I couldn’t fault the meal. Service & food 100% for it all I can honestly say I have never tasted food as good . As our was Definitely will be going back . Compliments To the chef 👍

The whole experience was delightful. The staff were welcoming and informed, the food excellent. Beautifully presented and delicious in every way . The meal was leisurely as all is cooked freshly to order, however the time between courses was more than acceptable. I will return !

Lovely venue which I have visited several times before. Once again, lunch did not disappoint. The beef rib was the best but of red meat I’d eaten in a long time. Gorgeous dessert. Really nice and friendly service too.

Great food, friendly service and lovely atmosphere at The George. We turned up early but that was not a problem for them and we were greeted with a warm welcome.

This is one of our favourite pubs and it didn’t disappoint. The food was lovely! Sunday roast and delicious puds. They were busy, but that is to be expected on Father’s Day, so we had to wait for our food, but we didn’t mind.

Excellent and friendly service. The menu was interesting and our meals were of really good quality. Great wine list, we had Tinwood Brut from a local vinyard. Very COVID secure.

A gorgeous lunch spent sitting in the sunshine.. seating was sheltered. Fish, chips and beer! Doesn’t get better than that!! Good to be back...

Lovely food, good size portions and friendly service. The staff worked incredibly hard during our visit as the pub was really busy being Sunday lunchtime, and yet they all remained helpful, friendly and obliging throughout. The one thing that could have been improved was our weather but sadly that was out of their control!! We will definitely be back.

Error in starter order (however we were happy to have what was brought to the table) but over an hour between starters cleared and main delivery......I get people are extending their dinners as they have to eat with drinks but we were hungry!

Greeted at the door by a lovely welcoming landlady we will be visiting very soon even though we live 30 minutes away l wish it was nearer.!

Sunday Lunch: Great Pub. Due to COVID-19, there is not as much general chat between staff and customers as normal. But the staff are very friendly and we want to continue to support our local Pubs.

Lovely ambience, happy and helpful staff, Covid aware. The loveliest pub I’ve been to in a long time.
