We ate at the Great Kathmandu with friends before going to a concert. Couldn’t fault the food, it was all excellent. Service was prompt and efficient.

We are regulars here and normally it’s great but tonight was a bit disappointing. The starters were quite slow coming and 4 out of 5 arrived with a good 5 minutes before the 5th came. When the main courses came out we waited 5 minutes for the rice and they took one main back to rewarm I presume? New staff?

Was OK but I've had better , had to cut end bits off prawns .The pompadoms were good

We haven't been to Great Katmandu for a few years. It used to be one of our favourite restaurants but we didn't find it as good as before. The food was mostly very good, but none of the three of us liked the paneer we ordered as one of our starters. It tasted burnt and the edges were black and hard. The other disappointment was that the mains were not placed on hot plates like they used to be so they curry was cold by the time we finished it. The staff were great as usual, very efficient and made us feel welcome, but overall the experience was not amazing as it used to be a few years ago so we will probably try somewhere else next time.

Lived in the area for over 15 years and this was my 1st time trying here (and boy was I not disappointed). They do, do a takeaway service will I will definitely be using as my new go to for takeaway curry. But this night we ate in, and everything was 1st class, from the staff, to the service & the food, everything myself and the party ate was top notch, 10/10 would highly recommend
