Excellent meal and service. My only complaint was the background music being played. As my husband is deaf this, together with the chatter from other diners ( obviously unavoidable) wasn’t good for him.

Delicious food and good portion sizes, this is our favourite place to eat.

Our guests travelled from Richmond London especially for lunch and loved the atmosphere and the excellent meal and service and now making their way back to London.

As good as ever.I was worried about the timings for having the table, as other reviews stated that they felt rushed towards the end of their meal. However did not feel pressured to vacate our table and all in all it was an enjoyable evening. We booked the 6.30pm slot and it was fine athough it was getting busier as we left.

The food and service (both in terms of attention to detail and speed) was second to none. A little on the pricey side so would only really recommend visiting on special occasions, but certainly worth a visit. Had a great time

Still amazing! Had the duck, which was better than the last time with an extra pot of the lovely sauce. The chips were a little disappointing, as they’re normally crispier - and the dauphinois potatoes portion has definitely decreased! :(

Great Sunday lunch with friends. They had the lamb shoulder which they loved. I had the roast beef which was ok, but not as good as on previous visits. Left room for an assiette of puddings. Yummy.

We eat at The Fountain regularly and it is very difficult to find any fault with any aspect of the restaurant. From the spacious car parks to the greeting at the door, to the impeccable service and delightful food, there are countless reasons for us to return again and again.

Fabulous food, excellent wine, very attentive, welcoming staff, the perfect meal.

Ever Reliable - & excellent. My wife & I have eaten here on numerous occasions. Apart from the need to reserve well ahead of the date, everything is perfect. The reservation problem is, of course, indication of how popular The Fountain is, & justifiably so. Every so often a late table is available, so it's always worth checking, but don't, normally, expect to be able to book on the same day you want to visit.
