The Edgemoor Inn

the overall experiance was very good, the food was excellent and the service very good. I was given a very cloudy pint of beer but it was replaced very quickly for a clearer one.

It was somewhat dissapointing compared with our last visit. I didn't feel I wanted to linger for dessert or coffee.

Good choices for lunch menu. We all chose different meals and all were really good. Service was friendly and efficient. Also fabulous views over the painswick valley from the restaurant.

A great place for a meet up with old friends. The only downside is that it was chilly. Everything else was very good, we will be retruning.

Sunday lunch was a good size with a very good range of seven vegetables all cooked to perfection. Plenty of lamb which was also well cooked, tender and tasty. Puddings we’re filling and home made . Service was good all in all a very enjoyable lunch .

The food was well presented, beautifully cooked and the waitress was attentive and polite. I was entertaining friends from Yorkshire and they were very impressed, they loved the situation and the views from the pub.

The Edgemoor Inn is a pub in a great setting which deserves great food etc and it doesn't disappoint! :) Every time we go there we enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the view and today was no different. A thoroughly enjoyable occasion to celebrate our wedding anniversary.

The vegetarian curry and the fish and chips were very good. The falafel salad was a bit disappointing.

The setting and service was great. Food was generally good but I was disappointed with the very fin piece of cod served with my fish & chips. I suspect that the fish wasn't cod.

Good but tartare sauce would have been good with the fish and chips.

Was not impressed that waitress & waiter had a teaowel hanging out of the back pocket of the jeans & trousers when bringing the meals out 2 the table.

Dropped in for lunch after a very hot but fun guided walking experience with Cotswold Trails. This pub rejuvenated us with their chilled beers, tasty food and stunning views.

Great food, service, and a view of the valley that is unbeatable!

Friendly staff, excellent service, beautifully cooked food and all in a atmosphere which observed social distancing and health requirements. We felt very safe even with a fairly crowded evening - there was a lovely buzz about the room which is quite large and therefore tables are kept well apart. Not to mention the views. Would recommend

Very nice food. Good quality and nice and hot. Friendly and accommodating staff. Only downside was quite a long wait for food after ordering. Recognise however that it was a busy time.

It was very good ,the place is always nice .Only comment would be nice to have a window open a little to get some air in as was warm when eating .
