Took a long while to take our orders and the food wasn’t that great.

Fantastic service. We went for the set menu, 3 courses for £30- amazing value and great food Will 100% be coming back

The ambience was great and the staff were very polite. The food was really good but the highlight of the night was the amazing cocktails and dancing the night away in the cocktail bar. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

My Main Course Steak was very good but my BBQ Prawns on Toast for Starter was too dry, it needed a Sauce. The Live singer was good but a little too loud for Dinner. The service and Ambience was great, I will certainly return and recommend it.

Unfortunately the service was very slow which is a shame as it’s a nice venue.

Really great atmosphere would definitely go back. Slow on the food and drink that needs a little improvement but once we received them it was worth the wait.

Very welcoming Great bar staff on hand before dining. Better for a group of friends catching up. (Too loud for a date night). Live Music sounded great. Once seated: Waited half an hour to get any attention. Very busy waiting staff. Food was lovely. I would go back Complimentary drink after dinner before home.

Disappointing night. Asked for wine list or drinks to be brought on numerous occasions and nothing happened. Staff was so rushed off their feet they were unable to deliver a high quality product. Has so much potential. Loved the decor and layout but overall experience left us feeling it should have been a better night.

There were obviously problems effecting service as we witnessed waiters and waitresses arguing and getting stressed. The wait between starters and main course was far too long. The waiting staff were not attentive and we were not offered any drinks. When the mains came out they came out with the wrong sides. One of the mains was fish that should have come with new potatoes. When we pointed out that the potatoes hadn't arrived and the fish was going cold the fish was taken away. When the potatoes finally arrived we then had to remind them about the fish - which when it came back was completely dry as it had been put under a heat lamp. At this point we asked or the manager. Not sure we actually saw the manager, however the person that we did see didn't really seem that interested with our issues. On the night we went there was a singer who was really good - the problem was that a huge P.A speaker was put in the dining area and the sound was so loud you could barely hear each other talk. There seemed to be a lot of Senior staff walking around looking important - but they failed to deal with the obvious problems that occurred that evening. We were not the only diners to wait along time or be served the wrong food. All in all my view is that the Gallery is more interested on how it looks rather than the quality of the food and more importantly the service. The reason we asked for the manager was that it was obvious that the serving staff were struggling with whatever was going wrong and could not apologise enough - In my view it was not their fault and therefore didn't want to raise my disappointment with them. Definitely will NOT be going back!

Beautiful setting and decor but the music and volume needed to be more suttle. The cocktails were on par with the best i've had and the food was great however a little on the salty side. The staff were spot on.

Amazing restaurant! Everything was 5 star. The food, drink, the service, entertainment and the overall dining experience. There’s a champagne/cocktail bar upstairs too which is handy if you want to have a few drinks after your meal. Will definitely recommend this place! I will be back soon. :-)

Overall we enjoyed the visit. Prices were slightly on the higher side for the location. But the food quality was good. The service was great until it was time to go. The bill took about 15 minutes to arrive after requesting and then food that shouldn't have been on there was listed . I also had to take the bill to the counter to pay as no staff member came over after another 15 minutes.

Its a lovely local establishment which you would only expect to find in London. The food is cooked to perfection, the atmosphere is warm and friendly and the staff are very attentive. The Sunday roast which was delicious, also been for dinner and few times and always had a lovely time.

The staff were pleasant but not managed efficiently. The restaurant was clearly run poorly.

Had such a lovely chilled out night at this restaurant ended up sitting at the table hours after we finished a great meal.. makes a change not to be rushed off your table! And so lovely to hear a piano being played, reminded me off a old school east end pub.. 10 out 10 to all the staff and thanks for the drinks on the house... means a lot !!

It is a lovely restaurant and beautiful decor. Food was good and the bar upstairs. Very busy as it was a day after Valentines Day Just found it a bit overpriced.

Was not made aware when booking that it was a set menu night, this would have been ok if there was more non-fish plates, my boyfriend does not eat fish but luckily had the chicken for main and that’s it. However the food we did have was delicious and the drinks were perfect aswell, staff were very helpful, just wish a heads up would have been given about menu

Second visit and just as good. Friendly service, and great food. Varied menu choice, we had a perfect fillet steak! Wine choice and cocktails also great. Only ask is that you improve seating in the downstairs bar area, it would be nice to have big comfy bar stools at the high tables ( the upstairs cocktail bar was busy and a bit loud for us older guests!) so it would be great to have a version downstairs. We’re so pleased to have this as a local decent independent restaurant where it’s good to dress up!
