Food was excellent as always. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the didsbury area. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. We had christmas crackers as well.

Love the place food is fabulous staff are great and it my favourite place 👍👍👍I would recomend it two anyone every time we been it been outstanding.

Dry chicken, clumps of rice stuck together, weird service, rice and nan served 5 mins after chicken. Had far better for less money Barinda in Wilmslow is the one.

Always love the atmosphere and staff....the food is the absolute best.....we have been coming for 30 years. ....it's part of our family....we will always come back

A group of 5 of us come here every 2 months or so and have done for years-always great food and service and place is always buzzing-always best to book or you may miss out!

Food was delicious. My mom came to visit from Canada. She absolutely loved the curry. Best she’s ever had. We’ve been back twice to have dinner this visit.

Very tasty food, great service and very good if you are gluten free (clearly labelled on the menu and the manager really knew what I could and couldnt have in terms of contamination etc)

Poppadoms tasted like they had been cooked and stored for a long time. Naan bread stone cold. Too many hands touching food. One good point, chips were ace 😡

As good a we remembered. Well worth the trip back for a special occasion. The staff were amazing and the food was fantastic. Highly recomended

The food here is always amazing. The Makhan dishes are incredible and so rich. Huge portions (we always end up taking half home!). Service is really attentive and the staff are friendly.

A great old favourite, we will keep coming back. Fish Tikka was great as always as was the Chilli Chicken. Fantastic Lamb Pillau, and naans excellent too.

The food was excellent and there was lots of it, the wait staff were very attentive and we asked if they could hold of bringing the main course because we’d all enjoyed our starters so much, which they did, we all appreciated that.

Fantastic food and service as always. The lamb chops are delicious and the best I have ever had. The machon chara is a fantastic fish and one I always have.

The menu is truly extensive : every meat, a wide range of fish and a big vegetarian range. Service is attentive, helpful and efficient. All at very reasonable prices.

From the beginning we were made to feel welcome and staff very attentive - it was my fathers 79th birthday and they brought him a cake and candle at the end of the meal - we also we able to have a doggy bag to take home the food we has been too stuffed to eat. We all had a fantastic tie and my dad had a great birthday! Thank you Katmandu!

Top night and very accommodating for 12 of us at short notice. The food was brilliant and it's a perfect location with the Burton Road Tram stop being close by.

The Kat was back to its best. Great food, first class friendly service and reasonably priced. One of the best meals out in a long time.

Usual great food and atmosphere along with the service and reasonable prices. Always a great night and much better than the hassle of Rusholme and parking issues

Food was tasty, but nothing special, a fairly standard menu. However the service was poor, waiters were grumpy, and we'd barely sat down before they were asking to take drinks orders. When we asked for more time, they just loitered and returned 30seconds later.

I booked a table for twelve for a joint work leaving event. A very cold and snowy Wednesday night became a jovial banquet. Plenty of dishes to choose from, never rushed and very prompt drink replacements for the two to three hours sat together.

The food was great and service were faultless, we took friends for New Years Eve and we all really enjoyed our evening, would high recommend A*

Food was good but portions were small for the price. The service was awful. It felt as soon as we sat down the waiting staff wanted us to pay and leave so they could get another table in. The whole evening felt rushed and there was no attempt of staff giving any sort of smile or willingness to serve. Absolutely awful

Brilliant as always! Love chilli paneer, jingha tandoori, keema peas, takha dhal. Plus a Kathmandu beer. Staff are fab too. Have been going there for 18 years.

Excellent service and perfect food. This place gets everything right from quality of food, consistency of presentation and flavour and choice of wine. A lot of similar restaurants can do hot spicy dishes well as the GK does but none can present the mild and medium choices with the same unerring skill in the balance of the sauces and cooking of lamb and chicken.
