Excellent food in a beautiful setting as our table was in the garden. Great service too.

We had a lovely meal & service was good , & the staff were friendly & helpful. Maybe a tad slow between starter & mains especially as one if our group didn’t have a starter so they where hungrily waiting for there dinner. We sat opposite a door from the garden & people came in to use the toilets & on occasions walked a bit close to our table. Didn’t use the toilets so can’t comment on social distancing etc . But hand sanitizer was available for use as soon as we walked in and the front door was open . There was a door marked exit for social distancing purposes. Thank you George at Eartham .

Such a lovely pub and the food was fantastic also a great selection of gins too!

As usual, the food and general ambience were excellent but this is the 3rd time since October that our service was slow- we appreciate that good food is freshly cooked but the time frame is excessive. The staff are polite and friendly, the decor and all other elements are very good but the wait is too long for each course. So disappointing. PS we would have liked a Christmas menu so near to 25th!

Sunday lunch once again was excellent... service is always quick and friendly and the food arrived quickly, piping hot. Our favourite place to spend Sunday lunchtime.

Unfortunately the vegetarian pie ( which was good) would have been even better if it had had all the filling!!

Absolutely love going to the George for Sunday lunch. The staff are exceptional, customer service is outstanding. We have a small dog and they are always so welcoming with her, giving her treats and making a fuss. The food is amazing, just love it. Thanks for another amazing visit.

We had a very good meal on the Pie, Dessert & Pint for £15 Thurs event. Unfortunately there were few other diners so atmosphere was not good and thereby diminished our enjoyment. Lovely pub and food and may go again

Dog friendly (spoilt with biscuits) and people friendly! fantastic roast we were served quickly and the Sunday roast was fantastic our request for extra gravy came immediately and the staff were friendly welcoming. The portions are very generous so if you like a warm welcome fab food and lovely surroundings then this is your place!

Staff were perfection, lovely dining area. Food took a long time to come and one meal did not contain as was listed on the menu.

As usual the food, service and ambience was great. Looking forward to returning soon for Pie and a Pint on a Thursday evening with some friends.

We were a party of 6 on what was a very busy Tuesday evening . While I was a little disappointed in my meal ( I had had it before and it was excellent) the rest of our party had good quality meals and the staff were delightful. Good atmosphere and good value for money . Would highly recommend.

We have been to the George many times, & as this is my father inlaws favourite we thought we would treat him on Fathers day. The service was brilliant, but the food on this occasion was not as good.I know it was a busy day for them (Fathers Day), but the beef was a bit fatty & veg etc not as good as normal.

We all had a wonderful time for my Mum’s 85th Birthday. We always have a great time, thank you!

Lovely Food but bit disappointed with the wait for food, menu does state possibly upto 45 mins but we waited over an hour because of a large table. Staff were very apologetic and did bring us bread with oil & vinegar but when you book for 12:30 and don't eat until 1:45 it does put you off from returning. Our meal was an anniversary meal for my parents and relatives from Australia so I felt a little embarrassed as I arranged it all.
