Enjoyed our evening the day before our wedding, staff very professional and food lovely. Will visit again soon

On arrival we were told they only serve Sunday lunch or sandwiches, not what we expected when we had previously looked on their website then made our booking. We didn’t eat, we left the premises, it did look like a nice place to dine though.

Food amazing, staff very attentive. Loved it! Will be back!

An afternoon with friends. It was really busy so took a while for our first drinks order but otherwise excellent service and good quality food and drinks.

Visited with my wife and two teenagers on a Monday Evening as a birthday dinner. Not too busy as you would expect on an early weekday but just as we like it. Excellent service from the start, which continued until we left. Glorious food with great cocktails and beautifully kept hand pulled Theakstons. Highly recommended from two quite fussy old buggers.

Fabulous afternoon tea food was very tasty, lots of it and well presented! Service was exceptional too couldn’t fault it will definitely be returning!

We went for my husband's birthday and had the seaside picnic afternoon tea, the staff where very attentive, friendly and nothing was to much trouble. The food was amazing we would definitely recommend it to our friends and family. Looking forward to returning x

Table wasn’t ready even though I had a reservation, the food took an hour to come out and others who ordered after us got there food before us . Overall for the price your paying it should be better

On recommendations from friends I decided to book the Counting House for my partner's birthday dinner, but, as it was our first ever visit, we weren't sure what to expect. From entering the building and being immediately impressed by the sophisticated decor, to leaving happy, slightly tipsy and full of quality food our experience was 10/10 from start to finish! The half portion of pizza was still a very impressive size (the pineapple relish was to die for!), the cocktails were intriguing and delicious in equal measure and the two staff on duty were attentive and friendly throughout. We'll be back!

We went for Sunday lunch .... it was delicious. We visit Cleethorpes a few times a year and always make sure that we end our weekend with Sunday lunch at the Counting House. It's the best Sunday lunch I've ever had (except my mum and Grandma's ... sorry). We will be back soon :-)

Book an Afternoon tea for my friend who is celiac. When we got there they was unable to have it as it wasn’t booked as an Afternoon Tea. I booked it on line but It’s not very clear to use so I think you need to make it more clearer. My Friend came from Sheffield for the day. And it was a disaster.

One of, if not, the best meal Ive had in Cleethorpe in ages. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were extremely attentive. One negative point would be when 'loud people' from the bar, came through and began sitting at tables in the grill area. Sort this out and it would be a perfect 10/10 evening.

The service and food were good but it was so noisy making it difficult to have a conversation.

What an excellent dinner today. Definitely not run of the mill pub food. Quality food expertly prepared . Presentation & Service excellent. Perfectly priced.
