Good food great service I can’t fault anything however unsure on the environment felt like it was a hotel restaurant and a bit old-fashioned

Great food, great staff, right next to the beautiful clent hills. Very nice wine and beers too.

As always the food was amazing and staff very attentive and polite.Obviously what comes over from the staff is that they have been very well trained. For anyone who is worried about visiting the Fountain during these Covid times.....don’t be worried at all as we were very comfortable with all of the safety measures put in place.

Very polite and very helpful. Food as usual was wonderful.

Didn’t enjoy starters the garlic bread was swimming in garlic butter. Which made the bread very soggy and sickly . There was hardly any cheese and we did not eat it all . For mains we had the lamb in brown sauce . Which the lamb was very fatty and overcooked in places that you couldn’t eat it . It was very disappointing has it was a surprise for my husband’s birthday and our first visit regards

Very impressed with the food,the polite friendly staff, and the extra measures for safety. Loved the hamper our cutlery came in. Alwsys fab food but really enjoyed the outside marquee. Will be back.

Always a pleasure to have a meal at the fountain ,staff are great and the service ,also the way they have adapted to the coronavirus is very good ,we will be going again soon .

Had to send steak back for further cooking - ordered a desert but asked for no fruit or fruit sauce instead wanted ice cream - desert came with fruit on sent it back they scrapped fruit off and added ice cream - thought the fountain had higher standards - shame always had great meals there.

Excellent food and really really good service. Very highly recommended.

Considering the pandemic issues was extremely impressed with their originality in not only making us feel safe but also making us feel at home. Wonderful food, wonderful atmosphere and very impressive staff members long may they continue to be successful will be booking another table real soon

Food , service and ambience great . Would have been perfect if one family had kept their childrens voices a bit quieter .

Yet again another wonderful evening at The Fountain. The food was just fantastic quality and cooked to perfection. The staff are polite and helpful. Would recommend to all friends looking for a top quality evening out.

What a warm welcome!! Food was fantastic and the staff so friendly. Loved the wicker basket on our table with everything we needed (even hand gel) which was guaranteed to have been packed safely. What a lovely evening. Thank you

Absolutely outstanding. The team made us fee very welcome fro. The minute we stepped inside. Lovely touch to have the hampers on the table with sanitised products in. Menu choice amazing and cooked perfectly. Not rushed just a nice gently paced meal which was flavoursome and very moorish. Portion sizes were ample. Thank you for adding to our bank holiday weekend away with good food lovely atmosphere and friendly hospitable staff.

Excellent food, plenty of it. Little touches that this restaurant does makes it stand out from the rest. The safety measures put in place due to Covid are the best we’ve seen. Excellent idea with the cutlery and napkin hamper on the table. We’ll be back again soon.

Staff welcomed us straight away, our table wasn’t quite ready but we sat outside with a drink and the menus. Two of us fancied fish and chips which wasn’t on the evening menu - no problem!!! The service throughout was friendly, polite and efficient. Food was great and portions (as always) massive. How anyone has 3 courses here is beyond me!!! Keep up the great work guys.

Unfortunately cramped, 6 around a table that would struggle to seat 4 and draughty as we seated by the door. The staff serving were excellent, unfortunately the planning and management leaves a lot to be desired.

Amazing as always! Superb attention to detail to ensure everyone has a safe and relaxed dining experience. Loved the baskets with sterilised cutlery, etc and even antibacterial hand gel. Food was simply delicious.

What an amazing experience! You have really gone the extra mile , we arrived and was met at the door and all staff wearing face masks and A sanitizer Station at the entrance we were guided to our table to be greeted by a hamper with our Menus on the Top and a Glass bottle of water . Our Menus had my Name printed on them and the Time if booking , the hamper had cutlery, salt and pepper two water glasses and napkins and a bottle of sanitizer all for our use during our visit! We decided to splash the boat out and have the Pre Fixe menu and go for a Three course meal food two ladies needed time to Catch up on the months goings on .The food tasted delicious and presented extremely well . We asked for the bill and we were given the biggest shock of all the whole bill came to a grand total of £26.00 and some pennies we thought there may of been a mistake however NOT it was a Tuesday lunch time and we qualified for the eat out government lunch scheme and absolutely perfect end to an an amazing experience.
