Very good as always, attentive staff, lovely food and Christmas atmosphere

Lovely Pub, great service, wonderful food. We had a great table for two and the staff were very attentive. Food was better then I had hoped for despite the rave reviews. We shall definitely be returning!

The Fountain is always a great place to eat, the food was superb, great range of starters, smoked salmon mousse was beautiful! Main courses were beautiful, we went for fish and lamb choices, followed with gorgeous desserts. Fabulous

Large varied menu of delicious food plates and drinks served in comfortable traditional English pub. Have visited the Fountain over many years to enjoy the varied food on offer.

The girls' annual Christmas lunch was excellent as usual. Richard is so accommodating with offering alternative choices due to my dietary restrictions. The staff are always welcoming and attentive. Highly recommended!

We had a great evening at The Fountain. Lovely atmosphere and great food as always - this time having the lamb pot roast and sea bass, both cooked perfectly.

Great food and great location. Lots of choice and some excellent ales for those how enjoy such pleasures. Well recommended. Bear in mind you will need to book.

Excellent food,friendly helpful staff.As Richard ,the owner always says "if you leave here hungry,then its your own fault",in other words ,ask for more if you need anything.

The fountain is a great find. Lovely food, cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Great spot for a walk before or after food. We will be definitely be coming back!

Excellent service. Generous portion sizes as always. A lovely atmosphere. Staff were happy to help and amend my order, I had pre ordered from Xmas menu, but changed my dessert order, no problem from Richard who was hosting and serving us. 👍🏽😋

The meal was good and the staff very obliging with one of our party who changed his mind, nothing was too much trouble. It was good value for money. The roast potatoes were a bit overdone but everything else perfect.

The usual excellent food served without any delays even though 100% covers were being served.I can thoroughly recommend The Fountain at Clent and of course me and my friends will return.

Very good as is to be expected good service the place was full but still didn’t have to wait very long food will be back in January

This was our first visit to the Fountain and we shall certainly return. Everything was excellent, from the waiting staff to the delicious food. The atmosphere was cosy but it was not too noisy, so you could have a decent conversation.

Lovely little pub with excellent food, excellent service even though it was busy- staff could not do enough for you, good value for money, definitely will book again.

We thought the food was not as good as it has been in recent years. As it was a special occasion for me we were slightly disappointed.

Food, Staff, Location, Beer, Atmosphere, brill. Living in Spain, 'The Fountain' is always our first port of call when meeting up with our mates. It's a six from me !!!

The food was excellent but the seating was disappointing, right in front of the door , next to the bar and cooking area , ruined my wife's birthday meal.

The food was great. The C for celiac on the menu was appreciated by a member of our party. A good relaxed atmosphere, the service was quick and pleasant, and a nice choice of food.

Another great dining experience at the Fountain. Service is always great, food is spot on, some nice additions to the menu this time as well.

it was a birthday lunch and although the restaurant was exceptionally busy, the, service and Sunday lunch were exceptional - never had a poor meal here. no wonder it is difficult to get a table !!!

Lovely restaurant only trouble with this is you always have to book so far in advance. Staff are always so pleasant and polite and nothing is to much trouble. This is a special place.

Again excellent meal well presented and served up to their usual high standards.Each time we go they have their old favourites and also introduce new courses for us to try.

Excellent birthday celebration with delicious food. Very busy on a Saturday lucnchtime, need to book well in advance. Several people turned away and advised to book next time by friendly owner, Richard

Fantastic food, fantastic service, and a fantastic place to be. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food freshly cooked and presented in good time, and wonderfully presented. When booking we entered it was our silver anniversary and they printed a special message on the menu which was lovely . We will return. Of course we will. :)

the cheeseboard was not a great choice. The port infused cheese wasn't very palatable. one of the other cheeses was served hardened. we told the waitress but nothing was done. other than that , the food and wine were good.

Food very good, good choice but no pasta dishes. Also service was abit to quick between courses, felt a bit rushed, needed more breathing space. Lovely atmosphere.

As always we received a warm welcome. Food and service were excellent and set menu is great value. My friend ordered a roast pork sandwich and had to ask for the promised crackling as it came without. This was soon rectified however.

Marvellous food, good and unobtrusive service, and no loud music, thankfully! I have dined here many times and have never had anything but a pleasant meal. The signature dish of slow-cooked lamb shoulder is exquisite, as is the blade of beef. And oh my, the chips!!

Took friends tonight for 1st time and they was very impressed with the food, price and staff and management.and will definitely be returning have never had a bad experience at the fountain 5 star all the way.

Brilliant place, will be going again. Second time for me, some in the party 1st time. Meal was hot and well presented, chips were yum. Enjoy.

Atmosphere very pleasant, as usual. The four of us chose a two-course Sunday lunch and, whilst the main course was not quite up to the usual excellent standard in each case, the desserts more than made up for this fact - they were all excellent.

The staff were very pleasant and efficient the meal was hot and ok but the chips were over cooked and dry but we still had a very pleasant evening

We both had roast beef dinner, absolutely amazing as always. Desserts are just out of this world, the best anywhere we’ve been, and a bonus being able to have a trio as it’s impossible to decide on just one!

Very good as always. Service attentive. Wine great and reasonably priced. Starters, main, sweets and coffee all good. Have been many times before and will return.
