Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Wonderful food and service. Staff are so helpful and polite.

Fabulous meal for our 17th anniversary. Really friendly staff and good value. Has been a lot of years since our last visit..wont be as long thiS time!!

Waitresses friendly, helpful , and provided everything we needed to include our baby granddaughter in our meal so we could eat comfortably. Sunday lunch was tops.

Very enjoyable - a member of the party banged their head which was the only downside. Although there is signage it could be made clearer. Food was exceptional.

This used to be one of our favourite restaurants but today the food and service were shocking. Wrong main meal brought out, wrong dessert brought out and the cost was ridiculous. Not an enjoyable evening.

I have never had an unhappy visit to the Fountain but this last one was just exceptionally good, new range of vegan options on the menu, the Shepherds pie was phenomenal and the choice of deserts an absolute delight, the cauliflower cheese no longer comes as standard but ask and ye shall have, i honestly thought the food couldn't be improved upon but it has exceeded my expectations, my none vegetarian dining companion was likewise impressed with her meal, well done to Jacqui and the team.

Met up with friends for lunch & as ever, the food was excellent, drinks brought promptly & all by staff with a pleasant smile and who were very attentive. It’s an excellent venue for food at any time of day, & to have steamed vegetables served as part of your main course ( albeit a tad over cooked, but the restaurant was very full, ) is always a big plus in my book. Well done all at the Fountain. See you again soon.

The visit was for lunch on my wife's and my wedding anniversary and the whole was the high quality we always expect there. For the first time I chose the Famous Lamb Pot Roast. I have never had such an enormous piece of meat , so beautifully cooked and of such high quality. It almost beat me but not quite, I had to forgo dessert though. Top marks all round.

Disappointed with menu choice. My husband chose fish which came over cooked and dry. Friends chose sea bass, very small portions and again over cooked. Overall, food quality not as good as previously experienced.

Very busy restaurant so very popular. Plenty of staff though to look after you. Nice touch name printed on menu. Came to check all was OK. Booked again. Need to book well in advance some tables very tight together but ours was fine.

Regularly eat at The Fountain and have always found the food to be of a good quality and excellent value and our latest visit didn't disappoint.

Brilliant meal as always at this restaurant. We haven't been in a couple of years but I think the food quality and service has got even better - I didn't think that was possible but they surpassed our already high expectations. Great evening!
