Food was very good. Plenty nice and hot. Staff very attentive, helpful. A small hamper on the table with our cutlery, napkins , glasses and sanitizer. Very very good.

The Fountain continues to be the best place to eat for miles. Beautifully cooked super fresh food. We both chose fish, a whole plaice, and sea bass. Both were beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. Dishes of dauphinoise potatoes, chips and a steamer basket of fresh veg are brought to the table to accompany. The Fountain have put a lot of thought into how to accommodate covid regs, tables are generously spaced, staff all in masks, and a hamper brought to your table containing all the essentials- cutlery, napkins, glasses, condiments and even a mini bottle of hand sanitiser. Thank you to Jacque and your team for a fantastic lunch, we'll be back again veey soon.

Always a fantastic dining experience with great food and amazing friendly staff

The food was amazingly good. We ordered the signature dish of slow-cooked lamb pot roast. It was tender and juicy and very generous. The accompanying vegetables were fresh and tasty, served in a steamer. The chips and pommes dauphinois were yummy. Pudding, for me, was a trio of individual chocolate brownies that were lovely, my friend relished the lime cheesecake. It was a great pleasure to see that The Fountain had re-opened. The steps taken to keep everyone safe were very thorough, and I felt comfortable there, my first visit after lockdown. I shall return. Several times!

the food and service were excellent , l went with three friends who I go out with to different places to eat on our birthdays. this was the best meal we have had and we will certainly go again.

Selected a light lunch from Starter menu, soup, fish cakes and a bowl of chips as intended to walk the Clent hills. A high standard of cleanliness was present

Lovey meal. Excellent staff. Only negative was Irish coffee was made with squirty cream. However staff replaced with pouring cream and a smile, at no extra cost. Can’t wait to go back.

First time since lockdown. Staff were excellent & food was amazing!

What a gem in a perfect setting! We were a little nervous venturing out to eat in the current climate, however; the fountain had everything covered with regard to our safety, we were very impressed. The food was outstanding,! The waiting staff were lovely too, we will certainly be making a return visit 😀

First visit since COVID shutdown. I must say how professional everyone was and due to restrictions, how very well thought out the restaurant was. Lovely wicker baskets in your table which stores your personalised menu which you then use as your placemat. Salt and pepper condiments, all of your knives and folks wrapped in your napkin and finally your own personal hand sanitizer!!!! Great idea and well received by others who went there for dinner. The team all wore clean lovely uniforms and face masks. I have to say this is one of the only places that I’ve been to that makes you feel really comfortable and above all, safe!! Additionally, the outside area have 4 gazebo’s with seating and tables for food and drinks. The food was delicious and cooked and served to a high standard. I have told all my friends and family what a lovely experience we had on Saturday evening. Thank you to all the team, great team and very friendly and welcoming. We will be returning Debbie & Colin x

Had a lovely meal yesterday. They have really thought things through with COVID-19. You have your own hamper on the table waiting for you. It has been packed ready for you with glasses, cutlery, napkins, condiments and hand gel, all done by ‘Beth’ with her gloves on. The food was lovely as usual. The 3 course menu is excellent value and the choice was as good as ever. I had crab cake starter, roast pork main and the assiette trio of creme brûlée, chocolate truffle and strawberry parfait. Had hoped to try the pineapple tarte tatin but they had run out. Everything was wonderful, just be prepared to be very full because the portions are very generous. Staff were amazing, friendly and efficient. Will

Our first visit out to a restaurant since covid! Staff did an amazing job with everything, great thought went into the wicker basket presentation box full of all the items you need, all untouched by human hand! Staff well distanced & wore masks. Tables well spaces out. Food was amazing as usual, we opted for the lamb pot roast which is always the best we have tasted anywhere! Would not hesitate to go back, can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone! Thank you all at The Fountain for making our time there special, see you all soon xx 😀😀😀

A delicious lunch and great way to start the hols. First meal out since lockdown but staff were very professional, sanitizing tables between questions and handling as little as possible. Our reserved table was inside but we were able to sit outside as there was space available. My friend and I both had delicious sandwiches from the butty menu 😊.

Great meal, good atmosphere and excellent service. The weather was great, so it was very busy which was good to see under current circumstances.

A family of four our table was waiting . We had a corner to ourselves sitting in the window. We were given our own personal basket with all we needed for the table inside including hand sanitizer. All staff wore masks and were all very attentive. Food as always was excellent and plenty of it.

So good to be back at the Fountain. Sunday lunch was perfect. The service was great and the hamper with all the cutlery, napkins and even hand saniter inside was a subtle touch. The ambiance was relaxed and we left full and so glad we had the effort.

Fantastic experience the Fountain have got it spot on food was fantastic the service fantastic. Staff really friendly. You are shown to your table once seated brought a bottle of water on the table is a basket all closed with a ribbon so you untie the Ribbon and inside is your cutlery Which is wrapped in your serviette, two glasses, hand gel and salt and pepper with a lovely little note about how the basket was prepared I had the two course option which is fantastic value you get an amazing amount of food.

As always, amazing food and wonderful service. The team have clearly put much thought into making The Fountain covid safe, while retaining the excellent atmosphere and service for which it is known. Food was better than ever, staff were warm/welcoming but safe and wouldn’t hesitate to return soon! Glad we chose it for our first post lockdown outing.
