Very good, excellent service, friendly and more than happy to explain the menu to a newbie! We didn't wait long for our food. And when the food arrived it was delicious. Original Jamaican food, very tasty😊😊😊Will definitely be back!

The food was excellent but the service was a little slow. The background music quality was not great. the decoration and furniture etc. were really nice.

It took a long time to be seated and the food was even slower. Fried chicken and fish fillet were very salty. Not enough napkins on the table and the cutlery was dirty. Plates weren't served with the platter. The table was sticky. Toilets were horrendous and there wasn't any toilet paper, the taps splashed water all over the sides. Rotis/lobster/vibe and ambiance was nice. Service staff were helpful. Loved the 241 cocktails !!!

The food was lovely, but the waiting time was ridiculous, the waitress was brilliant had advised that they were 2 staff down, and she didn't normally do tables, she does the bar, so a round of applause for the lovely lady. Then this loud music came on while we were in the middle of our dinner which meant we had to really shout at each other to hear ourselves talking, not sure where they are going with that? Is it a dining experience or a rave?

Excellent food, portion sizes were generous. The price of our bill was excellent for the four of us plus we had food to take home.

Great restaurant. The Nuffield wings platter is so fab. Well worth the money. Big portions of food but should come with the slaw. Watermelon crush is the best drink ever! Service can be slow, but worth the wait when it comes. A must try

Visited for the first time on recommendation and was not disappointed. Food was very tasty and authentic with very generous portion sizes. I tried the chicken curry roti - absolutely delicious. Cocktails were well proportioned with alcohol. Tried the paradise and scored this 10/10, very flavoursome and not too strong! Friendly & comfortable atmosphere Will be returning again very soon

A little hidden gem tucked away in the centre of Croydon. The food is really tasty with a great selection on the menu. It is authentic Carribean food so is well seasoned and spicy! The cocktails are soooo good! And when it's 2 for 1, it's hard not try a few! The staff were really welcoming, friendly and attentive. The only point I would make is the seats aren't that comfy but hey, we were only there for a few hours for dinner and it was worth it!

The drink and food took over 40mins to be served after we ordered and no attentioned paid to us, ie, "are you enjoying your meals?". I want to support my people but with this kind of service, they make it hard.

Food is amazing!! So tasty! Plantain comes with most of the meals so we should've been told that before we ordered our side portions. Portions are a nice size, which is good. The only let down is that everything takes ages to come, including drinks. Overall, great service: friendly and attentive.

The food Andy drink at Dutchie Pot was excellent. I will definitely return. The service was very friendly and efficient. There was a long wait, but we were a large party of 10 on a Friday night which could have accounted for this. We had a great time.

Great food and good portion size. Maybe a little slow but it's understandable as they get so busy with some difficult diners. Our waitress on only her third shift coped marvellously. Recommend the cocktails too.

Good food, great cocktails and the service was impeccable. I will definitely return, it is much better than Turtle Bay which is not authentic Caribbean food.

Food was of a good standard. Portion sizes were generous. Waitresses seemed under pressure as the restaurant was so busy and struggled with some of our Orders, leading to us being overcharged. However when pointed out this issue was resolved quickly.

The food was good but the service is poor. The waiters/waitresses at no point throughout your meal come to see if you're ok, whether you're enjoying your meal or whether additional drinks are required. It would be nice if at the beginning of the meal they introduced themselves- gave their name etc and said they will be looking after us. However this didn't happen and we found that the only way to get a waiter's attention is to call out to them whilst they are passing and yet disappointingly they include a service charge in the bill, which is not deserved! We initially had a waiter who got our drinks order wrong- we asked for Strawberry daquiris and received Strawberry Mojitos, it then took a further 15min for the correct drinks to be brought to us. We shared a starter and the waiter offered to bring us an additional plate, which he never brought! We then had to ask another waitress for the plate, it appeared that waitress was then assigned to our table. We had our meal, then had to wait 20min after finishing our meal to get a waitresses attention for the bill. All in all I won't be rushing back.

I took my daughter to Dutchie restaurant for a pre birthday lunch yesterday. The service - Impeccable, Thank you Garfield. The food was to die for (I'm in love with the Chef whoever he is) The two for one Cocktails were the best I've tasted outside of the Caribbean (did not have to ask for a top up of rum - lol), I actually could not manage the second one and that is not like me at all - lol. My daughter had an amazing time and we will definitely be coming back and bringing the rest of the family. Well done Dutchie and keep up the good work!!

BEST Carrabian Food Ever......my little version of Jamaica in Croydon. Excellent service, great prices. Love the 2 for 1 cocktails......proper cocktails. Hope they stay, excellent food. The noisy bit, is the music but I like it, I don't want to go to a dead quiet restaurant, that be just boring and weird, so I don't knownhow that is a negative, who eats in complete silence at a restaurant.

Food was as expected and presented very nicely. I had the chicken roti with sweet potato fries. Very very nice and generous portion. My friend had lobster, this was small but tasty. Unfortunately the service was bad. The owner did apologise and gave a valid reason. We were also give 2 free cocktails each which was a great gesture. I look forward to going back to see if the srevive has improved.

Very slow service staff are unattentive and most definitely not trained in basic service. Startes poor quality for the price and took forever to come (chilli fish was more batter than fish and shrimp 6 for £6 lol. Mains is what managed to give this rating a 3 jerk chicken was definitely jerked and presentable and the same for the jerk salad. Drinks were ok.

Best Caribbean restaurant I have been to in a long time. I def recommend the nuff wings platter for the starter and get a portion of plantain to go with it. It's amazing! Main food portions are excellent for big eaters and the 2 for 1 cocktails had the room spinning last night for me..lol...thanks again guys for a great date night out with the hubby!
