We enjoyed our meal at The Gregory, we both had sausage & mash with caramelised onion gravy, it was delicious. The staff were attentive & courteous which helped make for a pleasant evening. Definitely recommend it.
Lovely meal, service good. Duck dish was a strange combination which i wouldnt choose again but my family all enjoyed their meals. We would go back.
Had Sunday lunch and it was ok not great. £3.95 supplement for beef!! £0.50 for a Yorkshire pudding!!! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Toilets in need of some upgrading
First time at The Gregory, will definitely be going back. Sunday lunch was very nice - good food and atmosphere. I had Sirlion beef and Brownie.
Great atmosphere friendly & helpful staff but most of all the food was great
visited for the first time on Saturday evening and it will not be the last. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. It all made for a great evening as we met friends who had travelled down from the Lake District and we were not rushed at all although the restaurant was fairly busy.
Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, wonderful staff. Service can be a little slow but the food is worth the wait. Nice to just sit back and relax. :)
Very good range of options for a lunch time, reasonable priced. Lovely atmosphere and a warm welcome. food was very delicious and obviously cooked to order with fresh ingredients (not left overs form the weekend like you get in some restaurants). overall a very pleasant and delicious lunch
Convenient location as the group was staying in Grantham. Warm welcome from the staff and professional service. The stilton panacotta could have been improved with more stilton but the 'pub style meat pie' was superb.
We like The Gregory but on this occasion my husband had to take his beer back as it didn't taste very good, they replaced it no problem. Then we started eating our food, (sausages & mash) my sausages didn't seem to be cooked enough, they were still pink. The waitress took them back & the chef said they were at the correct temperature but they would cook me some more or cook me something else. I asked for the sausages again but for them to be well done, this time they were much better. We don't normally have a problem at The Gregory, it just must have been an off day they were having.
It was a really nice meal with excellent service. It has an relaxing and warming atmospheric lounge, nice on tap beers and cider, and a wide range of choices for the more adventurous drinker.
Lovely atmosphere, staff friendly and attentive and most of all food very good. I would have rated them a six but on this occasion only a five because my mashed potatoes were only just warm.
Good menu, very difficult to decide what to eat. When we eventually did ti was all well cooked and excellent. Service was very good and friendly
Great service and greater food the gregory really is a place to go and relax in comfort and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere within the restaurant
This was our second visit to The Gregory. It's reputation drew us there the first time. It is a pleasant environment for a family meal. The food was delicious, the proportions were just right, and the presentation was to a high standard. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout the duration of our visit.
The food was good although lacked a little imagination especially regarding the vegetarian dishes. Service was pleasant enough but a little slow and intermittent at times. The Gregory itself has a relaxing atmosphere and staff were friendly.
