Nice ambience and helpful staff. Average food , very limited veg with Sunday lunch (carrots, boiled potatoes , broccoli and roasted red onion) . Very small portion of halibut for £19.95 without sauce making the meal a little dry , but nice starter and the Sunday roast was quite good.

Great food. Staff attentive. The restaurant is modern and comfortable. We had the lamb and chicken as main meals and couldn't fault either. The sticky toffee pudding was lovely.

Really impressed with the new decor. My starter was lovely but the main course was average and the vegetables that were served were very disapointing especially when you consider that there is so much good local competition. Sweets were OK & it was nice to see some local ales available. Staff were attentive if a little inexperienced.

Always liked the position of this restaurant my first house was just down the road bought in 1971, under its latest owners it is beautifully refurbished, the staff were pleasant and the food excellent Sadley it was lacking atmosphere and physically chilly.

The low score is given as i ordered fillet of cod which was disappointing as it had three large bones in it,i would suggest when advertising fillet of cod to make sure as much as possible that it has been filleted .The service was slow considering there were just 4 tables the night we dined, we sat in the glass extension which is lovely but got cold as the autumn night progressed, maybe time for the lovely log fire to be lit..I can imagine the restaurant looking lovely @ Christmas

The food was excellent, hot and very tasty. We didn't have to wait long for it to arrive from taking our order. The only thing that we felt that it had lost its atmosphere from the lose of the little touches that the perious owners had.

A nice quiet evening. Service very good, the starter soup and the lamb main course were excellent. The cheesecake was ok. Haven't been here for some time and the refurb is very impressive, however was a little cool and the low lighting in the glass annex made it difficult to see what you were eating .

I was very pleasantly surprised. We opted for the set menu as it was mid-week and have to say we found the food delicious and very good value. The children's menu was also exceptionally good value. We will be visiting again soon I think.

The Four Stones has been refurbished and has a new owner. It now has no atmosphere and is very noisy even though on a Saturday evening there were empty tables. Service wasn't great, food was ok except for the "turbot" which was returned and replaced with another dish. Four Stones was always busy with a regular clientele, not sure what they are trying to achieve here unless it's aimed at their customer base at West One, Hagley.

Loved the decor and refurbishment, really lovely and big improvement on how it used to be. Good choice on menu, food could have been a bit hotter! The portions also could be better out of the three portions of cod we had there was a big difference in size, one was very tiny, I'd say a child's portion. Lamb was good. The big let down I'm afraid we're the staff, they just didn't seem to have anyone in charge and a lot were just standing around behind the bar talking. The bar was completely full of empty wine glasses and bottles and looked terrible. We had a long wait for our drinks, forgetting the water and just having to keep asking for everything. Long wait for food too, the staff were busy but just seemed to carry one item at a time, e.g. One small dish of potatoes. More training given and I'm sure you would have a lovely business. We would return perhaps in a few months and hope they have got there act togeather.

Excellent restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who looked after us. We went for the three course meal and including drinks worked out at £32.50 a head. Every where was very clean. Being a ex restaurant manager my only advice would be get some trays to help the staff transport all the food and drinks to the table. Looks more professional then. Will be back.

Beautiful renovation of the building, a friendly and efficient welcome, selection of food very good, with good set menu, plus A la Carte, and then separate fish options. All the food ordered was excellent , myself and my wife had drink on arrival, three courses each , half a carafe of the house white (my only negative comment would be the wine could have been slightly more chilled, but a pretty minor comment)and coffee to finish, all for £77.00, which we consider to be fantastic value for money. Will definitely return and will recommend to others.

Usual weekend meal out. Not been here before, and I have never seen this restaurant advertised, in fact don't know anyone else who has visited. Just up the road from "The Fountain", which I know serves good food. The Four Stones decorated nicely inside in a lovely setting at the bottom of the Clent Hills, Parking could be an issue, I found the last space in the row of cars opposite the venue. The food was really lovely, at a reasonable price. Would come here again.

A prompt welcome and quickly settled at our table. Service was very efficient. We chose from the set menu. There were sufficient choices to find something we both liked. My Serrano ham croquettes were very tasty and my husband's pate was nicely presented. Both mains were very good. The spinach and goats cheese cannelloni was delicious. A very pleasant evening. We will go again!😀🍷

We enjoyed a freshly cooked tasty meal. The restaurant has been completely refurbished and is more modern in decor than before. We sat in the conservatory which gave us views over client hills. The Staff were very friendly and efficient. Very good value for money. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening
