Lovely view, but food was ok. Would have liked more than 2 roasties, considering most people around us was asking for more gravy, I would have thought there would have been more on the plate.
Our wedding anniversary, all we wanted was a nice relaxing day, so sorted, just what we wanted. Thanks, John and Mandy.
Excellent service and excellent food as always. Cannot recommend enough!
Lovely food great service amazing views. Would recommend ta all
Unfortunately we never got to eat as despite being on one of the longest footpaths in the country they don't accept dogs :'(

Friendly staff, great food and the views are a bonus!
Excellent food good service and a fabulous location we travel from Reading to visit my mother and regularly take her there for lunch never disappointed
What a location! Enjoying stunning views, excellent pub grub and brilliant service it is certainly a destination worth going to.
Delicious food in a lovely setting. One of our favourite restaurants in Gloucestershire- highly recommend
Amazing food, nice quiet friendly atmosphere. Staff were very attentive. Would highly recommend.
Lovely food, however we felt that some of the meals needed veg with it but was told we would have to buy that extra as a side. I wanted pork belly and mash but I was put off by the fact it it didn’t come with veg and would of had to buy a side portion. This was a regular occurance with a lot of the meals which I feel isn’t value for money. Overall service was good.
Visited for lunch both food and service was excellent. We would visit again
Lovely food. Great service. Good prices. Cracking views. Would definitely go back.
First time visiting edgemoor in with family on a Sunday. Food was lovely, venue was immaculate and the views exceptional!
What a little gem of a place. Fantastic freshly cooked food. Great friendly service. So much better than a chain restaurant. Will definitely be going again.
Food was spot on. Only slight black mark was the hour wait for desert. However when eventually it arrived was lovely.
Food choice, quality and presentation and service excellent ! Thanks
Always friendly and welcoming with lovely food and great views
We wanted to find somewhere for lunch with friends near Painswick Rococo Gardens. We just found the pub on the internet and gave it a try - but had a glorious Sunday lunch, we're really pleased with the wide range of choice and the desserts were scrummy! Beautiful view and friendly staff. Thank you for a lovely Sunday gathering of friends and family.
Nice and quiet valentines night out made for a romantic occasion. Great food in general and service was nearly flawless, just let down by a missing coffee with desert.
Wonderful meal. Lovely staff. Had the place to ourselves to start with as ate early. Not busy on a Tuesday so would suit couples. Will definitely be visiting again.
Great service with fab food as always, something for everyone and the view must be the best in the county, We will be back again soon.
super food large menu, very good staff clean and tidy easy parking good views. We would recommend to everyone to pay a visit lunch time or evening.
We have visited the Edgemoor many times over the years and always enjoyed great food in very pleasant surroundings, The staff are friendly and helpful.
Travelled a long way to meet friends and found Edgmoor Inn on a google search. Glad I did. Excellent welcome followed by some very good food Am sure that we will return
Friendly, comfortable and great food. Great service and lovely views over the valley. Baby had a great time too. Well recommended and will visit again 😀
Excellent Lunch. Couldn’t fault any aspect of meal or service. This pub / restaurant is as good as any we have been to anywhere in the UK.
On Sunday we had a lovely meal. The roast lamb was perfectly cooked and the kids fish and chips went down a treat! Plenty of space, tables not crammed to close. And we had an amazing view out the window from our table!
The food was good but it was let down by the service which was poor. Our table wasn’t ready despite booking the day before. Service was slow and half the desert menu was sold out. We expect better considering the prices charged. It’s the first time I haven’t left a tip at a restaurant.
A well establoshed in / restraunt with a reasonable price and Exellent food and attentive staff. Lovely views in the summer overlooking Painswick through the painswick valley
Excellent food, good value for money. Staff welcoming, polite and attentive. Excellent service. Wonderful country pub atmosphere. Will most definitely eat at the Edgemoor again.
Good menu choices, pleasant staff, good food reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere. Better than a more expensive fine dining restaurant I'd been to the previous day
Very nice setting and plenty of room. Good choice on the menu and reasonably priced staff were on the ball and they new the menu
Meal came out cold Pricey for the standard of cooking Landlord not very friendly The best thing is the view
Lovely meal shared with friends. The battered fish was superb. Two of my friends had scampi which was equally delicious. Back in the New Year for more!
We had a lovely lunch. The menu provided something for everyone. The portions were generous & the coffee/tea with a taster pudding is a brilliant idea.
