Excellent food and excellent service. Will be returning in the future . Makes a lovely setting for both a celebration or less formal meal. Highly recommend to everyone.
It was our first time here and it certainly won’t be our last! The food was delicious and very quick to come out. Staff were lovely too and made sure everything was to our satisfaction.
Good food ,Good service,Pleasant surroundings. Had lovely relaxed family afternoon with family will definitely go again. Recommend especially if you like fish But Sunday roast Wes delicious
Fantastic food the roast duck was amazing .lovely atmosphere and friendly staff . Will definitely be back . We visited before the refurb and last night was the first time back since then not disappointed they've done a great job 👍
Been going to the 4 stones for s few years now, so another great night. Great food, great service and not overly expensive. Shall definately be back.
The perfect place for a Sunday lunch after walking the hills. Lovely food and great service. The team even made my daughter a combination of food just so she could have yorkshire pudding! Thank you!
Restaurant was lovely food excellent lovely staff. The only let down was the price of the drinks. Well done to the lovely staff. Thumbs up to the chef. Would def go again.
Good service, good food, and good value. Lunchtime menu was a bit limited, especially for my vegetarian friend. The ‘lite bites’ all sounded a bit heavy. Would definitely try it again, maybe an evening booking next time.
Friendly service, relaxed atmosphere. Food and plates hot and meals tasty. Good value for money. We went here following a long walk up Clent and it was an enjoyable end to our day out.
Great location and were wecolmed warmly. Food was lovely but service was a little disorganised. Think staff need a little more training regarding service. It was a quiet night but felt the waiters/waitresses were a little flustered.
Amazing food, amazing staff. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely go here again. Cannot recommend enough. Sirloin steak was amazing but with the Stilton sauce was even better. Xx
Really great food and excellent service. Couldn’t fault anything on the day. Will be returning there soon as I’ve already made my next booking. Thank you.
Fabulous food and friendly staff who were very attentive and helpful .very Impressive choices of fish dishes for fish lovers.A really pleasant atmosphere and lovely evening had by all.
great place ,food was first class, service was excellent ,this was our 2nd visit , and again we were impressed. we will be booking again in 2019.
Good food and great service, only lacking in atmosphere . Staff could probably talk to customers more and create the friendly vibe rather than the professional straight approach
Food and wine excellent ( shame somebody forgot to warm up the treacle tart). Staff very polite and helpful lovely warm atmosphere Christmas menu value for money
A disappointing meal a tremendous change in standards to what i presume were previous owners We will not visit again . The meal was awash with gravy poured over a meal the turkey was tough Meal was warm not hot
had a really great 70th birthday party the food was first class staff were cheerfull and helpful did;t get the table we wanted but but thatis a minor detail
A great meal, well prepared, hot & tasty. Restaurant quiet so lacked a little atmosphere but booking was for an early time at 6.45pm. Friendly and attentive staff.
We went there for Sunday lunch for the first time , the food was excellent and the staff were very attentive. Shall definitely recommend to friends and family.
Meal was very poor. Turkey was very tough, veg were ok plenty of them but roast pots were just new pots roasted, pigs in blankets only 1 had bacon on !!! Xmas pud atrocious. Asked for jug of water which never arrived !!! Staff very inexperienced, reaching across us to serve and collect instead of serving from side, also noticed two of them on there phones standing by the bar whilst waiting for customers to finish. Lovely room and setting but won't be back ☹
Fabulous meal and lovely atmosphere at one stage we felt a bit rushed but explained that we need a little break between main meal and the desert and that was no problem . Excellent white choclate cheese cake desert . Thank you to the staff , we will return.
Two menus offered so plenty of choice especially for seafood lovers (me !!) Very attentive and friendly staff. To sum up I couldn’t find fault with anything
A lovely setting and tasty food! Good choice on the menu too. Very friendly staff who were very helpful. An enjoyable meal had by all.
Lovely setting, very pleasant staff,I am happy to return to this restaurant, food of a good standard. We had Sunday lunch there and although busy nothing was too much trouble.
We had a lovely evening at the Four stone as always. Amazing food, beautiful setting, great service! Looking forward to our next visit around Christmas time!
Food, service, ambiance, drinks, cost all excellent, all 9 of us thoroughly enjoyed our first experience of the Four Stones. This restaurant has gone straight to the top of our list for another visit. Thankyou
This is a largely undiscovered gem. Lovely friendly service and atmosphere. The food is different to your average but not silly prices, and very very eatable.
refurbished restaurant much better than last visit which was probably more than 2 years ago. Starters and Main course (we both had fish) were both excellent. We were given dessert menus but were then forgot about (even though not a busy night) so after a while we lost our appetites and didn't order any!
Great food, good service and a lovely location. Will be coming back soon for a birthday The menu choices are varied and the wine menu is equally brilliant
Booked a table last minute to celebrate wedding anniversary. Lovely food and lovely service in a beautiful setting. Service was quick regardless of a function upstairs, nothing was too much trouble. Was nice to see that set menus were available at the weekend too. Will definitely return.
Newly refurbished restaurant serving great tasting food. Good to see a large range of fish on the menu as well as diet friendly options. Will certainly be coming again. Out Canadian visitors were very impressed.
Lovely food from the set menu. The beef blade was delicious, the garlic chicken tasty and chocolate cheesecake finished us off nicely. Service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely go back again.
Another great night at The Four Stones! Excellent food, very attentive staff but not intrusive. Quiet night but there was still an nice atmosphere. Would recommend
Second time at this restaurant . Food amazing. However both times didn't have either first or second choice of wine, we were a party if 8 and they only had two bottles of chilled white wine! An improvement on last time when they had none!! Apart from that service very good.
This restaurant is the best we have been to in years. Staff brilliant. Food out of this world. It’s a must. We will be back.
My starter of mussels in a bisque was out of this world, enjoyed the beef & cock o van , had salted Creme brûlée for dessert but sent it back, far to salty but another sweet was offered straight away, nothing was to much trouble, lovely atmosphere there, would definitely go again
Fantastic evening, food was excellent and good value for money. Service was attentive but not intrusive. A warm welcome from Katie started the evening well.
As there were no other guests, the atmosphere was flat and the music rowdy. The food was mediocre and the service lackadaisical. Overall, somewhat disappointing.
We had a really lovely evening prompt service excellent friendly efficient staff and wonderful food we will definitely be revisiting. Staff exceptional warm and could not do enough to make your evening so perfect.
Food was very good The staff were very pleasant and helpful . We would definiately return. Only downside was the parking but because it was a lovely day Clent was very busy with walkers.
A very warm welcome at the Four Stones. Situated in a lovely, quiet Village. Staff are friendly & food was delicious. Will definitely be returning here.
Excellent food & service at a very reasonable price. It was a try out as we have booked for Xmas Day, so really looking forward to it now.
Booking was very easy and efficient and the restaurant (The Four Stones at Clent) excellent for both the food and the service with staff being very friendly and going out of their way to assist and ensure an enjoyable meal
Good variety of food, well presented. Service attentive and timely. Limited choice of beers but good selection of wine. Nicely laid out restaurant with well appointed furnishings. Enjoyable
All 5 of us enjoyed a super meal: squid, crayfish, garlic mushrooms, bruschetta. Sea bream, delicious sirloin, and pork mains. Not enough room for desert!
Very good service with delicious food which is good value. A wonderful choice of menu, we will definitely return. The surroundings are very nice & pleasant.
Food was really good when we got it, but service was a bit hit and miss> slightly disorganised. Really relaxed place to sit on a sunny warm summer evening quite peaceful.
Good food and surroundings. Extremely noisey and staff in need of extra training. Ordered a glass of sherry and asked if wanted a 175 or 250ml glass and if with ice. Served in a brandy glass
Excellent service, food was good. Set menu was excellent value. Lovely setting for romantic dinner. Would have liked more meat / fish in the paella though.
