Attentive service and good choices on the Market menu, lovely ambience in the Conservatory. Nice RSA wine choices, having visited the vineyard new it would travel well to Clent, well done team Fourstones.
Quality restaurant, food very good , drunk good, both not as expensive as other eatery’s in the area. Views from conservatory also very good-all in all a very nice experience
Lovely new menu and decor, great vibe, had a really amazing pinot blush! fish was fresh and tasty. staff were very professional, great night had
Amazing choice of food on the menu. All our meals were very good. However, it was expecting a lot of one person to meet & greet, take orders, serve drinks, bring food, clear tables, sort bills. As a result, service quite slow. We were happy to take a leisurely approach on this occasion but would hope for better next time.
A mixture of good and bad. Insufficient inexperienced staff resulted in delays. The food on the whole was satisfactory and pleasant. The coffee was apauling and undrinkable. I had to ask three times for the bill before it was presented. The staff need to improve and the service become more professional.
Took my wife here for our Anniversary. The restaurant has been tastefully renovated and thoughtfully decorated.. The tables are quite a way apart allowing you to relax and the staff are attentive without being in your face. The food itself was excellent ' tasty and good portions. We had a carafe of house white wine which was Fabulous. In all we enjoyed a lovely intimate evening in lovely surroundings. Highly recommended.
We Hadn't been there for about 2 years or more after a very disappointing meal and it was well worth another try, and not disappointed this time.
First time visiting The Four Stones restaurant after being recommend. We booked a table but was seated early as it was pretty empty, the food was great, will defiantly return. Thanks
We went for a birthday meal. Staff couldn’t have done more. Great food all piping hot. We had fillet steak to sea bass & pork, all was lovely.
What a wonderful night we had, haven’t been there for over 30 years (why have I left it so long?) from the welcome we received and and the service & food it was first class - well done to the team at the Four Stones and a special thank you to Katie see you all again very soon.
Great place to fine, but our table had at least four servers ar the startof the meal. Not complaining, but it does leave attention gaps Food was excellant
The staff were pleasant , great service couldn't do enough for you and a wide selection of food which tasted great. Also the place was in a lovely location.
Pleasant setting and a good atmosphere. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food was excellent and will definitely be going back for more. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
The ambience was very nice, in a beautiful setting with excellent food, Think the table should have been a bit larger for a party of nine.
Brilliant. Great food. Great service. Just booked up for Christmas.
Varied menu ,can mix from 3 Relaxed friendly atmosphere, tables spaced out well.Attentive service . Rolls and butter which if your the only one not having a starter is a plus .Lovely wine glasses !
Excellent evening. Great staff and enjoyable food! Three menu variations and the fish dishes we chose were really good. Warm evening so great to sit outside.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The four stones, the staff were excellent- very efficient and professional yet friendly and chatty. The food was served quickly and was lovely. We are local and shall definitely visit again.
Fab food and staff and I liked that they sat us in conservatory which I asked for in advance which other places don't always do. Will definitely go back
We had great food, with lovely service. There was an easy, relaxed atmosphere, so all in all it was perfect for a special birthday lunch.
Lovely food and attentive staff but not intrusive. Atmosphere is appealing and matches the interesting decor. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for which is definitely worth it.
Nice ambiance however the food was simply okay. Nothing special - in fact we had to send one of the starters back as it was completely burnt to a crisp inside (Oxtail & Beetroot Carpaccio). They replaced it immediately, but it put us off a little as it seemed as though it had been microwaved. Staff were attentive and friendly.
The staff are always polite friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is good and the food always excellent. We will be going back again and again.
Really enjoyed our meal. Catered for my partner who is Gluten intolerant. Great fish selection available. Enjoyable evening had and will definitely return. Thank you
The staff are very Efficient, friendly and very pleasant. The food is Excellent. There surroundings are comfortable with plenty of room between tables. An enjoyable evening.
Good food at a reasonable price. Very tasty sauces, scallops particularly good. Deserts a little over sweet - perhaps would be better to make them less sweet but provide a bowl of sugar for those who want something sweeter. Attractive dining room and plenty of space between the tables. Friendly staff - not always easy to get their attention to order wine and to get the bill at the end of our meal. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
very friendly staff good food a great experience would certainly recommend the place to my friends and go there again it was all good value
Great food, diverse menu- set menu, a la carte and fish menu. Service good but a little too fast at times- barely time to breathe between courses. Not offered drinks refresh.
The setting was fine, the staff performed well but the food was disappointing. We had the halibut and the turbot for main course. The accompanying vegetables had been microwaved to death, and the fish was soggy and tasteless with a slimey skin, hard to achieve unless again microwaved or boiled which is not what you want for halibut or turbot. The starters and puddings fared better but unfortunately you only get one chance for an initial impression.
Delicious and tasty food, warm and welcoming atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Seafood specials I would highly recommend, cooked perfectly. Will definitely be returning
Lovely restaurant, very friendly attentive staff nothing is too much trouble for them. the food is excellent- woukd definitely recommend this restaurant- worth a visit
We had a great meal, although the menu was a little restricted as it was the last sitting of the day. The staff were helpful and very friendly, but check your bill!
The service was excellent and food exceptionally good as well. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Maybe could do with making the lighting a little better but that is all I would have to add. Thanks Four Stones for a lovely evening
Nice place fantastic food a little noisy at times depending on size of other groups overall very nice place to dine we'll recommended give it a try
We sat in the conservatory, and as it was a nice summers evening it was absolutely fabulous. We had both had 3 courses. Starter was lovely although did expect homemade piccalilli with the terrine, although still nice. Duck breast was delicious however the accompanying seasonal vegetables were microwaved vegetables from the supermarket that consisted of green beans, half a piece of corn and not even a full floret of cauliflower. All of which was between two people. Dessert was light and dark chocolate cheesecake which we had to pay an extra £1.50 to have a small accompaniment of ice cream with it?!?!? Starter and main course were rushed through pretty quickly so we asked to wait before dessert came. Had to ask for things a few times, spoons for coffee, bill but other than that service was ok. For the price of the meal I really don’t think these issues should be happening!
Great food , great service and lovely environment. Consistently good , it is always a pleasure to have a night out at this restaurant where the team obviously take great pride in the quality of the service they deliver
Nice restaurant in a nice location. Bit off the main Rd but worth a visit. Plenty of choice on the menu. Staff friendly and attentive. Would recommend.
Had lunchtime tapas. Extremely good. Staff fab. Good value. Minor feedback on tapas menu - chicken skewer bland. Think thigh meet used, which is far more moist but unappetising. Needs sauce. Satay? Looks yuk. Everything else fab.
Very good food & service, reasonably priced too. Happy to go back again. Not a big restaurant but large enough to have a good atmosphere.
A very enjoyable experience would highly recommend here. The food, service and atmosphere was excellent.
This is a beautiful restaurant in a fantastic location at the foot of the Clent Hills. We went for Easter Sunday lunch. Good service-lovely meal -fabulous table and attentive staff-thanks. We will be coming again 😍
Nice restaurant but steak was gristly and stilton sauce was watery. My wife's braised beef had a very unattractive piece of curled up fat which should have been removed before serving. Having said that the service was very good and all food was piping hot.
Visited for the first time on a wet, grey day for lunch. Only one other table occupied. Sat in the conservatory. Had a very enjoyable tapas and fish lunch. Good food and good value for money.
An absolutely fabulous meal. Loads of choice. Staff were excellent and attentive too! Thanks. Will definitely go again. Salmon and mussels a must. Wine reasonably priced.
Overall good food and nice ambience. The only negative for me was the lack of choice. Of only 2 vegetarian options, the risotto (my preference) wasn’t available (ran out of risotto rice - I could understand if it was a seasonal ingredient or spoiled easily!) which was very disappointing.
Great food, good wine and excellent service. The menu was varied and suited all our variety of tastes. Good portion size. With the snow it was an effort to get there but well worth it
Incredible meal, beautiful quaint restaurant. The steak was out of this world melt in your mouth !! Will return 100%! Highly recommend - Stunnimg location too.
Visited for an early Mother’s Day present having dined here before. As before the food was excellent, great choice of drink & attentive service. Definitely recommend
The starter was nice (tomato and basil soup) but the main course was disgusting- silverside beef was 1 thick slice that was hard to cut, 1 small teaspoon of mash and 2 half roast potatoes and the veg of purple :black carrots cabbage and broccoli was not cooked and hard . We did not have dessert as the main course was so bad we decided against it . Will not go here again although the staff were very friendly
Food was delicious and service was exceptional . The set menu was very good value . Would highly recommend. Will definitely be going back .
