Fabulous meal, the service is always very good and we all had a very enjoyable time. They serve an excellent range of real ale too.

Not a bad word to say about the fountain. The food is fabulous, piping hot and plenty of it. The staff are extremely helpful and very friendly. We love going there .

Very efficient and friendly staff. We would have liked to see the wine list before we chose our drinks, but probably we should have asked. I chose an expensive wine without realising and would probably have chosen the medium size rather than small; otherwise all was good.

A lovely evening, good food and pleasant staff. Evening spoilt by a large noisy party next to us - we could not hear ourselves talk at times.

Excellent Sunday lunch, creamy rich parsnip soup followed by beef which can be ordered pink or well done. Excellent fresh veg and extra gravy when required. What's not to like

As always superb service, my most favourite eatery, celebrated my 40th there and was proposed to by my partner. Many more happy memories to be had. Absolutely love this place !!! Food amazing !!!

Menus were individual named which is a nice touch, food wonderful, very good portion sizes. Tables were a little bit intimate (i. e. squashed in) but overall very good. Will go again

Fantastic afternoon, lovely touches from staff, menu was personalised & photograph taken of Birthday Girl when cake arrived and given as keepsake. Food plentiful and really good choice. Recommend this place

Efficient and pleasant staff. The restaurant was very busy, so if you don't like a lively atmosphere , don't go. The food was excellent , as usual. Well cooked and tasty fish dish with loads of different vegetables. The portion of the trio of desserts was very generous and a delight. Leave room for your pudding!

Another memorable meal - garlic bread definitely recommended by my son! The staff are always very welcoming and friendly and gave excellent service. We just love their chips!

Food at The Fountain @ Clent was delicious all three courses and as it was a warm evening even had our dessert outside. Water comes to your table chilled in a bottle. Prosecco is smooth but crisp. The service was outstanding polite pleasant smiley staff who treated you politely and served you like royalty. Really clean beautiful pub but where is the fountain!!!!

Food served cold if you do not have gravey staff waiting on your table to to remove plates before you have finished. When told about cold food said sorry about that.

The service at the Fountain was exceptional, the food was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed everything we were served and look forward to our next meal there.

This is one of our favourite restaurants. On this occasion we took my dad for a pre birthday dinner along with our teenage children. Everyone's meal was delicious. Portions were very generous and we were given more vegetables and potatoes they we could eat with the main. The service was excellent as always.

A drizzly lunchtime in August, yet a packed Fountain and no spare tables! Quietly efficient, courteous and friendly team; excellent value menu and extremely well cooked meal with generous portions. The young staff are already a credit to the owners. Grateful that music very low as so many happy diners chatting away. Am torn between keeping this pub a secret and telling the world! NB there is more parking behind the pub.

Great food and a quaint country pub atmosphere. We ordered the lamb shank which absolutely fell off the bone, was extremely tasty with the sauce, and was very large - well recommended.

As usual the service was excellent as was the quality and quantity of the food. For me the icing on the cake was the personalised menus.

Fantastic food, good quality. Great service, we were looked after very well. Only downside was we were given the wrong wine - a prestige rioja rather than a standard which was twice the price. Only discovered this having left the pub and didn't feel we could query it as no doubt we were probably served the prestige wine and it was simply a misunderstanding - we simply asked for "the rioja" but there are 2 on the menu. Aside from that, a lovely evening.

The staff at The Fountain are very welcoming and friendly. The service they provide is excellent - there is never a feeling that they are 'hovering' yet they always manage to anticipate when customers are ready for another drink or the next course, I can't rate them highly enough. The food is always cooked and presented to a fantastic standard, the only problem being that it's so hard to make a choice from the menu. This is definitely number one in my top two favourite places to eat.

It was a lovely day in rural Clent. It was our first visit to the Fountain for many years. Wish we had tried it before. Great food, great value and splendid service. It was a bit hot for the legendary lamb but will definitely be going again for that.

We enjoyed a very tasty and superbly cooked and well presented meal at the Fountain to night. The staff were polite and very attentive, despite an early booking on a Thursday evening the place was almost full and the service was excellent. We will return, as I suspect will many others.

the meal, as usual, was very good. Service started off very well but after main meal we had to chase staff to order our sweets . When they arrived they were missing the fruit and compote so had to go back, we ordered coffee for delivery when we had finished the desert. We had to chase them again to serve the coffees and teas and chase again to get the bill. A little disappointing and very unusual.
