Excellent meal, excellent service. A beautiful experience all round. I would certainly recommend the fountain to anybody. A lovely place to spend a leisurely lunch with good friends.

the meal, as usual, was very good. Service started off very well but after main meal we had to chase staff to order our sweets . When they arrived they were missing the fruit and compote so had to go back, we ordered coffee for delivery when we had finished the desert. We had to chase them again to serve the coffees and teas and chase again to get the bill. A little disappointing and very unusual.

Good service and food. Had to wait 5 mins for the veg and potatoes to join our chicken and plaice at the table. Will return.

It was a lovely day in rural Clent. It was our first visit to the Fountain for many years. Wish we had tried it before. Great food, great value and splendid service. It was a bit hot for the legendary lamb but will definitely be going again for that.

Excellent food and service . This is our third time. We have never been disappointed. We live in France so are used to good food.

Salmon fish cakes, pot roast lamb and chocolate brownie - to die for. Totally excellent, great service. Recommend to anyone I will be back soon

I have been eating at the fountain for years! It is always the best! Brilliant service and amazing food every time! It's my favourite restaurant by far!!

Duck was tough, but after mentioning it to staff, we were given free sweets, which was a nice touch and made up for the disappointing main course

Food excellent, as always. The staff are wonderfully attentive and very friendly. One downside, it was a little noisy as the restaurant was full but worth putting up with it for the quality of the food.

Food and service excellent as usual we are regular customers and visit often with friends it's never disappoints its usually very busy which adds to the atmosphere

Tasty food, lovely setting and very friendly staff. I will definitely go back and recommend the Fountain Inn to friends. A very homely and friendly place.

Excellent service from the moment we entered the Fountain Inn until we left , from all the staff that serviced our party .We opted to order from the "Prix Fixe Menu", ( 3 course option )and were not disappointed.Great Value for money.Excellent food ,well prepared and presented.We therefore enjoyed an excellent lunch served by very professional staff . The Fountain continues to reach a really high standard of food,excellent staff and enjoy going every few weeks. Today our friend said,they felt they had eat proper food,and that says it all. Really must book very busy.

Good menu options. Reasonably priced. Well cooked food. Attentive staff. Cooking time slightly longer than ideal but not by much. A popular venue means booking almost always advisable.

Had a lovely welcome, had our names printed on the menu. Meal was very nice and could not fault it. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Food excellent, nice Corey dining room in pub. Men's toilets smelt, the basics has not been done. Instead they had supplied individual towels, used once and put in basket, and a fancy curtain to the window, sort of things you would expect in high class restaurant (not the curtain).these things do not make up for an unkept toilet. I wonder how clean the kitchen was. Staff very good and prices reasonable

Top marks! Great food and a great service, Food was local, freshly prepared and great value. It is a small country pub so book early. We will certainly be booking to go again, soon.

Fantastic food & great,friendly service. Good choice on the menu, vegetarian friendly. Excellent chips. Deserts are to die for, hard to choose just 3 for the assiette. Highly recommend.

It was beautifully presented food, with fair prices. the excellent service is recommended, as is the lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed our birthday treat and hope to visit again soon

The food was fabulous with a great choice. Also flexible over accompaniments and sides which is always good. The pick and mix puds where you choose 3 mini desserts is a great idea although very hard choice as they all sounded lovely! Staff friendly and service good. I would nit hesitate to recommend the Fountain.

Excellent welcome, service, food and drink. The staff are always friendly and attentive, the pub is always spotlessly clean and is ideally situated at the foot of the Clent Hills.

My husband and I just had a very nice meal at The Fountain. We arrived rather early for our booking, but were seated well before the appointed time. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit

We go to the Fountain at least once a year (always for Fathers Day) & always have a great meal in a cosy restaurant. This year though, I noticed that the food came out differently ie small pots of chips, cauliflower cheese etc your main plate came out as normal however, just portioned seemed smaller for some reason. Wouldn't deter me from going back as quality was still amazing, just not what we quite expected.

Brilliant food, great service and overall a lovely night. The restaurant has a very homely feel to it. Definitely recommend starting with some champagne cocktails.

Another fantastic meal at the fountain clent.food tops I had calves liver melted in my mouth my wife had feather blade of beef .she said it was the best she ever a eaten.staff so kind and friendly.we have visited the fountain 6 times this year .can't wait for the next time.

Great atmosphere, stupendous food, good, (room for improvement) service. Will return and will recommend to friends, family and anybody else who has an interest in really good food. I can still taste that lamb cutlet now.
