection from the menu and the staff were very helpful in advising one our party who has nut and egg allergies on what was on offer.

Friendly staff, great food, good service and good price. Excellent value. Thanks. Oh and didn’t rush us when we left quite late which was also a nice touch

Great food and the service was excellent as always. Would highly recommend for a business lunch or family meal. The Gregory burger is a favourite

The meal was reasonable, not poor but did not really make you want to want to say I must go there again. The service was really slow and what should have been a quick meal took almost an hour to arrive and no one came to ask if everything was ok once we started our meal. Could be a really nice place if they placed a bit more focus on customer service.

The Gregory is half way between our friends and ourselves which is why we chose it but we were plesantly surprised by the friendly service and good choice of food. We will book again.

Lovely food, good sized helpings. Started with Ham hock tourrine followed by chicken breast and Lyonaise potatoes. Service a little slow but not enough to detract from the lovely food. Prices moderate. Surroundings very pleasant. Good parking.

Easy to book a table online. We went for the Seventh Heaven options and were very happy with the meals, Gammon, Egg and Chips and a Burger and Chips. Just the right amount for us. Staff were very polite and helpful. Beer prices quite good. Tap water provided at the table. Only thing was that the room could be a bit warmer. Other than that, all was good.

The Gregory has great food and great service in a charming setting. The Sunday lunch offerings were varied to suit all appetites, and the meals were presented with style. Will return!

Disappointing first time at The Gregory with friends. Lots of space. Nicely decorated and well presented environment. But doesn't meet the image projected on their website for fine dining - falls a long way short - more like a good pub. Served by a school lad who was very shy and out of his depth - hardy what to expect from fine dining. Two other gents served drinks and took the order didn't seem all that interested. asked for the gluten free info but never received it. No notes on menu choices about GF options. If its fine dining your looking there are many better options. If the pricing was more in line with normal pubs then this would be an okay place for dinner. Poor value for money. Shame as it looks nice from outside and website is great.

Friendly helpful staff, plesant atmosphere, well laid out tables with plenty of room. Our visit was on Fathers Day and had a special menu on, fairly good choice at reasonable prices. Well cooked food. Will return next time we are in the area.

Lovely space for dining. Staff are brilliant. Food was average pub food. Needed to salt everything; needed more flavours. Medium-rare steak comes out very rare. Wouldn't take much to boost it from average to above-average on the food front

We went for Sunday lunch. Menu has improved from last time, options other than just Sunday roasts. Bread served before meal is now a mini loaf, far too much. Food average, service okay. Lacked atmosphere today, maybe it was just because it was quieter than normal.

The food took more than half an hour to arrive, despite the fact that we were the first customers through the door at twelve, we specified that we only had an hour for lunch and ordered just sandwiches and soup, a part from one person who had something else

Great disappointment. Front of house staff were not particularly attentive or welcoming and service was very slow. Food could best be described as ordinary. Had high hopes of an enjoyable evening when booking was made but was underwhelmed by the experience. Will not be visiting again..

Very nice overall. Inside is very decorated and themed very well, not a great deal of curb appeal from the outside though. Staff were very welcoming and attentive. The food was ample and tasty and served nice and quickly.

Food was excellent. Very reasonable prices. Staff attentive and very polite. Enjoyable dining experience in very nice surroundings. Disappointed with the garden. Not well kept and outdoor seating has seen better days. A shame as a lovely courtyard area but neglected. Ladies toilets needs some areas of work. These 2 areas let the place down

Disappointing. Long wait between courses. Starter nice, main distinctly average - cold plates, overcooked, dry sausages and sides were cold. Won't be returning any time soon :(

We had a roast chicken dinner which was very nice. The only downside were the roast potatoes, they had obviously been previously cooked & then reheated but not very well. Otherwise everything else was good.

Nice building and room but just a bit shabby - one of the chairs was broken and the others wobbly and had fabric hanging underneath. Friendly service but slightly casual e.g. Having said I wanted a glass of wine I had to ask for a wine list which had to be specially fetched. Limited Sunday lunch menu but the food itself was very good and good value.

Brilliant food and atmosphere, good selection of drinks but felt we were a little ignored towards the end of our meal, to the point that one of our party had to leave the table to find a waitress so that we could order desserts. If we hadn't have had to do that I would have given this restaurant a perfect rating

Sunday Lunch at the Gregory, Harlaxton. The food, wine and service was very good, and really good value. I have eaten at the Gregory on a number of occasions and would have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

Beautiful place with a roaring fire, good food but very slow service. Disappointed to find the weekly deals were not being offered for December but were on the website. Big paper menus and candles on the table dont mix, one of ours caught fire, offered a fresh menu but didnt clean up mess from the burnt one and we got burnt fingers putting the fire out as it was flames!! Rethink health and safety there i think.

Comfortable and very well decorated room. On main road but little noise intrusion and no noise from rest of building despite being above restaurant. Good food. Not impressed with Dualit tea/coffee maker but alternative hot water readily supplied. Also, only one coat hanger provided. Staff friendly and helpful.

It was pie night tonight which means you could order the pie of the night & a drink for £9.95 you could also order off the main menu too. I had the pie, Chicken & ham but they also had Pork sage & onion or a vegetarian option. It was very nice.
