The Fountain at Clent

Brilliant food - excellent quality and lots of it. The menu is extensive and good value for money. I have tried other places but keep going back to The Fountain as they have got it right.

The four table members enjoyed their particular choices immensely. The waitresses were very helpful and attentive. The atmosphere was welcoming and it made for a thoroughly enjoyable eating experience.

Always great service and food. It was lovely and warm, despite the snow outside! Incredible value for such good food, a really fulfilling experience. We don't go there too often though as the menu doesn't change much so can get a bit repetitive if you go too often! But always lovely :)

My friend and I had an excellent lunch at The Fountain, we would thoroughly recommend it, excellent service and a very good lunch time menu.

As always we had a lovely meal on Saturday 24th February service was good and quality of food excellent Hope to be returning soon for another great night.

Delicious food and good service. We love the bottomless veg/ chips/ potatoes!! A little bit draughty at the table by the door but otherwise very cosy atmosphere.

An excellent meal on a very cold night.staff were very attentive but meal was unrushed. Would recommend to family and friends. Price was reasonable for high quality food.

A lovely restaurant with lovely staff. Great menu choices and the food was all hot when served to the table. Staff were friendly, and the ales were good too! I was amazed how busy it was for a cold, Wednesday night in February (it was full), but the soft furnishings help keep the noise levels down. We will definitely return.

Excellent food and wine. Steak was cooked to perfection and Lemon Posset was incredible. Would highly recommend. No faults at all. Very happy customer :)

Always a good standard of Food and very good surroundings . Watch for ROAD CLOSED detour during end of Feb. HAD THE SLOW COOKED Lamb just feel apart covered in MINT Sauce. WOW.

Fabulous food in a great small cosy pub/restaurant. Trio of desserts were to die for. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet

Warm welcome followed by fantastic food at remarkably reasonable prices and in lovely rustic surroundings. Struggled to get through 3 courses, as the portions are generous. Wil definitely be returning. Highly recommend. Family of 5.

As normal fantastic food and incredible service bands customer focus. The pre fix menu before 2pm is always good value for money. The 4 garlic prawn starter option is recommended

Main courses lamb and chicken superb as we're veggies. Starters Caesar salad poor, melon mediocre. Assiette deserts lovely, rum Baba very dry, hardly taste rum, poor. Ambience and service excellent, usual good standard. Will return but avoid the rum Baba ....

We enjoyed our meal and friends who hadn't been before really liked it. Our table was a little hemmed in but soon changed without fuss after it was pointed out.

The lamb roast was cold because of cold plates but the waitress gave us some hot gravy which resolved the problem. Other than that everything was great.

Visited The Fountain many times, we always enjoy everything, from the staff, to the ambience, to the food. The food is always amazing, sometimes too amazing as we can't manage puds!!

Tables are to close together at the bottom. Unfortunately soda water was flat .otherwise food very good but it is a shame too much veg has to be thrown away.

Always great food and a good atmosphere. Always looked after. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Also has a bowling alley for a social night out with friends and family.

Lovely food and lots of if it! We shared a starter and dessert and had a main each - more food than we coud manage. The wine, service and atmosphere also excellent.

The Fountain was very busy on a Monday lunchtime which tells you all you need to know. Book and enjoy the food and ambience of a gastro bub.

Excellent as always. Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff. The roast beef is so delicious, cannot fault this place at all, the attention to detail in everything is second to none. See you again next month.

Excellent service yet again and the best Sunday roast for miles. Also winderful selection of good beers! Highly recommended for a great meal out at great value.
