The Fountain at Clent

Lovely food as usual. One of our favourite places to eat out. 2 of our party had the fixed prix menu and 3 had the butty board. Both menus were a hit.

Superb food, great value, excellent service! The Fountain never lets you down, and always offers something a little different. Please don’t think that because this is still a pub you’ll get pub food.

Perfect - great food, excellent service in a lovely setting, will be returning very soon. I highly recommend the lamb shoulder. Thanks for a great evening!

Great food, great atmosphere, staff friendly and tentative. We had three courses, starters are very good sized portion so very filling and good value for money. I have pork belly which was nicely cooked and my wife had lamb which was also well cooked, both melted in the mouth. Sadly no black forest gateau so shared chocolate brownie, again a large portion enough for two of us. My only criticism was that there was no gap between finishing the started to the main coming out, hence the 5 otherwise it would be a 6.

If only all pubs did food as good as this! Staff very helpful & friendly, a great lunch out. Good selection of wine to go with the food.

Excellent food and excellent service in a busy but cosy atmosphere with pleasant helpful staff. Would recommend to friends and family as this is a normal day for customers of the Fountain.

Wonderful service and meal yet again, it is so friendly there. I have never been to the fountain and had a bad meal, would highly recommend

We were given a great table which for an anniversary meal so just perfect. The food as always was fantastic, The Fountain never disappoints. Thankyou.

As always, the standard of the food and service was very good. The fixed price early evening menu offers extremely good value for money. Long may it continue.

Amazing food just no room for pudding so disappointed as the menu was exquisite. We took our two young children and they were welcomed and catered for extremely well especially as our toddler has egg and nut allergy’s.

As it was my birthday and my parents had been there several times, I thought I would give it a go, the food was excellent and the staff are so friendly, when we arrived the chief was speaking to the customers which I thought was great.

Brilliant - well looked after and lovely food. Definitely would go again! Had a 9 month old baby with us and they did the best they could to accommodate

Food was amazing and staff very attentive Only downside for me was we got the table by the door so every time someone was coming in or out we had a gust of cold air - summertime would not be an issue

As always, great food and service. The place was heaving but that didn't impact on anything. Great experience and we we will be back soon.

Highly recommend The fountain at clent for its food ,atmosphere , friendly staff, I cannot fault it . Perfect for any occasion couldn't get any better.

First time at The Fountain, Food superb, very pleased but level of service could have been better. Seemed to be waiting much longer than necessary for our orders to be taken and had to ask for a dessert menu after waiting what seemed too long a time having said we would like to see the dessert menu when our plates were taken from finishing mains. Also had to wait a long time to be given the bill at what was the end of the lunchtime session with not many people left in. We look forward to going again but hope the level of service is quicker next time.

An ok little place with west end London prices for average food. The food was so rich I was up all night with an uncomfortable bloated stomach.

Difficulty with disabled parking, access to restaurant with wheel chair and disabled toilets. Food very nice! Staff friendly and helpful. Not really suitable for disabled however.

Once again a lovely night out and gorgeous food will be back

We were made very welcome. The food and service was really good. We were having a rare family meal and this ticked all of our boxes.

Have been to the fountain many times. The food is always delicious. There is a good choice and the fixed price menus represent value for money. I love the assiette of puddings! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Excellent food and service however when we arrived we were told we could only have the table for 2 hours this isn’t mentioned when you book as we’d of gone somewhere else if we’d known so felt it was rather rushed.

Lovely food, good service only thing that was distracting was the surrounding tables being cleaned and re set during our stay . Will ask for a corner table next time

Great food, have eaten here loads and always do a great Sunday lunch. Desserts are wonderful, love the trio of puds! Would highly recommend, you need to book as always busy.

The best prawns ever! But so is everything else. It's our favourite restaurant. Everyone is always so welcoming and polite. It's a must if you enjoy good food.

Great welcome. Great food. Two of us had tiger prawns as a starter, and on had the soup. Our mains were sea bass and crab for two of us and one had cod in batter. All were perfectly cooked and beatifully presented. 3 satisfied customers

Excellent food and excellent service. The Sunday lunch was delicious. We all had different choices from the starter,main and desert menu and we were all extremely pleased with all three.

Great personal welcome. Gorgeous food. Fish and chips cooked to perfection and the chocolate fudge brownie is really yummy without being sickly. I will be back!

Lovely meal at The Fountain, my wife's favorite pub/restaurant so we took her there for mothers day. My children are young and I always worry that the menu is adult themed so we always have the starters (open sandwiches) and desserts instead of the 2 coarse deals but the food is always amazing and the atmosphere and service outstanding, my kids love it. Only thing I possibly think would make me happier (and I know you can't please everyone) is a couple of child friendly options with the mains. Congratulations on running a fantastic establishment and we will definately be back both as a couple and a family.
