The Fountain at Clent

We have eaten at the Fountain on several occasions. Once again, we've had a super lunch with first class service. The food was delicious accompanied by a good selection of vegetables. The staff are most helpful and attentive and nothing is too much trouble. Always advisable to book. In our opinion excellent value for money.

Very good food and service all you need in a restaurant well organised and friendly we have been a lot of times and constantly performs

As usual the Fountain was good from start to finish, the food is always good and nice atmosphere. Signature lamb pot roast is fantastic and is hard to beat.

The service was good. The staff friendly and professional. I would rate the food 5 or a 6, it was very good and enjoyable retirement lunch for a colleague.

Table for Five ready and waiting. We all had a very nice time most enjoyable. Staff were great. Starters, Main, Sweets, Drinks, Beer all Top Class. Outstanding.

I had beef Wellington in jus and my wife had chicken in bluecheese sauce, was accompanied with diaphanous potatoes chips and vegetables in separate serving bowls, For desert I had three small pots, raspberry cheesecake chocolate brownie with hot chocolate sauce with ice cream and a creme brulee Everything was served in good time and was delightful. With two glasses of rose prosseco and two pints of thatchers gold cider was 57 quid Which I think is really well priced for the quality you get

Friendly helpful staff. Food hot and well presented. Only fault I could find was the glasses dd not look very clean but I think this could be down to the dish washer which left that cloudy look on the glass perhaps it is out of salt !!!! Food was excellent as usual.

As ever a brilliant lunchtime experience eating amazing food. Service was also very good. Would recommend slow cooked shoulder of lamb, asparagus starter and the dual puddings.

Always a good night at The Fountain, we were greeted like friends, served quickly and efficiently, and enjoyed 3 courses of heavenly grub. Top notch as always.

From the Welcoming hosts to the great atmosphere and wonderful food I can highly recommend this restaurant. Everyone is made to feel special and given a personal service

Good food nice people - only critism is tables are close together feel a bit cramped .will still visit very regularly especially during summer months

The food, the service and the overall experience of dining at The Fountain was excellent. Value for money is always outstanding there and we have never been disappointed.

Sadly the food was rather bland. So we didn't really find it very good value for money. Therefore I am not sure we would return a second time

Best place it eat in the area, lovely place serving great food. I've eaten here several times and never had a bad meal. Highly recommended.

Hadn't been for a while and after such an excellent dinner won't be leaving it so long next time. Great to see that the very high standards here are being maintained.

Lovely pub in the Clent hills serving tasty food and a good range of drinks in a pleasant setting. Nice service, great menu which is personalised for your party (nice touch) and a reasonable bill at the end of it (£170 including tip for 5 of us). Recommended

As usual excellent food with friendly and helpful staff in a relaxed atmosphere. Slightly disappointed with the puds on this occasion but the meal as a whole was very enjoyable.

Charming, old pub/restaurant in lovely surroundings just a minute from the bottom of Clent Hills should you wish to work up an appetite....or indeed take a breather after indulging in the excellent food and ale. Staff ever courteous, friendly and efficient. What more do you want!

Even on a Wednesday lunchtime, busy, creating a good atmosphere, good choice of food and price range and as always excellent service. Pre-book is my advice, even for a lunch time.

We have been to the fountain many times and never been disappointed,booked for our 30th wedding anniversary, first time using the online service Quandoo very easy and user friendly,food and service is second to none we absolutely love it there looking fwd to the next time, Thanks

Food fantastic, staff really friendly, nothing too much trouble. Always enjoy experience only problem usually have trouble getting a table, need to book well in advance.

We had a lovely meal, as always. But my only complaint would be that one of the plates we were served with our main on, had a chip out of the rim. This was more apparent because the plate was a dark blue colour.

Fantastic atmosphere, service is always spot on. Food is always delicious and staff are the most polite you have had serve you at a pub/resteraunt. Would recommend to everyone that they come here at least once for themselves
