Fish lovers will have an excellent time here. Our party enjoyed great oysters, scallops, lemon sole, salmon and sea bass. We had a baby and a 3-year old with us and were looked after really well

The food was fine. The smoked salmon was lovely. The juices had far too much ginger in them and the music was incredibly loud so we all ended up shouting at each other which just didn’t make for a relaxing brunch.

Delicious food! Had the chill burger and it was HAWT but SO tasty. Very accommodating of children and babies (the baby change facility even has children's audio books playing!) - lovely staff.

Great service and good food. I travelled from Lewisham to get there and wasn’t disappointed. I think £30 for a bottle of prosecco is a bit crazy... probably cost them £2 but obviously us Londoners still pay it...

Good food, nice staff bit expensive but worth a visit would definitely recommend to others and I will go back at some point in the future

The service at The Crystal Palace Market is only surpassed by the great food they serve! The staff there are always friendly and polite, always happy to answer any questions regarding the menu.

Amazing food, great service, very fresh and I even got advice from the chef about what fish to go for. My husban had steak which was also delicious

First rate food and service. We had a most enjoyable meal and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is serious about food, especially those who enjoy fresh fish.

I was concerned that the whole fish I had was tainted by the cooking fuel. Perhaps the coals are lit using a firelighter. That's what I think.

The food was great as always but the service was lacking. Torn between it being busy or the fact we were using a taste card 🤔 Either way it was a shame because we would of spend more money had we been able to order another drink etc

Meal was very good with all the people in my party enjoying their meals. Service was good and the staff friendly. Price was also reasonable. Shall definately return.

I'm a regular at this place and tonight the food was good as per usual, Seafood Broth followed by Lamb Stew, excellent and I am replete however, very disappointing service . . you know, when waiters will never catch your eye and you're having to wave and wave for attention? And it wasn't particularly busy. Nevertheless, I'd always recommend this restaurant.

A beautiful restaurant, perfect for a Sunday brunch with friends. Delicious food from a great locally sourced menu, everything was cooked perfectly. The staff were kind and attentive, especially as we were with a baby they were very helpful. I am very keen to go back and try for supper.

It's the second time I've been but with different company. Both times for lunch and we all enjoyed it. Very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend it.

This is a local'ish regular for me that's enjoyed by all the family (husband and teenage son). It has a pleasant atmosphere and fresh food that's consistently at a high standard. I also like the fact that you can see the chefs doing their thing in the kitchen!

Had a great time at The Crystal palace Market last night.Had the Lemon sole while my guest enjoyed the scallops. Everything tasted great we were well looked after & cant wait to return!

Lost the veggie burger, only one veggie option, apart from salad. Salad comes with sad leaves and a bland dressing that needs changing seriously. You will lose customers over this including us

Had a poor experience previously but this evening made up for it. Great service by the duty manager who listened to our previous experience and made sure we had a good night.

This was my first time at market place Had a really good evening, food was good every thing cooked from fresh , staff were very polite and friendly.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. It really was a very enjoyable experience. We will definitely go again and have recommended it to our friends.

Lovely place to go out as a couple or as group of friends. Delicious food and attentive staff. Would give 10 out of 10 to this local gem. Definately will be back.

Fantastic meal of scallops followed by a whole sea bass perfectly cooked. Washed down with a nice bottle of wine and espresso coffee. The food here is excellent and with Tastecard is also excellent value.

What a lovely experience. Me and three other co workers came here for a celebration dinner to end the school year and the food was delicious. Everything was perfect from the staff down to the water that is served straight away. Two of us had the steak cooked to perfection and one had the salmon which she thoroughly enjoyed and the other the burger who also thought it was delicious. The staff were very helpful and attentive. I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone

Food nice. Not cheap. Staff lacked confidence. Needs more wine choices so not £25 min bottle rose. Food best part - understated on menu so nice surprise.

The atmosphere was good, fish was cooked perfectly it's nice to overlook the kitchen and bar and the service was great as always. It's somewhere I always love to go back to.

Went for anniversary. A bit pricey but Excellent food and service, and they allowed our newborn baby in too! Very welcoming and accommodating with brilliant menu- will definitely attend again.

Amazing service and quality of food. The price is also very reasonable. Will definitely visit again very soon as local to us. Also very child friendly!

Excluding our waitress, the service was pretty bad. I asked for a negroni spagliato. The gentlemen went to check with the bar last if they could do it, then didn't come back for my partner's order. The starters - burrata and croquettes were mediocre. And the seabass was served skin side down so it was soggy. The green parsley sauce was too thick. The double chocolate mousse did not need chocolate sauce on it. It was sugary and took away from the rather nice mouse. Given the bill was around £100, this meal should have been better. I came when you first opened and the food was excellent. I came about a year ago and it was okay. After last night's meal, I won't be coming again. I hope you do take this review seriously as it really was disappointing . Thanks

Such a good local restaurant. The food was well presented, fresh and the service was professional. Really was a hidden gem in south east London.

Good food but not amazing. I ordered scallops I think they were not fresh but freeze. I still don't understand the interest of the sauce with. The service is nice.

One of the best restaurants, loved it, food was amazing, nice staff, i had rainbow trout which was perfect, plus the burgers in the restaurant is very tasty.

This is only a 4 because the steak tartare was finished, which I'd been looking forward to, and so was the beef stew. It's also a shame you only get the table for two hours– I feel if you're paying for a meal you should get to take as long as you like. The fresh fish here however is excellent, simply cooked, the new potatoes and steamed vegetables are delicate and fresh, the focus here is on simplicity and bringing out the best in their ingredients. The service in freindly and efficient. Recommended.

The Eggs were undercooked Hollandaise sauce was flavourless Tea strainer was dirty and had to be replaced Restaurant smelt like vinegar (at 11am when it opens!) Floor dirty on opening Late opening (11am for breakfast???) Felt rushed by the waitress and the bill was not presented in a bill holder

I had read raving reviews about the crystal palace market but was a bit disappointed. Although the quality of the ingredients was undeniably fresh and tasty, the food was tepid and not all that well presented. Service was amiable, if a tad inexperienced. And the music... why so loud. It killed our conversation and although we had politely asked for it too be turned down a few decibels, it was soon at the disagreeable loudness. It was Sunday brunch after all. Felt the music was there for the benefit of the staff. A shame. I was planning to go there regularly and this has put me and my guests off.

Good service but the food was excellent. We had an El Capricio burger, and it was delicious. Super cut of beef. It was cooked well done and this did not take away from the tenderness and juiciness of the burger. Many establishments struggle to cook beef well done, normally achieving a burnt and crispy outing, but not on this occasion. Superb.

Food was okay here but very overpriced. My main was cold and had to send back the sweet potato wedges as they were cold and not cooked. Sorry but won't be rushing back here there is plenty choice of other restaurants that are more reasonably priced with better quality food.

Great service and great food! Always worth a visit if your in the area. Central location. Good seasonal menu. Burger and goats cheese crocquettes recommended. Sweet potatoe fries bit disappointing.

Great food. A few items missing off the menu but we did go on a Monday so it was expected. A good time had by all.

Lovely restaurant but really disappointing food - steak was horrible. Service was ok. There are better places to eat in Crystal Palace. Overall a disappointing evening out we probably won't return
