The Everest Inn - Newark

Friendly and helpful staff, great food - tasty with some less common choices on the menu as well as usual favourites. Any complaints are tiny things like I didn't want the waitress to reach across in front of me to place food on the table for the person next to me. Otherwise everything was great.

Greeted with a welcome and prompt service and despite being busy the staff ensured we were well looked after. Food was excellent and the price very competitive. All in all top spot.

1stly let me say the food was lovely and always is, but there was only one person working so if you needed anything you had to wait while she finished serving another table and if that table was a large person table that took a while as was in our case, Also this was a company do and we choose the Everest because we get 10% discount unfortunately after we finished our meal they informed us the food we had chosen the 10% didn't apply! This information should have been given to us before we ordered. But as I say the actual food was lovely.

Lovely food, friendly service, over-priced drinks, decent quality. When the food came out, it wasnt ours and then the waiter gave us the wrong bill. In all a decent meal but I'll not be going back in a hurry.

Persuaded to try a different dish to one ordered. That was fine but then charged for the more expensive dish. Overall v good and tasty. Would recommend

Despite the fact that in and around Newark is there is a lot of good competition, this restaurant ranks among the best in the area and beyond (Including Nottingham) with excellent food, service and surroundings.

The restaurant was very clean, tidy and well presented. The staff were attentive and well mannered and most importantly, the food was excellent. Packed with flavour! Was my first visit, but won't be the last!

As always an excellent meal in a friendly atmosphere. We never feel rushed and are always looked after. Brought so.e friends for their first visit and they have said they will be using it again, as we will too.

We visited Everest for the fist time and was a little apprehensive, my wife and i were celebrating our wedding anniversary and wasn't sure whether the restaurant would be appropriate, our expectations were soon rewarded with very polite staff, a lovely ambiance and well presented delicious food. Overall our experience at Everest was excellent. We will pleased to recommend your restaurant to our friends.

Far too noisy for us, the food was good ,nice resteraunt service was ok but you where very busy,the staff where very good, we may try you again mid week

We had a lovely meal. The food was delicious, the staff were polite and attentive. The menu offers plenty of choice, prices are reasonable and portion sizes are adequate for most people. This was not our first visit to this restaurant and we will certainly be back. Thank you.

Good food, good service, slightly slower than we were use to, but the restaurant was full and the atmosphere electric. Have been before and will go again.

We have visited this restaurant on many occasions and have never been disappointed. The service and food are excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. If you like Fish you must try the whole tandoori trout. It is absolutely delecious.

The staff were extremely helpful and more importantly the food was interesting and of a very high quality. One of the top places to eat in Newark.

Food and service great as normal. I regularly visit both in Grantham and Newark. Would certainly recommend either restaurant. First time I have used Quandoo for booking and receiving the confirmation and seeing the availability was very good.

Excellent food, attentive service. Only slight downside was the background music slightly intrusive but that could have been due to where we were seated. Overall a good experience and we will return.

Excellent service throughout the entire meal, friendly and professional staff - they were happy to take a group photo, as it was a birthday meal. The food was absolutely delicious, everyone was very happy with the variety of food to eat, with all palates being catered for - vegetarian and meat eaters. Definitely would recommend anyone who enjoys Indian and Nepalese food to go and eat there.

A restaurant that never fails to deliver.. A great atmosphere with attentive staff. My wife is a vegetarian, which can be an issue sometimes when restaurants have limited menus. This isn't a problem at The Everest Inn. They have a comprehensive menu.... The food is Excellent..... It's our favourite restaurant

We had a party of 8. The service was good. Meals arrived in good time and all were very tasty and the right amount. The waitress was very patient with us as we all paid separately. Would definitely visit again

Great food as always. My favourite restaurant in Newark. We'll definitely be back. To get 6 out of 6 though they need to turn the heating up a bit - my wife and I always feel a bit too cold.

Very good meal from a varied menu. Good value. It was a Wednesday evening and quiet but excellent and attentive service. Will go again and definitely recommend.

The service overall was not the quickest but the restaurant was fairly busy. The staff were friendly and entertaining and the food was amazing. We will definitely go again.

Excellent food had the special but wasn't really enough food for my husband. Service was good and standard of food high would defiantly recommend his to family and friends.

The non vegetarian thali was an interesting mix of dishes which combined into a perfect-sized meal. All of our group will be happy to return. Service was attentive.
